Preparing for New Baby

by W.F. Price on July 3, 2014

I’ve got another little one on the way and he’s due right about now, and complicating matters I picked up the kids for the summer today. These things can’t be predicted with much certainty, so if there’s radio silence for a little while that’s the likely explanation.

Once we’re settled in, it will be back to normal, thanks to readers and supporters who have given me the leeway to make it through the summer. In the meanwhile, I’ll still be posting on a near daily basis if possible, but the schedule might be a bit unpredictable.

Thanks, everyone. There are interesting times ahead, and I intend to stay in the thick of it.

You’re going to be surrounded by children. Infants are awake more at night and the older kids are active in the daytime. Try to sneak in a nap here and there, like while showering.

One shaming term Feminists can’t use against you is deadbeat! Dead tired but not deadbeat.

Best of luck to you and your family!

Not for nothing, but it would be REALLY interesting for the world to read about your new-born experiences “from the male perspective.”

Too often fatherhood is treated strictly from a “money-mule” perspective. You know, guys don’t “really” want kids and do everything they can to force the mother to breast-feed, etc. so the father can go back to the “easy stuff”…like working 60 hours a week at a job he hates.

There is little talk about the love men have for kids. How they sacrifice for them. How it’s “painful” to be separated from them (DH Lawrence wrote a lot about this). Or how dads worry when their child is sick. If Papa works extra hours to buy his spawn things like bikes and sports equipment, it’s not tallied in the “CARING” column.

I always liked this over-the-top samurai series, LONE WOLF and CUB. It’s about a master samurai with his kid wheeled around in a James Bond type cart outfitted with death-dealing gizmos. Bloody, but often in a “funny” way:

At least it shows men being violent in a caring-for-kids way. :>)

I was the first person to touch my son’s crown as he emerged from my ex-wife.
I caught him as he fully emerged, and then I immediately burst into a flood of tears – delight at his arrival, relief that he was with us, intact, bursting pride at my ex-wife’s efforts, overwhelming sadness at my loss of childless-man status, all mixed up and amped a lot by a long hard labor.
Good luck with the whole process.
It’s good to know a child will be born by a man like yourself.

How about putting a picture of you holding the bambino on a tee?

The front could read:

“Baby needs a new pair of shoes!”

The back could say:

Support the Spearhead
http://www.the-spearhead.com

Might be a way to raise some moolah…if only by increased clicks for banner ads by people who see it on MRAs.

The shirt could also attract media attention.

And make you sales from the tees themselves.

You might also contact makers of baby-stuff (food, diapers, etc.) It’s a whole new market, fathers. Plus some might agree to donate portions of sales to “the cause” like Kellogg’s cereals does per breast cancer.

Enjoy your new arrival Bill. So you already know it’s a boy?

A graphic that captures the media coverage of the “men’s rights conference” :

@Elmer

Yeah, the ultrasound made it pretty clear he’s a boy. Evidently, the hormone wash in the womb gives them big balls. It’s actually pretty comical, but they get more modest proportions not too long after birth.

Congratulations! . Your new arrival is real, and far more important than anything else.

Best!

Yeah my son Shemp had big balls when he was born. But now, well at least he is no longer a “vegan”.

I’ve still got big balls, my little body just didn’t grow into them! Mind you. the left one has had two operations, one for varicose veins and the other for water on the nut. Ouch!!

Anyway, got 3 more regular handyman customers this week. Fifty Aussie dollars just sent on it’s way for the new one! Well done Bill and family!

For all the vitriol the media is spewing towards the manosphere, fact is that the manosphere is pro-children and the feminist media is not.

Good read here, nothing new but well summarized : http://blog.jim.com/economics/the-cause-of-population-decline.html

Compare and contrast with the Alpha Woman meme.
