Taking a Breather

by W.F. Price on March 12, 2013

Just spent the weekend with the kids, and have them again next weekend for the spring break, so I’ve been preparing a bit the vacation, taking care of loose ends and such. Haven’t had as much time for writing, consequently.

I’ll keep posting, but it might be a little light for a week or so during spring vacation, as I’ll be visiting the grandparents down in California. Either way, it should be nice to post a bit from San Francisco. It’s an entertaining place for children and adults alike.

So stay tuned.

When you get a chance, you might like to take a look at this article, which suggests the feminist lifestyle is catching up with women, and for the first time in centuries, their lifespans are starting to decrease:

Enjoy your vacation.

OT, I present for your amusement: reality vet Rebecca Cardon swears off sex for two months, says self-esteem at all-time high.

“Once I began having sex (at age 16) there was no break. I was always either in a relationship or hooking up with someone. The longest I ever went was a couple of weeks,” says Cardon, now 37.

Now she has decided to go two months without sex. Cardon says CELIBACY is a lot easier than she thought it would be, and has taught her a lot about herself.

“I learned that I have many attributes outside of my appearance and my sexuality which I never really believed,” she said. “This requires you to dig deep and take an honest look at yourself which can be very painful. If you are ready to change, fundamentally change, then the 60 day sex cleanse could be for you.”

Quite the role model.

No worries Price, any time spent with (one’s own!) kids is pure gold. Get it while they’re still kids, they grow up in the blink of an eye, trust me, what I thought were daft old geezers used to tell me that, it’s true.
(OTOH, other people’s kids all-too-often end up making me regret leaving the steel-cap boots in the van, despite my best intentions).

Martel, my inner statto is craving for some figures to (ahem) flesh that out with.
Let’s see, 21 years @ … let’s be generous to her hot picks, and it makes for an easy sum, just the 6″. For credibility’s sake in the saddle once a night, maybe more, can’t be less. Less a fortnight (per year? the whole time? What?) is-s-s-zz … dang near about a half-furlong shy of a mile (can’t help it, it’s Cheltenham Week).
You go girl! Maybe she could count all the quickies and get up into the, the .. I know!
The Mile-Long Club.
Thank heaven for The Wall, she can go out to pasture for a bit without being brought to stud. Like they say, form is temporary, class is permanent.

Take care Bill.

Here is another OT gem — an Australian feminist has decided that men are not guilty enough, and that women should be taught never to take the blame for the bad things that happens to them:

“In the interests of equality, men should accept more guilt, women less … Women live lives of continual apology. They are born and raised to take the blame for other people’s behavior … Until women themselves reject stigma and refuse to feel shame for the way others treat them, they have no hope of achieving full human stature.”

I essentially sacrificed what remained of my life. I’m paying for it, and will probably continue to pay until the day I die. But at least I have some hope that my kids are better off for having a father who wouldn’t abandon them despite the cost.

geographybeefinalisthimself March 12, 2013 at 15:28

@ AF

I read that article, but it doesn’t mean that men are going to surpass women in life expectancy anytime soon. Life expectancy usually only covers one calendar year (e. g. 1981, the year I was born), so even if men do surpass women in life expectancy in a future calendar year it will only apply to newborn boys born in that calendar year.

Even if the above outcome does occur, the collective temper tantrum that feminist will throw over being beaten at their own game will be both breathtaking and mind-numbing.

@GeographyBee

Sure, I wasn’t saying it meant men would outlive women. I was just using it as yet more proof (as if we needed it) of how destructive feminism is to women.

Even more interestingly, I have discovered this about feminism’s favourite friend, lesbianism: While gay men who marry now have increased longevity to unmarried or divorced men, the same doesn’t hold for married lesbians: in fact, they have the highest mortality risk of any group, most notably at risk from committing suicide and getting cancer, particularly breast cancer:

That was a hoot, Grant! Ta.
So salon bluestocking Greer, raised a Catholic , feels constantly guilty, and is permantly enraged by having to suffer these feeeewings?
And a study conducted by some Basque chin-stroker finds out that Spanish (yer i knows) girls are also overwhelmed by guilty feelings?
What, in that diehard bastion of Lutheranism ..ooops maybe not.

Nevertheless, La Greeer is suitably enraged, and canters off looking for Someone To Blame. Oh quelle surprise, I am astounded. She has found the culprits. Not the nuns, not even the Pope. Teh Menz. Colour me startled. Never saw that coming. Oh, and apparently men (spit ..) are also to blame because some random crowd of wogs somewhere behaves like the savages they are. Of course.

Took me about Ten seconds on the net to come up with a bazaar feminist slant , Revisionist history topic for discussion .
http://www.cnn.com/2013/03/13/world/women-pope/index.html?hpt=wo_t4

Two movies have been made about Pope Joan, who, according to legend, was a ninth-century Englishwoman who disguised herself under voluminous clerical robes to become a priest, something women are not allowed to be in the Catholic Church.
As the story goes, Joan outdid all the men in her religious studies and rose in the ranks of the cardinals to become pope. She then went into labor during a papal procession and the mob descended on her and her child, ending her reign.
See Men this is what we lack , the ability to tell a downright lie with out a huge grin coming across are faces .
In this story we can see every element of Feminism , The male acceptance to the lie , Revisionist history brought to you by the English who really should just have courses in there university’s about revising history to suit the crown , The Church emphatically nodding the big hat and saying nothing .
While in the real world men should just Point and laugh , Such as ” AHHHHHHHHHHHH right ! ( sarcasm )

For those of you who haven’t heard yet, our president Barak (a thousand days of darkness if Republicans cut spending) Obama has authorized $1.5 million for yet another money wasting insane feminist driven project. It seems, the money will be spent on research in order to determine why lesbians are overweight.
Although our country is facing an economic crisis, the gov’t feels that this is an important enough project to justify the spending, because so many people want to know why the girls/guys/? are so plump.

Back in the 1950s there was a pop song in which the chorus was: “Standing on the corner watching all the girls go by” and a verse was: “Brother you can’t go to jail for what you’re thinking”.
But, that may not be true anymore.

It seems a NY man was caught “planning” to kidnap, kill and eat (literally, not oral sex) 3-4 women, including his wife. It was discovered by his activity online in seeking information etc about how to commit the crimes.
In a Fox News item about this, I learned that man is now in custody awaiting some kind of trial and former prosecutor, Kimberly Guilfoyle, a Fox news legal consultant, is calling for a “life” sentence.

That’s all the info I have now, but it will be interesting to see how this thing develops.

In the meantime, I would advise you guys to be careful about what you are thinking.

(CNN) — New York police officer Gilberto Valle conspired to kidnap women, who prosecutors argued he planned to rape, torture, cook and eat, a federal jury decided Tuesday.
Valle’s lawyers argued the former police officer’s e-mails and online postings were just “fantasy role-play” and” dark improv theater,” but prosecutors said he was “deadly serious.”
Valle, 28, faces life in prison for the kidnap conspiracy conviction. He was also found guilty of illegally accessing a federal law enforcement database.

Ha w.f when you return . Happy st Patrick Day .
Being an Irish Male .whose grandfather fought in the 1916 Easter rising . This is more of a solemn day of reflection .
Can’t help but, To notice your name is price . When I think about Mens rights I can’t help but to think about the social injustices layered upon the Irish males in that time . How the English justice system of that time mirrors the System of Justice we have declining in common sense We are building and shaping in America today .
We have this Idea that the Waring of the green is from a poem by Yeats. This could not be father from the truth . The truth is when the masses of Irish Americans hit The harbor of New York There mouths where often colored green from a long voyage . This Voyage had little food and heaps of freshly cut grass were mounded for the livestock and the emigrants had No food so, Well ill leave it to your imagination what happened . After emaciation from along voyage they must of looked like quite queer to the well fed people of NY . With there skin and mouths colored green and weighing about 100 lbs from starvation .
The local dyes in the cloth also reflected the color of the Island Green .
My favorite poem by Yeats is this .

HAD I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

The fantasy would be IF he would pull the switch and as a COP Ill tell you that’s a big switch .

Your right in essences the legal system is living in fantasy land and convicting people of Metaphysical crimes .

Michele foucault does some interesting Writing on the writer and the use of Cognomen, The logic is we all use cognomen alter-ego’s to write what we can see but, Can’t explain in the fear of being held to the idea .

As a name (John locke)The Cognomen protects us from trial because the name . Its like trying to put Sherlock Holmes in Jail for drug use , We all know Sherlock Holmes is a Cognomen .
But in this case the legal system is putting Sherlock Holmes in Jail for drug use in the form of a NY cop .

Of course I respect your opinion as a law enforcement officer, Joeb, but:

This individual did more than think about it, he conspired, plotted, researched, shared his sick fantasies with other sickos, and identified potential victims ( among them his ex-wife).

Here’s the thing, if being an MRA involves throwing a dish like Guilfoyle under the bus and defending this two-bit Hannibal Lector,
it’s going to be a very tough road to hoe.
