I removed the login restriction on comment voting. Most readers don’t comment (like 99%), and I assume they don’t want to bother logging in, so there’s no sense in forcing them to do so just to give a thumbs-up. I’m keeping comments for those not logged in on moderation (you get sick of waking up only to have to deal with trolls first thing in the morning), but votes are open once again.

Thank you most kindly. Tis’ a significant improvement.
Joys of owning a successful blog I guess? I welcome it though.
Thank you, Welmer.
Thanks. Mr. Price.
Good move, Bill.
A couple days ago, after vowing to leave the computer off the whole day, I “logged in” and found that I had racked up Heartiste’s coveted Comment of the Week award, which compliments my Manboobz “We Hunted the Mammoth” award, as well as numerous other citations for excellence in trolling. In the past day alone have managed to get called both a racist and a race-traitor.
And now this. The more I try to distance myself from Uncle Elmer the more my self-emergent internet persona draws me back in.

I don’t know why but voting on Spearhead comments is far more satisfying than voting for the next pack of misandrist assholes that will spend their time chipping away at our rights as men and as citizens.
I only up-vote when I like something someone has to say. I rarely down-vote a comment, I just ignore them unless they are truly ignorant beyond comprehension (even Opus, though he frequently fits that category).
The good old days are back!
Price, February is over, What about Sarkeesian’s videos? was not she suppose to release the first video this past month?
I always assumed all my down-votes were the work of 3D Shooter. Now I know otherwise. This is so disappointing; but I am suspicious of taking red or green ticks too seriously: my worst most assinine idiotic comment ever (one I would have withdrawn had I had the option) – unlike Giordani Bruno one is not given nearly two decades (by the Vatican) to think better of ones errors – was my highest green-ticked comment ever, and my best comments always have an excess of Red-ticks.
Beware of easy popularity!

Holding one’s nose while voting is probably something all voters have experienced at one time or another, but voting against Democrats is pretty much always voting for the overall good.
Bear in mind that if Avenger returns to this site (I’ve noticed his absence), he will invariably berate the fact that readers can upvote or downvote any comments (including his) except for their own. He has already done just that on your own site, Welmer, even when commenters had to log in and contribute money to vote on comments.
(He also while posting did not seem to understand that he had no obligation to use the site.)
I do not know on which thread he did so, but I know he has already berated the practice of allowing upvotes and downvotes.
SPLC releases new report :
The Year in Hate and Extremism
SPLC releases new report :
Secular-progressive “watch dog” making us very afraid of right-wing extremist patriot groups – while our current presidential administration threatens to use drones on American citizens on American soil in an “extraordinary circumstance”.
Try buying ammo lately? Can’t. Shelves are empty. DHS is buying up everything being made. If you can’t take away their guns, you limit their ammo supply. Threat mitigated.
I’m glad to see the SPLC took “men’s rights” organizations off their hate list – after Manboobz convinced them we should be on, and AVfM convinced them otherwise…after directing them to RadFem hub, which really is a Hate Site. If you can have “white nationals”, you need to include “the new black panthers” too, I suppose. It’s all about inclusiveness and diversity.
@ keyster
Let’s hope that the $PLC and Morri$ Dee$ keeps men’s rights organizations off of their hate list indefinitely.
Let’s also hope Morri$ Dee$ goes after and destroys RadFem hub as well as Manboobz ,and destroys all the women on RadFem hub as well as Manboobz, the latter for trying to get men’s rights organizations and their supporters destroyed.
As for Morri$ Dee$ and the $PLC, they might want to change their name to the $outhern Law Center ($LC), given the paucity of work done to reduce poverty by that organization.
The $PLC is to civil rights organizations what PeTA is to animal rights’ organizations; both are the pariahs of their genres of non-governmental organizations.
Frankly, I’m disappointed. Some of my favorite conservative pundits (e.g. Steve Sailer and Pat Buchanan) have been prominently featured as “haters” by the SPLC. I was proud to be in their company.
You sure the $PLC has taken men’s rights organizations off of their hate list and that they are going after RadFem hub?
I don’t see the latter site on the $PLC website (nor do I see Manboobz posted as a hate site) and I do see that the $PLC has NOT scrubbed the men’s rights movement from their website.
In any case, the $PLC has been described as a “plantation civil rights organization.”
If the SPLC gave a damn about poverty and civil rights in the South, they’d be addressing the single biggest injustice there today: the marginalization, oppression and routine imprisonment without trial of poor, disproportionately black fathers. But instead they care more about securing generous military pensions for lesbians.
Actually, if you Google $PLC (without the dollar sign, of course) and RadFem Hub, you will quickly find out that the latter is RAISING donations for the former.
Remember that the RadFem Hub advocates androcide and it will probably not sink in with Manboobz that he is as fair game as anyone else with Y chromosomes for their androcidal fantasy. So is Morri$ Dee$, with whom it will also not sink in.
I’ve tried to “leave a comment” on some articles and haven’t seen them appear later. I’m not a troll and don’t even see where to “sign in.”
Great initiative. Ive clicked the like button many times to no effect. Course I should get around to registering one of these days too…..
