The Manosphere

By Professor Mentu

Slowly but surely, the Manosphere is gaining steam and extending its reach. Men in their late 30s and beyond who had the luxury of semi-rejecting the red pill while still finding moderate success are being outnumbered by a younger generation who realize they really don’t have a choice in the matter. Unlike the older men, these men didn’t choose to unplug; they were unplugged.

Yet they thrive.

Happiness is an eagle soaring through the air, because that’s what it was made to do; it worries not about the wind, because the same wind that creates resistance also gives lift. Happiness is a fish swimming in the water, because that’s what it was made to do; it worries not about strong currents, because the same turbulent waters that cloud its view also churns up sustenance. Happiness is a tree growing deep roots, because that’s what it was made to do; it worries not about its lack of freedom, because the same roots that hold it down also allow it to weather the storm.

Happiness is a man who protects and cares for his family, goes forth and conquers, gives of himself for a greater cause, and ensures his legacy – because that’s what he was made to do. He doesn’t fear resistance, turbulence, or commitment, because his masculine frame turns resistance into rise, finds sustenance in turbulent waters, and relies on the steadfast roots of commitment to provide stability for himself and safety for those he vowed to protect.

But today’s men are encouraged to meet resistance head on while being shamed for expecting lift. They’re told to man up and tough it out through turbulent waters while being called misogynists for expecting sustenance. They’re shamed into putting down roots in infertile hypergamous soil that offers no support, then are financially ruined and separated from their children when they cannot weather the storm.

And society wonders why these men walk away.

Play or be played: That’s the world the vast majority of men wake up to in 2012. For these young men, it’s not a philosophy or an attitude; it’s reality.

The companies they work for demand loyalty, but will fire them or lay them off without a second thought if profits dip one tenth of one percent.

The women they encounter demand attention, loyalty, resources and undue privilege, while offering very little in return. The natural hypergamous nature that once served them well in their quest to secure the best possible mate is now a sustained lifestyle bringing an endless pursuit of bigger and better. The average young woman today is less concerned about the number of quality men who would commit to her than she is about the number of men who retweet a photo of her breasts.

Young men today attend churches with pastors who demand they man up and support the church and its female parishioners, but that same church does nothing to cultivate an environment that encourages feminine strength. Sunday after Sunday they listen as the same Bible used to preemptively absolve women of all past, current and future transgressions is used to condemn men.

They have best friends from childhood who disappear six months after the wedding, because the new bride doesn’t want her hubby hanging out with single losers.

They have to pick up the tab for dad’s dinner, because his going broke trying to support mom, her new live-in boyfriend, and a 12 year old he’s not certain is even his. The young man watches as middle-management dad making $70k per year tries to crank the engine in his 11 year old car to no avail, and then has to give him a ride back to his apartment on the seedy side of town. The young man shudders as he realizes the father who “did the right thing” by sacrificing his life for his family can fit everything he owns into a 580 sq ft apartment with plenty of room to spare.

The young man has finally learned that men and women share the same inherent character flaws, but not the same consequences. He has sinned, and he has paid dearly. She has sinned, and she has been exalted.

He doesn’t hate his corporation; he hates the system. He doesn’t hate God; he hates what the church does in God’s name. He doesn’t hate women; he hates the unforgiving female support machine. He doesn’t hate feminists or White Knights; he hates navigating the environment they create.

That’s why there’s a Manosphere, and that’s why it’s growing.

Every day you can log on to any number of blogs to discuss how meeting the resistance of feminism gives rise to notch counts, how navigating the turbulent waters of society churns up the sustenance of independence, and how putting down deep ideological roots in the soil of personal responsibility can help you weather any storm life throws at you.

Men haven’t lost their need to find happiness by providing, protecting, sacrificing and conquering; we’ve simply discovered that providing for the modern feminist, working like a dog to protect a family that can be taken away at a moment’s notice, or risking our lives to conquer resources for some ungrateful women who claims she can do it on her own is an empty way to live. We haven’t changed the mission; we’ve changed the method. We now provide for ourselves and our immediate families, protect our interests, make selective sacrifices when the situation warrants, and conquer mountains of poon.

Men find happiness and purpose in the effort, regardless of who benefits from the effort. It took us a while to figure that out, and many of us still aren’t there yet, but we’re slowly coming around.

Welcome to the Manosphere; a place where we’re not afraid to call it exactly as we see it, turning betas into men is a group effort, no one is in charge, there’s no central theme, we can’t agree on a standard definition of anything, and we spend a good amount of time shooting flaming arrows at each other for no apparent reason.

To the casual observer, the Manosphere may seem like a disjointed collection of blogs and websites, but the Manosphere does not exist online; it exists in the hearts and minds of the next great generation of men. The Manosphere is the Big Bang of chaotic masculine disruption that will eventually bring into existence a new personal world of freedom for those who choose to be free.
It’s evolving and forming right before our very eyes.

I am 45 years old. My life and career has been destroyed by divorce, child support, alimony, and the extreme misandry that exists in America.

This is a great piece that you wrote. Here is what I would do if I were a young man.

If I were an 18 year old man, just beginning formal education:
1) Apply to universities overseas, especially Europe.
2) Take my degree from a European university on a foreign visa and try to stay in Europe and work. In Europe you can still get a pension and there are many beautiful women to look at.

If I were 25 and already had an education:
1) Apply to as many companies overseas as possible.
2) Preferably land in Europe and immediately begin residency for a second passport.

If I were going to stay in America:
1) Work like hell, live in a box or a van, and save all my money in gold.
2) Travel to a new country three weeks each year.
3) As soon as I had $500,000 (if that is even possible anymore) or more saved, expat.

Under no circumstances would I have an American girlfriend, nor an American wife, nor American children. I would limit my contact to American women on an absolute as-needed basis, unless she were very wealthy.

Keep in mind MGTOW is not a cure; it is only a bandage on cancer.America is perhaps the only country in the world where it is very difficult for a man to get and keep even one of the basics (good woman, children, steady job, retirement). To cure men of the these problems they face in America, you have to live in another culture.

There is no way America can ever be good for men again in our lifetime.

In other words, a man’s job is to threaten other men’s families with his “conquering,” and bear the brunt of violent punishment by other men threatening his family with their conquering. No thanks. Soldier is a far worse title than slave. I’d rather abandon cultural zealotry, greed, and paranoid self-defense and offer my loyalty to non-feminazi, non-war mongering people who don’t view me as a machine. Feminism is a manifestation of chivalry: women are vulnerable to everything, while men are vulnerable to nothing and are dangerous/useless whenever they’re not a utility for others.

turning betas into men is a group effort

There is no such thing as betas. Men are far more sophisticated than animals. Alpha/Beta is pushed by the game cultists who claim men can bang chicks who are higher than their own sexual desirability. Alpha/Beta defines the value of man solely based on how sexually desirable a young attractive woman finds him. There is far more to life than that.

For every partnerless man, there is a partnerless woman. The BS notion that the cultists are trying to push that the majority of women are sharing the minority of men is … BS. It’s neither difficult nor impressive to get sex, providing you don’t reach out of your league. It’s nice, until her feminist-poisoned relationship hostility comes out of the closet – time to get a new girlfriend.

As opposed to people patronizingly singing their praises while they work till they drop dead for wives they cannot divorce. Or be congratulated for getting tortured and slaughtered in battle in the name of false prophets, theft of resources, or defending yourself from people who are defending themselves from you. And let’s not forget the crippling sexual shame. Men never had it good.

Good article. Very eloquent. I agree with you that awareness is growing. Unfortunately, there are still a paucity of solutions and practical responses to our dilemma.

I’m a strong advocate of the only solution our forefathers afforded us in these circumstances: Revolution as an affirmative defense against the violence done to us first and without provocation.

I also counsel young fathers to not get a birth certificate or a social security number (in the US at least) for their children.

In addition to both these, I also advise men to not pursue a formal education. That way education can’t be used to impute income for calculating excessive child support.

I also counsel men to remain minimally employed. The fewer resources a man has, the fewer the system can seize and use for its nefarious purposes against other men.

Of course, I also counsel men to not marry or have children. Or even associate with women and feminists. Avoid bad associations. It’s hard when there are so many around but limiting the number helps. For instance, I do not associate with any women at all, including family.

Being free comes at a cost, but that cost isn’t nearly as great as the cost of losing our freedom. Benjamin Franklin wrote, “Those who would give up freedom for security deserve neither and will give up both.”

but i cant.

whether youre going through forced celibacy, or taking some kind of middle road, as long as thats what you really want i dont think many reasonable people that arent trying to sell you a PUA product are calling you a loser. no one here on the spearhead is at any rate.

so why is there so much hate for game in some people? the phantom men who are calling you betas are all in your head. no one is making fun of you, at least not here theyre not.

But one thing that will not work as a solution to our dilemma is compaining to our oppressors or appealing to them. Feminists (= malignant narcissists = psychopaths = sociopaths) interpret complaint or appeal to them as evidence that they are succeeding in oppressing us and will encourage them to impose even more.

In all the years I have been reading blog posts and columns on the Internet/Manosphere, I have rarely, absolutely rarely encountered a post this eloquently written, thematically integrated and poetically rendered. That it is also factually authentic makes it a treat beyond the common morsel of objective truth.

If I had written this, I would address it to every member of Congress and the POTUS.

Oops. What do I do if I don’t have a passport and can’t travel or expat? Any new thoughts? My wheels are still grinding away. You can probably hear them from there – LOL. I know, move to Guam.

I agree that the US over the past forty-four years has devolved into a third-world country with a big military and lots of nukes. Any recovery of our economy is coming exclusively at the expense of the lives and livelihoods of our most responsible men. The government and feminists are sacrificing these men and stealing and reallocating their resources in exchange for political power and control. That’s the recovery. The governments and central bank aren’t really doing anything but that. Most people are too stupid to understand that this is the case because they receive so much public assistance at the expense of honest, innocent, hard-working and responsible men. Or they borrow vast amounts of money from the central bank and force honest, innocent, hard-working and responsible men to pay off the debt and its interest.

Unfortunately, there aren’t many good countries to which a good man may escape. I definitely wouldn’t move to Europe. (What are you thinking – LOL?) But someplace other than the US I agree. Fortunately, there are some good men left in the US. They haven’t all sold out. As destructive as much of our legislation against manhood and fatherhood is, their destructive capacity has been mitigated to some degree by certain provisions. These aren’t adequate of course, but they do show that there are some conscientious men still around.

If any men did decide to stay in the US, where would you recommend they go? I’m thinking places like Detroit or New Orleans or some other place where the bottom has fallen out of the economy and where an intelligent and self-motivated man can stake out an existence of his own. Where the budget for law enforcement has been decimated and he doesn’t have to worry about being harrassed so much. And where his is still within some reasonable distance of some basic necessities like hospitals, etc…

Happiness is a man who protects and cares for his family, goes forth and conquers, gives of himself for a greater cause, and ensures his legacy – because that’s what he was made to do.

Is it? Says who? Generation after generation of men have marched to their doom with this kind of sermonizing ringing in their ears. Their gullibility manipulated, their good intentions exploited, usually to serve someone else’s interests. Men have had enough.

Ironically, we have feminism to thank for the fact that men are finally rejecting their assigned roles as utility objects to women. They are also questioning how society, and the elites who call the shots, have burdened them with the lion’s share of responsibility and sacrifice.

The idea that giving oneself to a ‘greater cause’ creates happiness is a romantic myth. Mostly, men have put their happiness aside to fight for causes, especially the ‘greater’ ones. The so-called manosphere encourages men to embrace the revolutionary notion that they have the right to set the parameters of their own goals – and choose those causes that benefit their own interests.

Despite paying lip-service to ‘selective sacrifices’ and providing for ourselves, this post is spoiled by the poon-worshiping/beta-bashing that is the gamers’ stock-in-trade. There will be no ‘next great generation of men’ unless we can put aside such schoolboy antics and figure out how to confront our real problems.

A certain type and class of man forming the cultural majority will never ever accept the concept or notion of social justice for males.

And so thinking men of the red-pill are left with imagining working alliances with different types and categories of men hitherto marginalised as cultural minorities.

A close look seems to show these outlier men to be very, very successful at achieving a social justice for their particular sub-culture of men.

Who knows. Little openings forced through specifically for these outlier males here, and then there, because of their political activism … Before long we main-streamers may be able shrug off the implement-identity and become human again. All thanks to the activities and activism of kinds of men we hitherto thought less of.

@andybob: A couple of points:

1. So whats your proposed COA? Appeal to the better angels of your oppressors? Ask for equality? Newsflash: If someone has to give you equality, it’s not equality. Is this your “next generation of great men?” Men who beg 22 year old girls in college dorms to sympathize with them and vote in a pro-male manner? Men who beg a government where (even though they disagree on the delivery system) conservatives and liberals both agree that men are to serve women’s interests in one form or another? What are you going to do, “punish” those women by withholding marriage and support until they see things your way? I’ve been doing that for years, and guess what: they don’t care. There will always, always, always be at least one man there to kiss their aging backside and give them what they want. That’s where the “beta bashing stock-in-trade” tool comes in handy.

If you want to kill the scavenger, you have to cut off it’s food source:
http://www.theuniversityofman.com/blog/welcome-to-jurassic-farce-tale-of-the-v-rex.html

2. Every time a man picks up his young son, hugs him, and teaches him a life lesson before he goes to work to pay the mortgage on the house that shelters his son, that man is sacrificing and giving of himself for a greater cause. I don’t think most men have a problem with that.

3. You and I both owe a debt of gratitude to hundreds of thousands of men who “marched to their doom.” Using the sacrifices of dead soldiers to further your rant is a better example of the “schoolboy antics” you accused me of.

4. Game discourages “poon worship” as you call it. We all have game – including you – some of us just study the psychology behind it to better understand the social dynamics of the SMP, while others just wing it. Either way, the game is happening, biology has assigned you a team, you’re a player, and it might be a good idea to study the rule book even if you elect to stay on the sidelines.

5. If you’re going to “reject your assigned role”, that’s fine, but you might want to assign another one in it’s place before everyone else assigns you the one of “that angry guy on the intergooglewebz.”

I have a river to float, steaks to grill, and a nice young lady blowing up my phone wondering where I am. I have to run, but I’m looking forward to reading through the rest of the comments tonight.

Well, actually, that isn’t exactly the criteria I use. I try to publish stuff that’s well-written and likely to make people think about things, whether or not I entirely agree with it. “and how putting down deep ideological roots in the soil of personal responsibility can help you weather any storm life throws at you.”

I have a question about this one, given that “female personal responsibility” is almost an oxymoron.

Since:
1) the vast majority of females are not displaying any sort of personal responsibility;
2) both liberals and to a lesser extent conservatives are both stacking the deck against males’ displaying personal responsibility through affirmative action for females;
and 3) most male-earned income goes to females who clearly do not deserve the money (divorcées or “single” mothers who had oow kids and threw the father out of the kids’ live);

why should never-married and childless males even bother to try anymore? Look very closely at argument 2) which indicates that the government does not even want their contributions that much anyway but wants to have it both ways with regards to 3).

so why is there so much hate for game in some people?

So, why is there so much hate for all men who are not part of the socio-philosophical “tribe” to which a particular man belongs?

That’s a rhetorical question. The “why” does not matter as much as dealing with the simple fact that is the way it is.

It’s a lot like Shi’ite and Sunni Muslims, who from outside their faith look like the same faith, can be bitter enemies of each other. Or, two flavors of Christianity in Northern Ireland carrying on a war against each other for the last 100 years.

I agree about 90% with what the professor said here. I have always maintained that men would adapt to the changing social-political climate, and that everyone invested in the status quo would hate, HATE, HATE those adaptations.

Women wanted to be “liberated” from their old social obligations, and demanded to be, and they have been. But, at the same time feminists, SoCons, and manginas have created a huge police state to keep men trapped in their old social obligations. No matter how hard the shell of a nut is – apply enough pressure from enough different directions, and it WILL crack.

I always believed that men would eventually just throw off the social roles that everyone was trying to keep them in enslaved in, and I knew that feminists, manginas, and SoCons would fight that to the death.

That is the essence of what MGTOW is – “take your social prescriptions and demands and shame and shove them where the sun don’t shine.”

It was inevitable. No nut has a hard enough shell to withstand the pressure which has been put on it.

But, for all I agree with the professor – and he is basically singing the same tune I have been for 40 years – he is just as enthusiastic about bashing another tribe which has been fighting the same enemies he is fighting – MRAs.

His current post about Vaginasaurus Rex, is about 1/4 MRA bashing. I don’t see the point. I don’t see the point of anyone except feminists, manginas, and SoCon White Knights bashing Game. Strangely enough, Game is catching on among one of the most surprising groups – Christian men.

Just as the US government kept the aboriginal native inhabitants of North America sabotaging each other through encouraging inter-tribal warfare, all this pointless sniping at other attitudinal/values “tribes” of men wastes everyone’s time.

However, I have observed enough men over the years to have come to believe that it is as inevitable as the sun going down and coming up again.

It’s just one of the things that men do – to the disservice of us all.

Here is why I would choose Europe if I were young:
1) Low incarceration rates Vs America. Around 80/100,000 in Wester Europe Vs 800/100,000 in the America.
2) Better job security. Laws in Western Europe protect from being dumped.
3) Pension. If you live and work in the right European country for long enough, you can still get a pension. The three pillar pension system in Switzerland, Netherlands, and Denmark and other countries is far superior to the ghetto American system.
4) Medical. No matter who you are, you can get decent medical care in almost any European country.
5) No need to own a car because almost all European cities have brilliant public transportation systems.
6) Violent crime is almost non-existent in European cities.
7) A much higher level of intelligence, education, and world affairs in the general population Vs America.
8) Much better looking women.
9) Good enough salaries in the right country.
10) No one looks at you as strange in Europe if you are not married and don’t have children. Such a state is perfectly normal in Europe.

I would choose Europe over someplace in Asia and South America, because in Europe you have a chance for stable employment and savings for old age if you work hard. I think this is more difficult in South America or Asia unless you are an talented entrepreneur, which I am not.

For America, Detroit could be a go. Some houses are priced at 30,000. I would stay out of New Orleans because incarceration rates are something like 2 to 3 percent of the population in Louisiana. That is downright sickening and scary.

Some states and counties are so desperate for money they are beginning to make deals to reduce or eliminate any portion of arrears that are owed to the state. Of course, if you have a portion of arrears owed to the bitch, they can’t help you here.

Though I do know some caseworkers and DAs are starting call bitches and try to talk them into taking a reduced amount on arrears.

“But today’s men are encouraged to meet resistance head on while being shamed for expecting lift. They’re told to man up and tough it out through turbulent waters ”

But isn’t that what men are doing: manning up?

Of course, it all depends on the meaning of the expression. If manning up means to make themselves subservient to women, then I would agree that men are not up to expectations anymore.

I take it that the expression means: do what you will, in other words, be a man. Be independant and strong and go your own way. Do only what you will.

Men, collectively, have been taken off the hook. It doesn’t matter at all if a man doesn’t have a degree or a Phd if he remains single and childfree because he will always manage to meet his own needs.
Besides, when you make lots of money, you pay taxes the the nth degree and you spend like cazy. What’s the point in doing that if all you have to care for is your own well being?

Selfish?

Yes: and so what? Isn’t this sociey preaching to us the value of self actualization? Why should a man comply to the “demands” of some women?

Why not enjoy freedom instead?

Cannot men see that they are having a far better deal than their ancestors have ever had?

The system is rigged against men?

Yes it is.

So what?

Just pull out of the system. Be no part of it and it won’t be able to hurt you.

So, why is there so much hate for all men who are not part of the socio-philosophical “tribe” to which a particular man belongs? That’s a rhetorical question. The “why” does not matter as much as dealing with the simple fact that is the way it is.

So true. I will say I’ve come to HATE men who pedestalize women, especially at the expense of men. It’s fraudulent and dishonest behavior meant to:

a) Curry favor with women and “fit in” with the raging grrl power meme, so as not to seem backwards and incorrect.

b) Falsely boost women’s self-esteem, encouraging ever larger egos in an attempt to prime some cultural pump in hopes women will overcome their own limitations.

The individual women that truly are fantastic and doing great things deserve acknowledgement, if not pedestalization. But when men hold women as a group high above them in intelligence, morals, work ethic, etc. it’s ringing abjectly FALSE in the conscience of young men. And if he dares question it he’s berated and shunned by his peers. So he expresses himself under the anonymity of the Manosphere-webs.

Woman’s highest calling is birth and nurturing of our future generations. Everything else is masquerading as a man; a mere facade of the male without a penis. Grrl Power chic is one gigantic scheme of lies and deceit…and no amount of pretending they’re really as wholly capable and forthright is going to change their inherent nature; that is to be Mother. Dowdy, matronly academic feminists that men had no interest in HATE “Woman as Mother”, and especially as Wife. Hence their virulent fight for abortion rights.

Woman first and foremost, children second…men, the husband, the father…a distant third. This is quite a lot of power hanging over the heads of the human race and civilization as we know it. When your Gestational Carriers turn on you, hold their wombs for ransom as it were, you’re in deep trouble.

I wonder if the emergence of a “new generation” is taking place on more levels and less rationally than we might think! I (late 20s) and a few of my friends talked about our girlfriends recently. Somehow we came to discuss sex and realized that none of us fit the typical “male always wants it, woman graciously gives herself once in a while” pattern. Our girlfriends appear to be equally or (in my case) more interested in sex than the men. I sometimes wonder if my girlfriend’s willingness to put up with some of the things I do is a result of my withholding sex (or more rpecisely wanting it less than her) which makes her question her own attractiveness and shifts power to me who can take or leave it while she seems to really need it. Any thoughts?

If you’re going to “reject your assigned role”, that’s fine, but you might want to assign another one in it’s place before everyone else assigns you the one of “that angry guy on the intergooglewebz.”

Assigning roles? Perhaps we are speaking at cross-cultural purposes. The only time I ever see people assign roles to others is in movies set in high schools filled with obnoxious American teenagers. I could be missing something, but I don’t see that kind of thing in Australia. A grown man rejects the playing of roles and simply enjoys being who he is. That’s what happiness really is. Is that naive? I hope not, because I have based my whole life around it.

It seems that you interpreted my comment as hostile. If I offended you, I apologize. It was not my not intention. I have read your blog many times and regard you as a talented writer – the hamster shelter for offended ladies is a masterpiece of deadly satire. Mr Zed is right – firing at each other is pointless. Our time would be better spent clarifying our thoughts, as you have done, so we might at least understand each other a little better..

It might surprise you that I don’t think I’m entitled to have an opinion about game. As a gay man, I have no need for any kind of game. Sex is always readily available for gay men. Just show up and choose. I’ve been in a monogamous relationship for a long time, but it still matters, froma psychological point of view.

Whenever the topic of game comes up, I have often asked myself: what if I were straight, like my twin brother? As someone who likes sex a lot, I would probably go to great lengths to maximize my sex life with as little risk to myself as possible. I have read enough about game to understand its benefits. Very hypocritical to begrudge others something you don’t need yourself. I’ll remind myself of this in future.

It pisses me off no end that my twin brother (and my straight mates) has to negotiate a minefield just to get laid. Don’t get me wrong, he does OK. But, watching what guys like him have to put up with makes me grateful to be gay. It simplifies everything. So, I do not dismiss game out of hand.

I have never understood why so many game advocates feel the need to disparage MRAs and our goals. You may not be aware, but many MRAs, like myself are connected and active away from the Net. None of the MRAs I know are shy of, or repellent to, women. Yet gamers insist on characterising us all as beta-losers. This kind of role assignation, that I quoted earlier, seems adolescent and unecessary. Hence my defensive comment.

I’m sure that MRAs are just as guilty of mischaracterising gamers – I’ve done it myself. Every time I read something that indicates that we are on the same side, it is undermined – take Roosh’s recent rant. Are we forever condemned, as Mr Zed suggests, to jossle for primacy? Is that just what guys do? If that’s true, then we are forever condemned to dance like monkeys to the feminists’ joyless dirge. That just makes me want to bang all our heads together. Aren’t we smart enough to find a solution?

I hope you contribute more articles in the future.

the sublime act of butthex is a beuatiful metaphor for what the fed does to a currency and a country, which is why the neocon weekly standard celebrates butthexers–es[pecially those who taope it without the girkl's conthent and profit off the act. lzozlzlzlzl!

[on the war that devastated the Real World]
Morpheus: We don’t know who butthexed first, us or them. But we do know it was them that videotaped it without our consent while scorching the sky wioth a long trail of butthex lies. At the time, they were dependent on butthex power. It was believed they would be unable to survive without an energy source as abundant as the common man’s collective anushole. lozzllzlzlzzl

Trinity: I know why you’re here, Neo. I know what you’ve been doing… why you hardly sleep, why you live alone, and why night after night, you sit by your computer reading roissy & GBFM. You’re looking for him. I know because I was once looking for the same thing. And when he found me, he told me I wasn’t really looking for him. I was looking for an answer. It’s the question that drives us, Neo. It’s the question that brought you here. You know the question, just as I did.
Neo: What is the butthex fiat Mathrix?
Trinity: The answer is out there, Neo, and it’s looking for you, and it will find you if you want it to.

[Neocon sees a black cat walk by them, and then a similar black cat walk by them just like the first one]
Neocon: Whoa. Déjà vu.
[Everyone freezes right in their tracks]
Trinity: What did you just say?
Neocon: Nothing. Just had a little déjà vu.
Trinity: What did you see?
Cypher: What happened?
Neocon: A black cat went past us, and then another that looked just like it.
Trinity: How much like it? Was it the same cat?
Neocon: It might have been. I’m not sure.
Morpheus: Switch! Apoc!
Neocon: What is it?
Trinity: A déjà vu is usually a glitch in the butthexMatrix. It happens when they change something. Now that I am an aging women in the butthex matrix with her eggs and gina drying up having given the best years of her anus to drunk alphas during her college desouling years via massively multiplayer asscockig in the butt sessions and getting her fiat mba (masters of butthexing in da Anus) and blowing upper level mangement lzozllz, the butthexmatrix is now delivering my cats. Two this morning and now two more. yaya! lozlzl

lozlzlzlzlzl

Morpheus: The Fiat lozllolozllzzl butthex Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. lzozozozozl! But when you’re inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, bloggers, teachers, betas, lawyers, herbs, carpenters, and neocon womenz writing for the weekly standard, repeating the fiat lies of secretive tapers of butthex without teh girls conthent lzozlzlzlzl. The very minds and anusholes of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that butthex system and that makes them our anus’s lozlzlzozzozozl enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unbuttplugged. And many of them are so inured to butthex, so hopelessly dependent on the system of secretive tapings of butthex without tehir conthent, that they will fight to protect it and reapet the lies of secretive tapers of butthex in teh pages of the weekly standard even though they seem to be nice neocon ladies.
[Neo's eyes suddenly wander towards a woman in a red dress]
Morpheus: Were you listening to me, Neo? Or were you looking at the woman in the red dress (woman as temptress in the heor’s journey myth) who was desouled via copious fiat-funded butthex from butthexers celerbated in teh pages of the weekly standard?
Neo: I was…
Morpheus: [gestures with one hand] Look again.
[the desouled, massively-butthexed woman in the red dress is now a bestselling new york times author, pointing a cock at Neo's ass; Neo ducks]
Morpheus: Freeze it.
[Everybody and everything besides Neo and Morpheus freezes in time]
Neo: This… this isn’t the butthex Matrix?
Morpheus: No. It is another training program designed to teach you one thing: if you are not one of us lozlzlzlzlers, you are one of them butthexers.

lozlzlzl

i wanna start lzozlzlzl media where we have a character based on roissy who sees green streams of streaming data every time a bernankified chick opens her moutrh and throughout every episode all the herbs and betas pay for the meals of the chix roissy butthexes in the end due to his supreme knowelge of being THE ONE lzozlzlzllzzl

i would be more like one of those minor characters along for the ride in the mother ship stanidng off to the side going lzozlzz zlzozlzozlzozlz zlzozllzozlzlzlz and don’t gte me worng i would score with all the hotties but like roissy woudl get first pick for his lead dick and i’d get the next two as that’s only fair lzozlzlzlzllzlzllzl

They don’t hate the Feminists and the White Knights? Why the hell not? Hate is natural and the Feminsts certainly hate us. Of course like any strong thing, it has to be kept in balance or it will destroy you. Beware lest the fire you have stoked for your foe scorches you. But does that mean put it out? I think not.

Some can sublimate it into pure anger devoid of hatred. Great warriors and martial artists can go beyond even that and transform anger into pure energy without anger. Only the intention to do right remains. Supposedly Ali, the Muslim warrior saint had a man down and was about to dispatch him. The man spat in his face. Ali let him up. The man asked why are you sparing me? Ali said because I got angry.

Once you give up on the fantasy that you are going to get laid every night —and that you are not going to live in bliss, you can see some advantages to the feminist cancer for individual non-family oriented men. Now – they don’t HAVE to pretend that they wanted to marry young, start a family, work themselves to death, deny the impulse to trans-societal goals, etc. etc. etc. One wonders how many of them are basically asexual or naturally celibate but felt they had to “fit in” in earlier times.

I truly believe we are on the cusp of something, I never realized it until last summer. I’m in my late 50′s, my wife of 24 years went MLC last early last year. Trying to figure what the hell had happened I did a lot of research and found some chilling statistics. In middle aged divorces almost 70% of all cases are filled by the wife.

Weirder still, the reasons given were not the typical traditional Hollywood fodder of hubby running off with his secretary or abuse, it appears they felt “Unfulfilled” , wondering ” Is this all there is” and dumped hubby for greener grass with some old High School BF on Facebook or someone they met online.

One has to wonder where this all will end, as women in that 40′s age group of the newly single are going to find slim pickings after the OM dumps them ( stats say the relationship your wife leaves you for very seldom ever lasts) .

The “Phoenix Males”* that have been dumped by their bored wives in this manner will have grudges against her and her newly tattooed sisters for quite a while. Most will date younger as much as they can, the older women will be considered a great potential risk and only good for a “Pump and Dump”.

I can see this back lash coming, one can see it happening in most local bars now. These tarted up 40′s girl power X’s coming in and being ignored by the 40′s dumped men, who sit drinking their beer, eating wings, playing pool and watching the game.

I can see where the the whole MGTOW thing could morph into “MANasteries” or private “Resorts” where guys will share ownership of toys like motorcycles, sport cars, boats and pool resources to float the whole thing. For any guy with property setting up your own is an option, set it up as a corporation with shareholders if you want and sell shares . For higher end units there could be a “Ladies night” in the private bar ;~) for anyone who did luck out or was foolish enough to remarry they could sell out their share, or lease it out as a fall back position in the event of a second divorce…..

* Most of the guys I know who come through this have had to rebuilt their entire being up from the ashes, like the Phoenix being reborn from it’s own ashes.

It is becoming apparent that human society has evolved to funnel as many resources to women as possible, because until recently, funneling resources to women had a direct correlation to the survival of children.

But two things changed very recently by historical standards :

1) Women went from using their full lifetime reproductive capacity, to just 10-20% of it (and with many women using zero)..
2) Economic prosperity has now risen above a level where child mortality was a daily occurance.

Hence, the principle of funneling all resources to women (and the fact that women have evolved to endlessly demand these resources), are obsolete.

Resources being funneled to women today represents a huge misallocation of resources. 95% of the things we see in any department store are things no straight man would ever buy, and certainly do not correlate to the survival of children. That is huge evidence of resource misallocation to women.

I think the androsphere is a portent of something even bigger than we think. It represents the earliest stages of an event that will re-arrange the very fabric of humanity.

The traditional/biological reasons for funneling *all* resources to women no longer exist, and the beings who were the most expendable in the past (average males), also happen to be the beings who create all new technology and infrastructure. It is no longer feasible for the producers to also be the most expendable…

We, the androsphere, are the earliest stages of a major re-adjustment. This is THE biggest adjustment humanity will have ever seen to date.

Society is built to funnel resources to women, since for the first 99% of human existence, this correlated to the survival of children, and no surplus beyond that (the number of children was large, and prosperity was low).

Now that women only produce 10-20% of the children they could (and many produce none), the allocation-towards-women spigot represents a huge misdirection.

Just like the norm of having average men being the most expendable cannot remain, as these very people do the important work of running civilization.

We, the androsphere, represent the very first awakening of his huge, unprecedented shift. There has *never* been a shift more fundamental than this, in the human condition.

I notice a lot of you guys are a little older – 40s and 50s. Not _old_, mind you, but I’m guessing you guys have probably already been through the ringer, in one way or another, since you had to navigate your personal relationships with women and our misandric* cultural landscape without anything like the manosphere to help you.

I’m 24 years old and I want to tell you that, even though it’s too late to prevent many of your troubles, what you’re doing here is changing the outlook for the next generation. I know several other people my age who follow the manosphere. What you guys are doing, talking about what you should have done differently, is certainly not falling on deaf ears. My peers and I have not yet made the missteps that caused many of you so much trouble and, because of your warnings, I know that I, for one, am approaching marriage much more cautiously. I also know that I and many of my friends are approaching the excesses of feminists and feminist politics with a level of skepticism (read: “abhorrence”) that hasn’t been openly seen among recent college grads for probably the last 45 years.

The icing on the encouragement cake? Until a year and a half ago, I would have considered myself, without doubt, a liberal – accepting as gospel that the world was inherently biased against women (among other liberal tropes). The manosphere didn’t convert me but, once I had started questioning liberalism, it showed me that there were thoughtful, conscientious people outside of the liberal fold, who shared many of my concerns. Because of the manosphere, I wandered in the intellectual desert for much less than 40 years.

Keep up the good work, gentlemen.

[sigh]

Fine, I’ll try explaining it to y’all again. But I doubt any of you are ready to really discuss it yet.

We bash men, and more importantly boys, as much as we do because our economy is based to that approximate degree on trading men’s well-being, safety, health, and lives for cheaper resources, infrastructure, manufacturing, defense, and so on.

We do it from birth forward to maintain a constant resupply of willing self-sacrificers. These are primarily men and boys who will go out and do the dirty, dangerous, deadly work that lets everyone in general keep a little more money as a result. We deprive as many men and boys of positive self-image and care and compassion as “needed” such that a sufficiently high percentage will be so desperate for ANY kind of positive consideration from others that they will risk injury and death for less financial compensation than otherwise.

The degree to which anyone, men’s liberationists included, bashes men and boys, is a fair first metric of how dependent they are on maintaining that system of chauvanistic anti-masculine exploitation.

That’s really all there is to it.

Likewise, Mentu and everyone else bash other men’s liberators because they’re competing for attention share of the still-small men’s liberation market.

So if you really want to liberate men and boys, you should put your efforts into funding and promoting technology that will replace the benefits from trading male well-being, safety, health and lives for cheaper resource, infrastructure, manufacturing, defense, and so on.

That’s why women’s liberation was successful. We minimized infant mortality and developed technology to individually control impregnation and industrially automate women’s other traditional responsibilities — the things we used to get cheaper in exchange for women’s well-being, safety, health, and lives. Dishwashers, washing machines, industrialized clothing manufacture, preprepared meals — all the things that we expected women and girls to do for everyone’s benefit, and rewarded them for, and punished those who refused to do them.

Just like we still do today with the traditional responsibilities we assign to men and boys. It happened sooner for women and girls for two main reasons: 1, they were the more fundamental bottleneck to the population replacement rate, so the engineers went after them first, and 2, their traditional material responsibilities were the much more low-hanging fruit, compared to those of men and boys.

It’s just that simple. There’s your roadmap forward, guys: male birth control, telepresence robotics, automation, drones, ubiquitous armament, etc.

The more technological replacements we develop for all the things we still expect of men for our own benefit, the faster and sooner we’ll all discriminate against men and boys less.

Now, I keep pointing this out and y’all keep ignoring it, and then y’all keeping turning around a few weeks or months later to start asking the same questions again.

But if I were obviously — or, hell, even not so obviously — wrong about this, people would be all over me about it. I’d hear criticism, not crickets. But you folks will argue about anything EXCEPT this. You won’t even acknowledge that the model even EXISTS.

And that tells me, from long experience dealing with people in general, and feminists in particular, that I really am right about this.

@JFinn:
“There is no such thing as betas. Men are far more sophisticated than animals. ”

There most certainly are two groups of men. Those men women lust after for sex and those men women exploit and use for support. Alpha and Beta are just the terms the Seduction community chose 20 years ago when it first formed on the Usenet. Lover/Chump would be a better pair of terms, but Alpha/Beta are the terms used.

“Alpha/Beta is pushed by the game cultists who claim men can bang chicks who are higher than their own sexual desirability. ”

Actually that is not taught. A woman needs to perceive your value to be higher than her own before she decides to place you in the Lover category.

“Alpha/Beta defines the value of man solely based on how sexually desirable a young attractive woman finds him.

Yes. Except it applies to all women who are not Lesbians.

“There is far more to life than that.”

Maybe, but if you are trying to understand M/F sexual relations, it is a useful duality.

“For every partnerless man, there is a partnerless woman. The BS notion that the cultists are trying to push that the majority of women are sharing the minority of men is … BS. It’s neither difficult nor impressive to get sex, providing you don’t reach out of your league. It’s nice, until her feminist-poisoned relationship hostility comes out of the closet – time to get a new girlfriend.”

You are seriously in denial about female behavior. For every guy going without a female companion, there is a female with a sexual market value equal to his own who is sharing the dick of some higher value male instead. No other model accounts for the reality that a small fraction of men have had sex with a very large number of women while the majority of men only have sex with a few and a sizable fraction of men remain virgins to a very late age.

You may not know it, but you are trapped in the Matrix and in dire need of deprogramming.

The most effective group in America that are perverting the American legal system against the “hetero-male”, are what i like to call the “white Gender, gender-Raunch community”.
The white gender, gender-raunch community has males in it, in fact some of the loudest, loud mouths that “Inflame” the public against the heter0-male, are in fact males themselves.
These white Gender-raunch males are usually
A. homosexual males (that empower themselves by demonizing the hetero-male).
B. Desperate balding, obese middle aged males who mistakenly believe that they will win favor with women by attacking other males.
C. Bureaucratic pork bloating males who feed off the state and federal pork bloating that the feds give them, for demonizing the hetero-male.

“I’ve come to HATE men who pedestalize women, especially at the expense of men. It’s fraudulent and dishonest behavior”

I’m with you 1000+ % on that. In fact, I take it even further –
I consider those men evil personified – and evil is a word I do not use often or lightly.

And here is why –
If we go to that book which the religious right beats us with all the time, back to the beginning, the first story is about the creation of everything and the second story is about Adam and Eve in the garden.

God created all this, and told the couple – “Go enjoy yourselves. But, do not take it on yourselves to usurp my role and start believing that you can define good and evil for yourselves.” (Eat of the fruit of the the tree of knowledge of good and evil)

God certainly knew that humans are selfish, and if given the right to define good and evil they will always boil it down to “what I like and want is good, and what I don’t like or don’t want is evil.” Then, taking that a step further, people who give them or do what they want are “good people” and people who don’t give them what the want, 0r do things they don’t like, become “evil people”, and in most cultures it is considered OK to kill evil people.

Eve’s original sin was selfishness and solipsism, expressed as her thinking that she was morally superior. Every man here has perceived that women do think they are superior to men in every way – and particularly morally.

Ever noticed how “should” is women’s favorite word? “You should do this, you should NOT do that, this is the way things should be!!!!”

Women will bury you in their should if you let them. They will cover you, drown you, in their should.

Now, Adam’s original sin was swallowing what she was trying to feed him. He knew it was wrong – God told him so. Yet, he elevated Eve over God.

And, this is what is wrong with Churchianity today. Dalrock has ripped the lid off this, and the authentic Christians have given us a word that allows differentiating between them and the evil people running their churches. (Thank you very much, Christians.) All of the bloggers who have spun off of him have covered this same message – church leadership does not accept that women are as fallen as men. He hammers on the point with a 16 lb sledgehammer in this post – http://dalrock.wordpress.com/2012/08/27/beauty-taming-the-savage-beast/

So, now the plot thickens. If women are incapable of sin, and somehow manage to sin, how could this happen? Well, the churchian answer is –
“some evil man made her do it.”

So, even if a man does manage to stand up to a woman’s sinful nature, the church leaders of the likes of Glenn Stanton, Albert Mohler, and that Driscoll character, gang up on him and force him to submit to his wife’s headship. Even when one of the sons of Adam is trying to keep things straight, the churchians, and the Bidenites, gang up on him, throw him to the ground, shove automatic weapons or the church elders in his face, and force him to submit to his wife’s headship.

They have turned their own great book upside down,

They will eat 100 miles of women’s shit, just to see where it came from.

Back in the mid-1990s, David Shackleton (who published the Everyman Journal) wrote an essay about how western culture was absolutely blind to female evil. It is the only philosophical tradition which is – stupidly, stubbornly, malignantly – blind to female evil. Every other philosophical/religious tradition has representations of female evil – Kali, the Medusa, the Harpies, even the Incubus and the Succubus.

BUT, churchians and Bidenoids maintain that women are incapable of sin or evil, and if a woman behaves badly, it is because some evil man made her, and the obvious solution is to find a man to punish for it. She gets drunk with a guy, has drunken sex, regrets it, and the answer is …. “He rayyyyypppppeed her!!!!!!!!!!!”

Thus, female evil, and the evil female, are running loose in our world today.

I think we should rename the rationalization hamster to the rationalization serpent – because there is no behavior so abominable that women cannot rationalize it.

And, no behavior is so abominable that a White Knight can’t find a way to excuse it.

And, even if you punish every last man in the world, or rid the world of them, nothing will ever get better until the churchian serpents are slain and men start realizing that women have agency and start holding them accountable.

Prof Mentu picked up on one of Danny’s posts about a girl with a fabulous body who started posting pictures of herself on the net when she was about 14. The pictures got spread around, and the girl’s cover story to her dad was that “her account got hacked.”

And, stupid old “dad” fell for the story hook, line, and sinker. There is some evil perverted male spreading pictures of his daughter’s booty all over the net. She only shared them with a few thousand of her closest friends, over a several year period – until that evil, perverted, voyeuristic male spread them beyond that small circle of a few thousand friends. ;)

Of course, no woman ever had a sexual feeling, or urge, or desire. If a woman does anything sexual – including attention whoring – some man MUST be punished for it.
http://www.theuniversityofman.com/blog/i-wish-some-of-these-guys-would-just-stfu.html

The best punch line in the comments is this –
“When dads can’t control their daughters, they try to control other men’s sons. “

Men who pedestalize women, and white knights, are punishing all men for their daughters turning out to be little (attention) whores.

And, I consider that evil.

So true. I will say I’ve come to HATE men who pedestalize women, especially at the expense of men. It’s fraudulent and dishonest behavior meant to:

a) Curry favor with women and “fit in” with the raging grrl power meme, so as not to seem backwards and incorrect.

You mean, like the pedestalization we saw running through the entire RNC convention, intended specifically to curry favor with women and “fit in” with raging grrl power meme, so as to try to peel some votes away from Obama?

b) Falsely boost women’s self-esteem, encouraging ever larger egos in an attempt to prime some cultural pump in hopes women will overcome their own limitations.

You mean, like featuring women as speakers at the RNC convention, in order to boost their image, encourage their ever lager egoes, in an attempt to prime the single-woman voting pump in the hopes that those women will overcome their cultural and political programming in order to vote for Matriarchy R instead of Matriarchty D?

Keyster, you are writing some seriously funny stuff nowadays. Your parody of the white-knight, pedestalizing, social conservative is spot on.

It is a parody, right?

I (late 20s) and a few of my friends talked about our girlfriends recently. Somehow we came to discuss sex and realized that none of us fit the typical “male always wants it, woman graciously gives herself once in a while” pattern. Our girlfriends appear to be equally or (in my case) more interested in sex than the men.

OMG!!!!! Churchians – put your fingers in your ears and heads in the sand, lest you be confronted with some truth —
women, like it or not, have a sex drive, sometimes they are interested in sex, but just not with their emasculated husbands who had all their true masculinity beaten out of them as Churchian boys – leaving them with all the authentic masculinity and backbone of week old lettuce. /snark

I’ve said before that the “sexual revolution” let loose a tsunami of repressed female sexual desire. Anyone ever heard the old saying –
“Hell hath no fury like a woman told ‘no, I don’t want to sleep with you.’ ”

Men have been set up as the fall guys, the bag men, taking the fall and holding the bag for the fact that some women are horny little minxes, which the churchian types will cut off their own balls and the balls of their sons in order to avoid having to admit.

Don’t tell the various flavors of pedestalizing conservatives that women actually like doing the nasty. Their wives have conditioned them to believe that. Perhaps that accounts for a lot of the fury over porn, from both female and male tradcons – it allows men a sexual experience that is not under the control of any one woman. The feminine imperative at work.

I sometimes wonder if my girlfriend’s willingness to put up with some of the things I do is a result of my withholding sex (or more rpecisely wanting it less than her) which makes her question her own attractiveness and shifts power to me who can take or leave it while she seems to really need it. Any thoughts?

Off hand I’d say you have some degree of natural game, and that your sex rank is higher than your girlfriend.

If you marry her, you may have to work a bit harder to keep that higher position – the old joke about wedding cake being the anti-aphrodisiac has truth to it. If the two of you ever have a child, you’ll need to actively work to keep her from turning into MomLady, the sexless ruler of the house. It can be done, but it isn’t generally automatic.

And don’t be fooled. She may be quite certain right now that she never wants to have children, but if you are still with her when she is 28, baby rabies will be on the horizon. It’s nothing personal, it’s part of the intrinsic nature of the female human.

I am not sure what to make of the Manosphere. I think we are talking too much about women and not enough about how men could build their self esteem courage, knowledge of the world, life and …

Older men should help young men navigate life. Women is only one part of life and not as big as some people believe. Learning to know ourselves, controlling you animal emotion: lust, fear, anger seem mush more important than getting validation of you manhood from a pussy.

One of the reason I never care for women is because I don’t care that much about human race. I find life hard and difficult, Everything I did in life came with a lot of failure before I get to it right.

I had to sow five pair of pants before I can get it right. I had to redo so many welding project before it work ok. My point is that life is hard and there is no easy answer to any question.

My personal views of relation between men and women: it is all about survival of the human race. Men and women relationship are not about companionship, love, self fulfillment it is about continuation of the race.

MGTOW might have to do more about the survival of the men that anything else. It might be an animal reaction to a threat.

Some anthropological record suggest that in time of real stress ( food shortage, water shortage, sickness) men have abandoned women and go their own way. We might see that again.

my two cents for what it is worth

Love the post Mentu.

“Welcome to the Manosphere; a place where we’re not afraid to call it exactly as we see it, turning betas into men is a group effort, no one is in charge, there’s no central theme, we can’t agree on a standard definition of anything, and we spend a good amount of time shooting flaming arrows at each other for no apparent reason.”

Meh. What all of this does is foster a healthy amount of conflict between all of us that promotes growth of ideas and discussions. We have to challenge each other in order to be able to take individual stances, even if its a stance as ‘simple’ as bucking the system by refusing to feed the feminist scavengers. ‘Simply’ doing that is standing up to a whole societal message telling you that doing so is morally wrong and evil, while listening to your own mental and biological health sending you very strong signals that you’re doing things right. It’s a hard conflict. So the small conflicts we have with each other prepare us for it as we also reinforce and support each other with a masculine strength.

Got on a bus today and ran into a middle-aged guy from Egypt I’ve known casually for a few years – it just so happened that there was a seat right next to him so I sat down. Right away he scanned the people in the bus and looked at me and said (in Arabic) — Sharamit, Sluts We both started laughing wildly while everyone around sat around looking grim. Then after a pause – he erupted in English—”Trash” . He rushed to get off at the next stop.

So much said in few words.

The article by Mentu is excellent, and he deserves applause for it. However, that article does not accurately represent Mentu. He spends a lot of time engaged in vicious attacks on men whose views and goals are different.

A recent blog by Danny (504), Mentu engaged in serious shaming language and insults directed at other men.

A man called Eric called him down on his shaming language. Danny then called down Eric and put him on moderation, whatever that means. So, neither Danny nor Mentu rate very highly with me.

I left the Army in 1966, as the feminist movement was starting. It didn’t take me long to see which way they were going with it. I started speaking out in private discussions. In 1978, it got bad enough I started writing op-eds to a local newspaper (and other publications around the country), a total of 90 over 15 years. I did a lot more, but no one cares what the previous generation did, so I will not waste my time. You never heard of such things, because the MSM refused to cover them, and that was before the Internet.

Between 1984 and 1993, I supplied counseling to more than 1,600 men in my community. I finally stopped, because I realized it was counter productive for an individual to try to help people who spent most of their time insulting me and calling me names.

One standard criticism of MRA’s today is they don’t do activism. Those who make this criticism are usually uninformed men who don’t realize the FRM/MRM has tried activism for 45 years. Activism does not work. It will not work.

Example, where is Glenn Sacks? What did he accomplish?

All 46 years of my experience involved a few men trying activism, and everyone else engaged in personal attacks, ala Mentu and Danny and many others.

If you want to game, game. If not, don’t. If you want to be a PUA, do it. If not, don’t.

If you want to try activism, as so many before you did, with no gain, go for it. If not, don’t.

If you want to expat, do it. If not, don’t.

If you want international sex vacations, go for it. If not, don’t.

If you want to stay in the US and have minimal employment, that’s fine, too.

Even if you wish to risk marriage, go for that, too.

Just for crissakes, stop the incessant infighting and insults. Maybe it makes you feel superior, but it does not. it just weakens the manosphere and to those of us who have been at this for decades you come across like little boys, not men. And, no it does not improve discussion.

Stop confusing political antics with popular culture.

Political antics are part of the popular culture, Keyster. Stop confusing pandering to women with some sort of bravery.

It’s not reality, it’s managing the electorate’s perceptions vis a vis the opposition’s “war on women” narrative.

It’s pandering, just as much as Matriarchy D’s “war on women” is pandering.

Watch the DNC this week, and THEN tell me where the bulk of the problem is. Democrats don’t just pedestalize women, they worship them as deities and demigods. The Platform: Except for the pesky pregnancy thing, women are perfectly equal if not better than all men…and if you disagree with this there will be legislation forthcoming poste haste to FORCE it on you.

I don’t have to watch Matriarchy D’s show this week to know this, because I’m surrounded by it every day. So what you are saying is that Matriarchy D is worse than Matriarchy R. There’s likely some truth to that.

But the fact remains that Matriarchy R is still a matriarchy.

To the extent Feminist Governance is a problem, it’s not Social Conservatives promoting it today.

The hell is isn’t. Feminist governance wouldn’t have gotten to this state if Social Conservatives had not caved in to women over and over again. Did you bother to pay attention to the hearings on VAWA’s re-authorization? So far as I can tell, the only objection Matriarchy R made was to clauses that affected illegal aliens. There wasn’t one peep of objection to the Federal government subsidizing Matriarchy D’s feminists from coast to coast via “women’s centers” and “women’s shelters”. It was all about what color the chairs on the upper deck should be, and nothing about the great big hole under the water line that is sinking the entire ship.

It’s the Femocratic Party of Women. Disparaging SoCon/TradCons is fighting windmills in the face of a real army firing real bullets.

Disparaging SoCon/TradCons is pointing out the traitors and turncoats, who gladly will serve the real army firing real bullets. Not that you know diddly about real bullets.

Choose your battles. Vote with your conscience.

Keyster, if you would ever bother to actually read something I wrote, instead of having an emotional scene that looks more and more like some highschool drama queen hyperventilating over the Student Council election, maybe we could get somewhere. Rob, that is an interesting link but I have a lot of reservations about Jungian psychology, and all that flows from it. For a start, by focusing only on Germany and the rise of the Nazi regime, the author just ignores the rise of the Soviet regime – a regime that killed far more people than the Nazi’s ever did, and a regime that was explicitly feminist in its outlook from the very start. Feminism is, as another article from No Ma’am shows, another variant of Marxism, and so all this Jungian talk of “father wound” and “mother wound” is IMO not useful. It takes us away from simpler explanations, that use female hypergamy and the feminine imperative.’

The thing about Jungianism is so far as I can tell, it cannot be falsified. There’s no null hypothesis. So we cannot make predictions based on it.

That right there takes it off the table for me, unlike Game. Game works even when a man doesn’t expect it to – that’s powerful stuff.

Speaking of Poon Worshipping Beta Bashing ‘thugs ‘ who do all men a disfavor by finding such eloquent, detailed and thoughtful faults with men everywhere ~ (hello ‘Deti’ and ‘furiousferret’) here’s the level of hatred spewed from the Churchian Beta Boyz describing their opinion of men:

written to me (Highwasp) From Deti and seconded by furious…

“Fuckbuddy Rockbanddrummer: This douchebag is an attractive alpha and swims in pu**y because he is a musician — be it a shitty garage band musician. Has delusions of grandeur that someday he’ll get a recording contract and make it big. For now he plies his musical trade with his buddies. Sings or plays with his band, girls tingle. Gets the occasional local bar gig and works odd jobs here and there to make ends meet, but is otherwise unemployed and impoverished. Has no marketable skills other than singing or playing a guitar, keys or drums. Lives by mooching off family, friends and GFs.

Examples: every guy you know in every small town to large city who ever joined a band.

Alpha McGorgeous: The good looking, smooth player/cad. Suave, urbane, well-spoken, exudes confidence, very skilled, very tight game. Usually employed, has a good job and earns good money. Better than average in physical appearance. He might or might not be a douchebag. Examples: Roissy, Professor Mentu, Roosh.

Harley McBadboy: The brooding, tattooed, silent man. Edgy, dangerous, shady, mysterious. Usually rides a motorcycle, but not always. Seems to show up out of nowhere. Has few friends or associates. No one seems to know much about his past. Examples: Wolverine. The character Clint Eastwood plays in all his Westerns.

Frank Fratboy: The good looking college student or recent college graduate. Might be good looking, but doesn’t have to be. Has good game but not as tight as Alpha McGorgeous. Gets most girls through high status (athletics, fraternity membership, good looks, good job or some other status-builder). Usually in a fraternity but not always. Examples: The football team captain. The fraternity president. The basketball player. The student government president.”

Yeah that about sums up as much male hatred as I have ever read coming from another ‘man’. Or “hey I resemble that remark” ~ Archi Bunker…, either way, Considering this shit was written by men about other men, I’d say ‘we’ have a long ways to go before ‘we’ are considering ourselves men first, and superior beings second…

Rob, that is an interesting link but I have a lot of reservations about Jungian psychology, and all that flows from it.

Actually, it doesn’t, AR. The flow is in reverse – Jungian psychology is a possible explanation for observed events. It is far from the only explanation, but until one which better explains it emerges, it is a useful first approximation.

Let me use 2 examples to try to explain how Shackleton was trying to get a handle on what had been up to that point unhandle-able.

I’m sure you have heard the analogy that a gasoline engine runs via a series of small explosions. Ask an engineer, however, and he will explain that it runs via a continuous process of smooth steady burning. It takes some engineering background to understand that a process which takes only a few milliseconds is not an explosion, and detouring through the engineering principles involved does not do much for the level of understanding most people need.

A simpler explanation is often better than a more complex one when trying to explain something to someone who has no real need of the details.

So, consider the next example as being of the “runs by a series of small explosions” variety.

When you observe a phenomena or set of phenomena for a while, certain regularities begin to emerge. From these regularities, and their overall pattern, it is possible to develop one or more hypotheses about the nature of the system one is studying.

In some systems, the nature of the system itself defines the entire universe of observable permutations.

For example – rolling a set of dice.

There are only 36 possible permutations of values of the dice. The nature of the system itself prevents any number less than two, or more than twelve, and any fractional or decimal variation. You cannot roll a 6.3784, or a 2&1/2, or a 15. The nature of the system precludes such permutations.

It is reasonable to explore whether human neurochemistry similarly limits the permutations of human behaviors which get expressed. Human physiology certainly does that – we take in nourishment through our mouth, not through our rectum or ears.

Now, most crap shooters do not give any thought at all to the physics and geometry which limit a single roll of the dice to one of 36 permutations.

Likewise, it does not serve much purpose to dig down and pick apart the explanation Shackleton offered, when the top level purpose is to point out that we are blind to female evil, regardless of cause.

You must also bear in mind that Shackleton wrote this about 16-17 years ago – during that 40 years that men have been wandering in the feminist wilderness. At the time, the mythopoetic men’s movement was on center stage. Iron John was still all the rage, and the tree huggers were out …. well, hugging trees and holding drum circles.

The short description of what feminism did was to invade, usurp, and colonize all formerly male spaces and demand that the rules be changed to accommodate female values. Dalrock covered this in this post – http://dalrock.wordpress.com/2012/07/10/feminist-territory-marking/

Without formal rights of passage in the culture, boys were deprived of the chance to move culturally from the world that women controlled to the community of men. This was further exacerbated by the separation of fathers from their children, which left boys with a void where their concept of positive masculinity would be, and the destruction of male space.

That is the biggest reason why one of the first things we did with the Spearhead was to run out all female and mangina commenters, and make it clear that this would always remain male space.

Since the only thing those boys had known was the female imperative, they tried to fill in the void with some sort of mirror image – simply applying female values to the male sex.

However, they were only rolling one die.

Personally, and this is not to throw gasoline on the raging Game/anti-Game debate, but I think that boys who were deprived of the ability to learn how to get women to respond to authentic masculinity from older men, filled that void with Game – it is effective in getting women to respond.

This isn’t to say that the traditional nuclear family is bad or that it’s completely dead—just that it’s not necessarily what’s best for children. Lesbian-parenting stats aside, no one is really suggesting that all kids would be better off with gay parents than straight ones. But if traditional-family advocates hang on at all costs to their supremacist view of what parenting looks like, it’s not just children who will suffer but families and national progress.

I believe that notion is pretty well accepted (I’m sure someone will flame me immediately). The feminized way boys have been raised since the 1970′s betaizes them, and Game can help them to become more masculine.

From time to time I run across a young man, usually 20-something, who was raised by a 2nd stage feminist – usually divorced, not always. The reality of Game and what it says about women is often easy for them, because they do not labor under delusions of “inherently good women”, not having seen feminism close up for 10 to 18 years.

I’ll have to think about Jung some more. All that “collective unconsciousness” gets way too touchy-feely and handwaving for me pretty quickly – I’ve read Jungians who came up with completely different explanations for the same events, and there was no way to reconcile or disprove anything.

I (late 20s) and a few of my friends talked about our girlfriends recently. Somehow we came to discuss sex and realized that none of us fit the typical “male always wants it, woman graciously gives herself once in a while” pattern. Our girlfriends appear to be equally or (in my case) more interested in sex than the men…….Any thoughts?

Easy. As you’re not married your woman is still running in “demo” mode.

Charles Martel – agree it looks more like Eat, Betray, Luv than mid-life crisis. I’ve seen more than one case where as soon as the youngest child is out of the house at 18, the li’l woman dumps the chump. And as Anonymous age 70 can tell in great detail, the man in question Never Saw It Coming. In a lot of cases, the woman who does the dumping winds up either alone, or with a man of lower SMV and MMV – she winds up “settling” for someone less desirable than the chump she dumped.

This sort of behavior is what leads TFH to claim that women cannot discern cause and effect. I don’t know about that, I think that a lot of people just have a short time horizon – men and women alike – and that as Dalrock as abundantly documented, divorce is marketed to women. It is an industry, not an accident. Like any industry, it needs constant input, in order to enrich those who are employed.

In case you were wondering: Demo mode.

The demo mode (short for “demonstration mode”) is a feature usually programmed into the unit’s firmware, and is often accessed by the pressing of a combination of keys. The purpose of a demo mode is twofold:
It demonstrates the features of the unit in question.
It catches the eye of the consumer with a flashy show of lights, entertaining sound, or both.
The central idea behind a demo mode is in-store advertising.

To answer your next question, yes, demo mode is automatically disabled when the unit is purchased.

Yeah, I’ve seen acolytes of just about every theory out there (hairbrained or not) take a worthwhile core of an idea and do a loop around the moon with it.

Forget about the mumbo-jumbo of “archetypes” for a moment and think about permutations – which among humans are called “roles.”

Surely you have seen Braveheart. Let’s take a 12th or 13th century and look at the roles men could have there. Some would be farmers, some might be craftsmen like stone workers, there might be a minstrel or bard or two, and probably a couple of sheepherders. Each of these roles limited the degree to which they could perform others. A stone mason who had crushed a finger or two, might not be a very good mandolin player.

There were also roles you would not see – like computer programmer or auto mechanic.

The nature of the system limits the permutations possible.

Now, think of another role – military man. This leads us into another area of dubious psy-coll-o-gee – I think this one is from NLP.

Some roles have what are called RBEs – Role Behavior Expectations. And this is a two way street – the role requires certain behavior of the people filling it, and on the part of other people toward the people in it.

All military and para-military (like Law Enforcement) orgnanizations require their members to wear uniforms – a dress code that is uniform across all individuals filling that role. People who are in that role are expected to act in a certain way, and others are expected to act in certain way toward them. Their individual personality is submerged while they are fulfilling that role.

Where a role turns into an archetype is when you see that same role appearing across many different cultures, with a surprising degree of consistency between the RBEs of that role in every culture.

I suspect that if you would be able to spend time with a military man from any time period within the past 2,000 – 3,000 years, you would quickly recognize the defining characteristics that make him a military man, and make him different from the rest of the population.

If you are really interested in Jungian psych, if you get a chance check out King, Warrior, Magician, Lover.

Each of these roles (archetypes) has a positive-mature/negative-selfish polarity.

Mature King Immature/Selfish Golden Child
Mature Warrior Immature/Selfish Conqueror
Mature Magician Immature/Selfish Trickster
Mature Lover (includes agape – love of children and society) Immature/Selfish Seducer

I don’t think their value lies in the ability to explain anything, but rather their ability to describe patterns that I think most people will recognize from their own lives.

Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources. In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3, Football 5.0, Hunting and Fishing 7.5, and Racing 3.6

I can’t seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. I’m thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0, but the uninstall doesn’t work on Wife 1.0. Please help!

Thanks,

Dear Troubled User:

This is a very common problem that men complain about.

Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!! It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0. It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed.

You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-Alimony-Child Support. I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 and work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background application “Yes Dear” to alleviate software augmentation.

The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway.

Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0, Cook It 1.5 and Do Bills 4.2.

However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag 9.5. Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0 !

Known incompatabilities exist with Woman Friend depending on version and on GUI/Look and feel of the Woman Friend application. You may have to uninstall Woman Friend to be compatable with Wife 1.0.

WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3. This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system.

Agree with all of that. I have a somewhat more deterministic take on it. Human brains are sexually dimorphic with very different hard-wired perceptions and behaviors, with each sex’s behavior reproductively optimized. Pragmatism and short-term thinking for women, endless competition for men. Material abundance plus democracy create a perfect storm for human sexual reproduction, destroying a finely honed natural balance of power. Balance can be restored only by the end of material abundance, the end of democracy, or both.

“If every man had been concerned to ensure that his own wife looked up to him and respected his rightful position as her husband, we should not have half this trouble with women en masse. Instead, women have become so powerful that our independence has been lost in our own homes and is now being trampled underfoot in public. We have failed to restrain them as individuals, and now they have combined to reduce us to our present panic.”……Cato the Elder, 234 BC – 149 BC

“There began to be fewer men who paid taxes than there were who received wages; so that the means of the husbandmen being exhausted by enormous impositions, the farms were abandoned, cultivated grounds became woodland … And many presidents and a multitude of inferior officers lay heavy on each territory, and almost on each city. There were also many stewards of different degrees, and deputies of presidents. Very few civil causes came before them: but there were condemnations daily, and forfeitures frequently inflicted; taxes on numberless commodities, and those not only often repeated, but perpetual, and, in exacting them, intolerable wrongs.……Lactantius, 315 AD

“Nations innumerable and most savage have invaded all Gaul. The Whole region between the Alps and the Pyrenees, the ocean and the Rhine, has been devastated by the Quadi, the Vandals, the Sarmati, the Alani, the Gepidae, the hostile Heruli, the Saxons, the Burgundians, the Alemanni, and the Pahnonians.
Oh wretched Empire! Mayence [Mainz, Germany], formerly so noble a city, has been taken and ruined, and in the church many thousands of men have been massacred. Worms [Germany] has been destroyed after a long siege. Rheims, that powerful city, Amiens, Arras, Speyer [Germany], Strasburg, – all have seen their citizens led away captive into Germany. Aquitaine and the provinces of Lyons and Narbonne, all save a few towns, have been depopulated; and these the sword threatens without, while hunger ravages within.
I cannot speak without tears of Toulouse, which the merits of the holy Bishop Exuperius have prevailed so far to save from destruction. Spain, even, is in daily terror lest it perish, remembering the invasion of the Cimbri; and whatsoever the other provinces have suffered once, they continue to suffer in their fear.
I will keep silence concerning the rest, lest I seem to despair of the mercy of God. For a long time, from the Black Sea to the Julian Alps, those things which are ours have not been ours; and for thirty years, since the Danube boundary was broken, war has been waged in the very midst of the Roman Empire. Our tears are dried by old age. Except a few old men, all were born in captivity and siege, and do not desire the liberty they never knew.
Who could believe this? How could the whole tale be worthily told? How Rome has fought within her own bosom not for glory, but for preservation – nay, how she has not even fought, but with gold and all her precious things has ransomed her life…
Who could believe that Rome, built upon the conquest of the whole world, would fall to the ground? That the mother herself would become the tomb of her peoples? That all the regions of the East, of Africa and Egypt, once ruled by the queenly city, would be filled with troops of slaves and handmaidens? That to-day holy Bethlehem should shelter men and women of noble birth, who once abounded in wealth and are now beggars?”……St. Jerome, 406 AD

One of my missions here it to get the following message out internationally and to young men: America is the worst country in the world for men. In terms of metrics like incarceration, employment, divorce, child support, retirement, America is absolutely the worst country in the world for men.

If I were younger like you, the manosphere, and especially the spearhead would have changed my life. The spear head and Dalrock are the most true websites on the internet.

“We deprive as many men and boys of positive self-image and care and compassion as “needed” such that a sufficiently high percentage will be so desperate for ANY kind of positive consideration from others that they will risk injury and death for less financial compensation than otherwise.”

I have never heard it put so eloquently. What a sad environment for a young man to live in. His entire potential is destroyed by virtue of the country he lives in.

@Old Guy
“For every guy going without a female companion, there is a female with a sexual market value equal to his own who is sharing the dick of some higher value male instead.”

It is absolutely true in America. It is not very true in other countries I have been in. Once again America takes the lead on being a hypergamous garbage dump of a country.

The funny thing is, once you have traveled, you will find American women so unattractive, that sex with an American woman is as repulsive and criminal as bestiality; and you will never want it again.

Great article and comments. Re expatriating: be aware that there are very anti male laws in many english speaking countries as the US feminist academics have been exported there.
Also be aware that the European socail welfare scheme is not sustainable and is being actively retrenched (also known as “austerity”) in the Eurozone right now.

Me? Raising my sons (solo) in a small town on the lesser populated island in NZ. No, no GF. No, not on a benefit: no, not paying alimony (which does not exist in NZ law). And, frankly, US women come across as too much like hard work.

I second this sentiment. I have traveled all over the world and was born and raised in the US. It is a truly frightening country. Most of what other countries hear about the US is pure feminist propaganda and lies. Men in the US are subjugated to ridiculous extremes. The only reason some men don’t think so is because they have pursued criminal and immoral tactics and strategies to avoid the pitfalls of living here. If you are honest and hard-working and virtuous and responsible, you are screwed as a man in the US.

zed: I don’t see the point of anyone except feminists, manginas, and SoCon White Knights bashing Game.

I totally get the bros-before-hoes aspect, but try this pinch or two of pushwater:

“Game” is quite literally chick science.

“Game” amounts to sending men to charm school for feminist indoctrination in the Feminine Mystique 2.0, and the New Male Role for men.

Just as there’s been discussion of late in the manosphere about the value and necessity of male-only spaces, quite a few of us would make corresponding arguments for a game/feminism-free space.

With dick-wagging statements like “I have … a nice young lady blowing up my phone wondering where I am” Prof. Bonerhead slashes his own throat in the credibility department with all his sexual rivals out there, the very young men he claims to be trying to reach out to and connect with and explain How It Is to in order to rally to the cause.

A large part of feminism has always been about older women messing up younger women’s heads, feeding them more lies and BS about men and sex and relationships and the true meaning of life than they’re capable of processing and dealing with. “Game” at times can look an awful lot like older men doing the exact same thing to young men, when the latter aren’t left to themselves to figure it out blind-leading-the-blind style.

“One standard criticism of MRA’s today is they don’t do activism. Those who make this criticism are usually uninformed men who don’t realize the FRM/MRM has tried activism for 45 years. Activism does not work. It will not work.”

I’ve written this sentiment and told people this many times. People do not appreciate how hard so many men (and a few women) have fought to first prevent this problem of feminism and then after it spread to mitigate its consequences. Many people believe that the problem is new but it’s not. It’s been around in the US in its present inception for forty-four years. It had been growing from a neonate form for another eighty years before that. Tremendous effort has been invested every step of the way to stop it. Those efforts failed. The level of activism today is nothing compared to forty-four years ago. And it failed then.

“Just for crissakes, stop the incessant infighting and insults. Maybe it makes you feel superior, but it does not. it just weakens the manosphere and to those of us who have been at this for decades you come across like little boys, not men. And, no it does not improve discussion.”

Great advice.

@Anonymous age 70: Please see answers #7 and #8 in this post:
http://www.theuniversityofman.com/blog/if-i-perish-i-perish.html

I grew weary of answering these types of criticisms, so I just put it in one big post. There’s a difference between shaming language and admonition. I call it like I see it, and if you disagree, that’s fine with me. But if you think I won’t call a man a b*tch when he’s acting like a b*tch simply because you don’t like it, you’re barking up the wrong tree. There is no brotherhood; only manhood. “An Army of One” if you will.

@andybob: I was born without feelings, so no, you didn’t offend me. I completely understand where you’re coming from as far as the Game v. MRA spat is concerned. I’ve said it myself a time or two (actually in #7 in the post linked above) that if MRAs preached more prevention, I’d fly my MRA flag high at UMan for the world to see.

To be fair, I rarely have a problem with MRA articles. It’s good that young men are warned about the evils of divorce court, false rape accusations, and anti-male legislation. Hell, I have the Spearhead in one of the only 10 RSS feed slots on my phone. I retweet Price’s articles at least once per week. But what I’ve found is that while I generally enjoy the articles, the comments section is nauseating. Again, no so much at the SH, but some of the others melt my brain.

“The machine chewed me up and spit me out. But not all women are like that, and it’s my right to have a wife and kids, so I’m going to protest as loud as I can while I walk *right back in* to the machine that just removed my balls through my wallet. No need to study the female psyche, no need to warn other young men other than a few whiny comments on the internet, just knowing my rights (or lack thereof) should be enough. Here I go! Come with me!”

Mischaracterization? Maybe. But it’s certainly my perception. Roosh kind of nailed it here:
http://www.rooshv.com/the-mens-rights-movement-is-dead

When something is broken and needs a fix – be it relationships or business issues – you STOP what you’re doing and back up to survey the situation. Forget Game, forget PUA, forget MGTOW, forget MRA for a moment. If we all want to work together, we need to agree that telling young men to “be careful” is not enough. We need to say “STOP! BACK UP!”

What they decide to do after that is up to them. If they choose to get married, bad idea, but fine. If they choose PUA, fine. If they choose game (so very different than PUA, by the way) fine. If they choose to MRA it up and raise money to fight anti-male legislation, great! Of course, most of them will choose a blend that suits them the best – and that’s even better.

But all starts with stop. Stop, stop, stop.

We have to get these guys to stop fueling the damn machine that kills them.

I’m off to work. Y’all can have the last word on the subject. Thanks for reading, and thanks again to Mr. Price for running the article.

“In middle aged divorces almost 70% of all cases are filled by the wife.”

For all age distributions, approximately 70-75% of divorces are “filed” by the woman. BUT, 80% or more of divorces are “initiated” by the woman. Many woman leave their husbands (usually for another man) but do not file for divorce. They are too lazy. Their husband ends up having to file for her. So even in some instances where the husband has filed, it’s the wife who initiated. Furthermore, in most instances in which the decision to divorce is mutual, it’s actually the woman who initiated it or is the cause (usually for her adultery) and the man is just going along with her decision. During the past forty-four years, of the say 17% of instances where the woman did not file or initiate, approximately 6% were initiated by the husband and the remaining 11% were initiated by the woman but called “mutual”.

Good points all. Especially about Louisiana. Still Europe is very expensive. Although it is probably a lot easier for a young man to get out of the US and establish there more than it is for a middle aged man to. If their economy doesn’t completely collapse (which it probably will). I wouldn’t move to any of the PIIGS. Not much future for the young generation who are born in these countries. For an immigrant, it would likely be much more difficult.

Some of us guys aren’t interested in getting laid. What we have to negotiate for mere survival is enough. LOL Sexuality is a very corrupting enterprise, gay or straight. I’m a bit of a reductionist or minimalist and like to contain the MRM to practical considerations like staying out of jail, access to children and financial security. Things like sex and sexuality and relationships with the opposite sex are more social problems instead of political or practical or financial or legal and really aren’t within the perview of the MRM. There is no political solution to a social problem. How men and women work out their relationships is their business. I’m interested in the political, legal, financial and practical context of those relationships. Concern about the relationships themselves will just divide the MRM and misdirect it.

America is perhaps the only country in the world where it is very difficult for a man to get and keep even one of the basics (good woman, children, steady job, retirement). To cure men of the these problems they face in America, you have to live in another culture.

While not a perfect solution, there are different sub-cultures in America that are more male friendly than others. Up where I live (north western shores of the Great Lakes), hunting is still a very big part of the culture. And while women are not excluded, it’s very much a male activity. An especially important one for families who have been hit hard by mill closures. A good sized doe will put meat in the freezer for a whole year.

Women have more opportunity to see the real, material value of men’s greater strength. And the economic devastation is easily understood: the mills are closed – the work has gone to Vietnam where workers get paid $1 a day. There is no way to blame individual men for being out of work. When husbands get laid off, they get a lot more compassion from their wives, I think.

It’s a tough situation, but I think the fact that there are clearer distinctions between what men do and what women do and that it would be damn hard to live without both makes it easier to like men for BEING MEN. The poetry reading, feminist leaning, emo boy in the white pants may cream Jessica Valenti’s panties, but he isn’t going to be much use when the freezer is empty and the kids are hungry.

In the town where I live, the workers who hand out parking tickets are mostly women, and the workers who pick up the garbage are 100% men. The parking ticket ladies objected to being paid considerably less than the garbage collectors, and tried to frame it as gender discrimination.

It was laughed out of town hall. No way would anyone in this town buy that kind of crap. Garbage collectors get paid more because it’s a dirty, physically strenuous, demanding job.

There are parts of the country that are still male friendly.

When your family needs a hunter, it’s amazing how much more valued men become.

I see the Game/Anti-Game thing is still going on. Allow me to input my two cents and maybe throw a bone to each side. My view on this has evolved a bit over time, and this is where I am now:

I recently “graduated” from the 40′s, and – as some here know – I’m a married retired military officer. I read guys like Roissy and laugh at them. Cut through all the psycho-speak (some of which is insightful) and at base he’s just another skirt-chaser. I’ve known a few guys who can pick up pretty young women easily, when they themselves were young and attractive, and he is probably one of them. But if you read his test for “Alpha or Beta” it emphasizes the ability to pick up “hotties” in bars. Woopdie-freaking-doo. Since he defines “Alpha” as the the ability to nab attractive 22-year-old strangers in bars for meaningless sex, guys like him will eventually realize that they have a “Use by” date too. Whatever “Alpha” means (if it in fact means anything), it can’t be that.

That’s not to say that Roissy doesn’t say some awfully insightful things. He does, but he doesn’t seem to realize that the uses for that information have natural limits. Oh well, he’s young and he’ll probably figure out the rest of it eventually. But what he calls “Game” is what guys of my generation and earlier ones didn’t have a name for. We didn’t need a name for “being masculine.” You didn’t learn it in a seminar with a guy in a funny hat teaching pick-up lines, you learned it by interacting with men day-to-day throughout your childhood.

Here’s the thing: for many guys who came of age before the 2nd Wave insanity took over the Anglosphere, being masculine isn’t a “Game” at all, and that’s why I, for one, occasionally bristle at the concept. What most guys call “Game” is just “what masculine men have done” since the dawn of time. Another difference is that very few boys of my generation grew up without fathers, unlike the case for the past couple of decades. Since many of those young men had little interaction with grown men as they matured, they never learned the things that earlier generations of men learned as boys, when most families were intact, men were not automatically suspect, and childhood (especially boyhood) was not bubble-wrapped at the insistence of women.

In short, “Game” isn’t new, or particularly insightful, but when you extract the portion that is useful from the mass that is dross, there are things worth knowing. It’s what men have instinctively known for thousands of years – before various societal trends (particularly feminism), separated boys from masculine influences as they grew up.

Unfortunately, your advice about enclaves of sanity free of feminism is not accurate. Feminism is institutionalized in all of federal and state politics, law, finance and society. If a woman wants to take a man for anything she can get, then there is nothing a man can do about it. Anywhere. If poverty is the only thing standing between a man surviving or not (an oxymoron if there ever was one), then obviously things aren’t very good where you come from. Your locale is the way it is because feminism already wiped it out. Sound like Puerto Rico or Costa Rica. The large swaths of poverty are in these places because feminism already wiped them out and has entrenched itself and prevents any possibility of recovery, condmning all to poverty forever. There is no life possible for a man in the US under such a large and oppressive feminist regime. I think that as a woman you still fail to understand the fundamental obstacles men face to surviving in the US.

@Lyn87,

To begin with, I share your perspective and agree with you.

That being said, allow me to present my understanding of the other perspective, filtered through some of those “traditional masculine values” guys like us simply absorbed while we were growing up. Like you, it took me a while to get my head around “Game.” I did have a bit of a head start because I was aware of the trenches younger men were forced to live in.

To begin with, your point is lost on those guys who did NOT grow up interacting with mature men. You might as well be describing the landscape of the moon to them.

Second, it comes across like some REMF strolling through the wards of a VA hospital, or strolling on Omaha Beach on the morning of June 7th, and kind of patting himself on the back saying “Well, at least I was smart enough to stay where the bullets and bombs weren’t.” Maybe the guy was actually saying “I was LUCKY enough to be where the bullets and bombs weren’t.”, but it is still going to sound like gloating to the guys who were where the bombs and bullets were.

You are speaking to guys who were kidnapped and forced to grow up in the feminist gulag. They, with no damn help from older men, have figured out a set of coping mechanisms. Monday morning quarterbacking of what they have come up with in order to survive psychologically is fairly damn useless. And, it’s also pretty damn useless to talk about what we would have taught them if we had been around, which we weren’t.

And hopefully, with a military background, you will understand what I am going to say next –
It happened on our watch.

This is one of those things you say that “men have instinctively known for thousands of years.” These younger guys instinctively know that –
It happened on our watch.

Now, imagine a small military base gets its perimeter breached, invaded, and taken over because the sentries were passing the bong and the OOD was down at the officers club having a couple of beers. All the enlisted men are kidnapped and hauled off to the feminist gulag, where they spend the next 20 years.

At the inquest, the tribunal looks at the OOD, while he goes “but, but, but…”, and responds with that well known mantra of discipline –
“Excuses are LIES, plebe!
It happened on your watch!”

I can’t believe that so few men “instinctively knew” that when Susan Brownmiller accused all men of a conspiracy to keep women terrorized with rape – particularly when the easiest way to get a man killed was for a woman to simply point to him and say “he raped me” – the hidden agenda was assassination of the masculine character. I can’t believe that so many OODs were drunk in the Officer’s Club when Dworkin and MacKinnon told everyone that looking Playboy magazine was clear evidence that a man was gearing up to rape some woman – to continue to assassinate masculinity.

I can’t believe that men of my generation fucked up our watch so badly.

And, if guys have to wear funny hats and neg women just to have a normal social interaction with them, older guys don’t have much of a leg to stand on in criticizing them –
because it happened on our watch!

I remember; but what could anyone have done?
It’s was a catagory 5 hurricane that swept across our culture; on our TV and movie screens, in our schools and print media. Whenever a man of any note said something he was chastised and black-balled by a loud chorus of shreiking harpies, and some manginas. “Male Chauvanist Pig” was the worst pejorative any man could be called, almost as bad as coward.

The Feminist Movement made an argument that obviously resonated with the majority, (and it still works rather well today). While there are outliers like us that see the damage the enmity between men and women has wrought on society, most people view feminism to be as natural and righteous as outlawing slavery, (because women were thought to be a kind of slave to men).

My father actively fought Marxism/Socialism from taking over our school system in the early 70′s. While many of the older administators and teachers agreed with him (even the Superintendent), they were over-run by the latest generation of teachers fresh out of Indocrination U. He was eventually banished from attending school board meetings; “too disruptive” (ie- politically incorrect). It was everywhere, there was no stopping that storm.

Home Economics was replaced by Social Sciences. Kind Mrs. Perkins was replaced by surly Ms. Cassiday; my first feminist teacher, had Gloria Steinem’s picture on her desk. What could I have done? I tried to make as much trouble as possible but they over-powered me.

Yeah, maybe enough of us had to be falsely called things like “child abuser” and “deadbeat” before we stopped caring about being called chauvinists or other political epithets.

After going through a contested custody case, being called names just doesn’t have the same effect on me any longer. I doubt I’m alone in this.

Mentu:
some of the others melt my brain.

But all starts with stop. Stop, stop, stop.

We have to get these guys to stop fueling the damn machine that kills them.

On the one hand, it’s like listening to myself talking. On the other hand, it’s like living the movie “Groundhog Day.”

I commented on Roosh’s post that the MRM is dead, saying that not only was it dead, it was DOA – stillborn.

The Groundhog Day aspect comes in when I see men doing exactly the same thing that they have done for 5 decades – fail, FAIL, FAIL. Stupid men never learn from their own mistakes. Smart men do learn from their mistakes. Even smarter men learn from the mistakes of others.

Bashing other ideological “tribes” of men, except in those cases where their agenda actually is the enemy of your agenda, is a mistake.

Fault for the fact that there is no MRM can’t be entirely laid at the feet of MRAs. I don’t even remember when that term came about, but Roosh’s mental card tricks of saying that A in MRA stands for Activism, and they are not doing any activism, so they are a failure, is wrong on a lot of counts.

An MRA can equally be a Men’s Rights Advocate. Roosh accused most MRAs of being pamphleteers, not activists. That is like saying that the authors of the Federalist Papers, Thomas Paine when he wrote “Common Sense”, and Thoreau when he wrote “Civil Disobedience”, had no effect at all because they were not single-handedly storming the Bastille.

It would be like saying that George Armstrong Custer was not a soldier at all because he and his men were outnumbered.

Spitting on people who have been fighting this war before someone was born, and saying that their understanding of the reasons they have failed is of no use, is profoundly arrogant.

Just as there are many flavors of Game, there are even more flavors of Men’s Rights Advocates. Personally, I go so sick of arguing with pig-headed a-holes that I totally dropped anything I was doing specifically for men’s rights and became a KSSITSCA – Keeping Some Sanity In This Stupid Culture Advocate. When that failed, I became a RSSTTSCA – Restoring Some Sanity To This Stupid Culture Advocate.

Along the way I learned an unbelievably bitter truth about men, much harder to swallow than the Red Pill – in general, you can’t count on men to back you up, but you can generally count on them to sell you out for money or pussy.

I’m totally on board for men smashing up the furniture and tearing up the decking planks on the Titanic to build their own rafts, while the SoCons fire guns to keep men off the lifeboats, women drown children to free up seats in the lifeboats for other women, and manginas argue about how to rearrange the deck chairs.

But, if I see a guy lashing his raft together using bad knots that won’t hold, and getting ready to cast off without knowing that his raft is going to come apart as soon as it hits the water, I’m still going to speak up and say “you need to use a better knot.”

I can’t believe that men of my generation fucked up our watch so badly.

They used a simple logical trick against us. An appeal to strength. It’s the same trick that has been used forever to get men to act against their own best interests, often unto death. We just can’t help ourselves.

One of the ways an alpha male demonstrates his strength is through his ability to provide for the weak. The warrior chieftain distributes food and booty to the tribe.

So, are you strong or are you weak? If you’re strong, you have nothing to fear from throwing a few bones to the women folk. Only a weakling would deny them what they ask. Only a weakling oppresses the weak.

Are you strong or are you weak?

Don’t take my point in the wrong way, Keyster. I was there with Gen. Custer when all those damned Indians just appeared out of nowhere.

The point I was making to Lyn87, is that excuses for failure are not a substitute for success.

Years ago I had a friend who had done a stint in the navy. The anchor on his ship got stuck and they just could not get it loose. Some guy thought about hooking a huge cable to it and just using a deck crane to pull it loose with sheer force.

The cable snapped, whipped around, and cut two sailors in half. The OOD was below deck taking care of something else when the whole thing came down.

He was court-martialed. It happened on his watch.

My major point here is that allowing the intergenerational divide and suspicion to continue is going on making the same mistakes men have made for years, and is the biggest reason why things have deteriorated as badly as they have.

Gamers have a point – and that is that the MRM has failed. Flat out, we have not held one strategic point. That is not an indictment of MRAs any more than this picture is an indictment of the guys who stormed Omaha Beach –

Our group, Keyster, did not knock out the batteries shelling the beach. If Gamers have to crawl through the sand and over corpses, some of that is due to the fact that we failed to knock out those batteries.

Wow. Great analysis. Except that women don’t think with “pragmatism”. I think the word you were looking for is “wasteful” or “opportunistic”.

You’re applying a masculine filter to the meaning of pragmatism. i.e. a cool, logical, hard-nosed appraisal of the facts.

For women, pragmatism means only “what’s in it for me, today?” You, Darryl X, exist only to the extent of your utility to a woman, today.

Women are very, very pragmatic.

@walking in hell2 — thanks for noticing.

It’s kind of sad how the rest of you are behaving exactly how I predicted. You won’t even acknowledge the model exists, even while you yourselves are pointing out and agreeing that activism and advocacy aren’t working.

So again I point out: they’ll work when the technological conditions that make men’s liberation possible arrive. Women have been agitating and advocating for their liberation for centuries, so why didn’t it happen sooner?

BECAUSE WE COULDN’T AFFORD IT.

The economic and technological conditions required strong enforcement of behavioral restraints and conditioning upon women in order to maintain the population replacement rate. And then we developed the wealth and technology necessary to lower the costs of creating and raising the next generation, and guess what? Women’s liberation finally happened.

Unless and until we create and disseminate the wealth and technology necessary to allow men’s similar liberation, our activism and advocacy just aren’t going to accomplish much. It’s just that simple.

We need to change the economics first. Men’s liberation isn’t going to happen unless and until we can AFFORD it, because men’s oppression is the result of economic and technological tradeoffs in the FIRST place.

So we need to change the economic and technological conditions FIRST.

My major point here is that allowing the intergenerational divide and suspicion to continue is going on making the same mistakes men have made for years, and is the biggest reason why things have deteriorated as badly as they have.

To be fair, this is a multi-generational war that will take at least a few more decades to start gaining real traction. The germ of Feminism 2.0 was planted in the The Second Sex (1949), which in-turn inspired The Feminine Mystique (1963). And of course it had been simmering for at least a generation before that, between the Temperance Movement and Marxism. Second wavers are just now starting to die off, alone with their cats as predicted.

And don’t forget the Civil Rights era of which feminists so adeptly co-opted, only to later amalgamate themselves into the Democrat Party as their single largest and most powerful constituency. And don’t even get me started on the financial backing from industrialist endowments and extortion monies from consumer corporations that created the monolith we have today.

Restless and frustrated young men demand immediacy, but this thing is a slog that neither of us might survive to see through. It won’t be in
the form of angry men marching up the steps of the Capital or Supreme Court (like feminists), proclaiming independence from “male utilitarianism” or demands for “gender equality”. It will be when the collective conscience finally surmises things have gone way too far. It will be a Renassiance of sorts; brought about by a book, a movie or a notable figure taking a stand against misandry – – through Art.

Yes, it’s gonna get worse before it get’s better, but we’ve managed to survive hiding in our bunkers until the time is right; when this cultural miasma finally retreats…we’ll be ready. Just now starting to see glimmers of light through the mist, thanks to the Manos-webs.

Regarding activism: I’m not against any of it or anyone who tries to do it. It’s all goodness!

@ Darryl X

Feminism is institutionalized in all of federal and state politics, law, finance and society. If a woman wants to take a man for anything she can get, then there is nothing a man can do about it.

Oh, I know this. I understand it perfectly. It makes me sick.

All I was suggesting is that in certain subcultures, there are fewer women who will take advantage.

This is what sucks so hard about the current state of affairs: many women (myself included) FUCKING HATE the powers we have. We would never, in a million years take advantage of them. Kind of like farmers in the historical South who refused to buy slaves, even though it was their legal right to do so.

My point is that when you need someone to chop firewood, damn, it’s nice to have a man. When you press a button on the wall for heat, the fact that men are the ones creating and producing that heat gets obscured.

Dramatic changes in the economy have made the value of men much more evident in some areas of the country.

I think there is more of that to come. And that is, at the end of the day, a good thing.

Off topic: my husband works at a local university. They are gearing for cuts to superfluous programs – women’s studies, visual arts, music, cultural anthropology, psychology, sociology. What will be left? Engineering, medicine, geology, mathematics, computer science and business. Universities are about to be dominated by men again. Because they are the ones in the useful disciplines. The ones we CANNOT live without.

Women still reign in teacher’s college and nursing, but once the fat is cut, the university becomes the province of men once again.

Thank fucking god.

I’ll bet a large sum of money that neither you nor I will live to see much of a change, Keyster. Rapid social change requires a war, and I think we are a long ways from that stage.

I think our best shot is to stage our own “slow march through the culture” and lean on the future trying to shove it in our direction as much as possible. I don’t believe that “misandry” exists as people are currently using that word, nor does “misogyny.” There are always going to be competing paradigms between what people believe and want, and that is always going to create friction as each group tries to implement their own vision of “heaven on earth.”

In many respects, that is what we are dealing with right here, right now. This “feud” between the Gamers and the MRAs is the result of two sets of belief systems trying to approach the same problem in different ways. I will readily admit that the MRA approach has had nothing but abysmal results – despite some real, genuine, and sincere effort on the part of a lot of individual MRAs.

I would not be convinced by an argument in the form “Well, what we have done has not worked yet, but any day now it is going to start working.” That may be fine for those guys who are habituated and invested in that approach, but it is not a compelling recruitment spiel.

I view Game as radiation, surgery, and chemotherapy applied when a homeopathic approach has not cured the cancer, or even checked its spread.

The arguments against MRAs that “they never do any activism” is simplistic and naive. We just experienced a fairly large scale, multi-national, bit of “activism” in the Occupy movement. What did it accomplish? Nothing, other than provide fodder for MSM sound-bites and blog posts.

Appealing to our “owners” for better treatment is futile. They will only treat us as well as they have to – which means how we demand for them to treat us in exchange for us to keep their machines running.

Unless men demand payment in advance, we will always be disappointed in the compensation we receive for our lives if we let the buyers set the price.

For a long time I have watched young men dive for the shelter of the glass cellar. If some other man wants to feed his body to the beast, that is his choice. But, I chose not to and I agree with young men who are choosing not to.

Me personally I like zeds idea that all men are important to the MRM. Each tpe of man in each stage of there life and each personal desire from homosexual to PUA is a man that is targeted. All races are included in this. The reason I think femminism has gone this far is because the average man is a good man and wished for his woman to be happy. (yes it is paving his own road to hell but that is what evil does) And besides that most of the shit feminist were saying was lies any way. From DV to the pay gap. So as far as I’m concerned fuck how we got here we are here.
Rather than debate over what the individual flavor of man is doing maybe we should just take action. This debate and finger pointing has been going on from what we ahave been told by the older fellas here for years(as in decades). No body could have told me what having a wife and kids was like (the jkids part especially) to the Point i was ready. And if I had waited until everything was perfect it never would have happened. So we should just work on action to take from here.
First off this will be a group effort from each type of man. The MRA’s that is us will have to give guidance and leadership for the cause.
Different roles will be made for various types of men.
Young 12 -18,18-25
Mature 25-35 35-45
older guys 45-60
survivors 60-100
From there we have straight, gay single married, sexually active, sexually driven, desiring of wife and family ,just want children, hate woman ,pedistalizes women, church leader, gang banger, PUA, MGTOW, educated, rich, poor, blue coller, dumb ass, divorced, soldier, marine ,cop ,lawye , judge, politician, homeless.
Most of the stuff I have learned from the manosphere are defensive techniques for individual survival. This is great for guerrilla action a rebel combatant can weaken the beast and stay alive but can never win. Not as a guerilla the final victory must come from a conventional army so to speak. Guess who that is. The biggest pussy whipped sons of pussy worship, the christian church. The ones that matter know they are fucked and the new pope of the RCC knows they are fucked also. But he did something that gave it away on how important they are for us. The pope said he needs to rid the church of feminism. that is my kind of churchian there, maybe one day he can be a christian soldier. The church needs to learn “game”. And based on the comments here some of the fellas hee need to learn what it is too. Game is the sexual emotional psychology of women period. The PUA community use iut and develope it the most because they are motivated to. Sex drive natural and normal. The male sex drive built the modern world. the male sex drive wrote down what was a feeling or a gift for a few. They have done some extordinary that will change the course of history and it will also be the foundation to end femminism. The problem with “game” is the motivation and the writer(those pussy hound PUA)the churchians really have a cow about learning from a sexual sinner. I have been on Dalrocks making comments out the ass trying to guide the dicussion and some of thate things are getting into the thought process.. We need to stop being high and mighty and build the army. Work those churchians into christian soldiers. BTW there is no such thing as a christian woman. A christian woman is a woman that will suck chritian mans dick and like it. Let that sink in and it is also a whole new subject matter.
Hand in hand with a standing army we need to know what victory looks like and how it will live like day to day. First we will never have an enlightenment of women, impossible and irresponsible for a man to expect. (learn game asshole) A patriarchy is out of the question (fuck you bitch) I like equality as is take it like a man bitch. We need to as a movement actually write laws (Hint they are already written it is called the constitution)
The activist types Keyster comes to mind and the guys that like women in the ranks with the idea that “they” will listen to a girl shit. That falls under the women will not be enlightened even if it is another women trying to enlighten her. irresponsible period. Women are herd followers(know your “game” asshole) thats a place women can influence. They can set the herd. We all need to either jion the tea party or have a tea party member have a mens blog and call it a mens tea party blog and get the ticks and views up until the subject of game ,feminism and the laws of misandry are brought up. and up and up and up and up again and again.
I myself beleive the military goal of the MRM is to create as many involuntary childless spinsters as possible. Many problems are solved here. How we get there is this. Always encourage women to be true to herself and to get an education and career. Let them know it is ok to wait until you are ready to start a family. The cock carousel is for you honey. (one would not actually call it that but hooking up smart and dating different men will help you find the one and besides that a girl can have a little fun just like the boys do, that would be a good way to send a girl off to college) This is where the PUA come in and do the lords work for the MRM. Burn off those fertile years. Next never get a girl knocked if you can help it. Always encourage the right to abortion and try not to cum in a vagina. This one here is the key the bitch has to remain childless. And at this time women control things (they own the lie) Childlessness is a choice they make staying on the cock carousel too long or to busy being a career bitch. Involuntary is when men don’t don’t cum in her until her clock runs out. hard thing for men to control is something an individual man can do. This is another area the activist can work to have an effect way out of proportion to the effort. A nonhormal birth control pill for men. Spinsterhood is never marry a woman over the age of 24. A childless unmarried never married slut is not entitled to shit. The effect it will have on women will be amazing. At this point the church can salt those wounds with the no rings for sluts when those used up cunts show up at church to find a churchian chump. The political and cultural wing will be ready for a few years of double down on misandry (gotta get those manginas and white knights) Now with the birth rate to single mothers hopfully down and fewer divorces due to fewer marriages maybe some state budgets will start to balance, just a guess. Combined with activism and the failure of the misandry double down which should be now just for the womens vote and not for revenue reasons. The state will be more likely to use the removal of laws of misandry as a fix for the hysterical women especially if there is some activist bug in the ear. It maybe 20 years before that happens but the young girls 5-6 years old now and younger will need some where to go. This is where the standing army sets the cultural tone and with enough involuntary childless spinsters howling in the night they will have the incentive to follow a new herd direction. The reason we need to have a cultural base of MRA standards is the women only do wants in it for them today. Misandry has to not be whats in there best interest. They will behave what is in there best selfish interest. We need to define what that behavior is and guess what they are not listening until it is in their best interest to listen. That is a whole article in itself.
As I hope youall can see this is a big undertaking fom the mens blogs waking men up and giving men that were force fed a red pill thruogh divorce a place to go tom find answers. The manosphere also gives techniques on survival for men in misandry. This is tangentially related to why MRA and MRM are terms which don’t even come close to being able to capture the political mess in which we live.

Judge orders sex change for Mass. murder convict

BOSTON (AP) — A federal judge on Tuesday ordered state prison officials to provide a taxpayer-funded sex-reassignment surgery to a transgender inmate serving life in prison for murder.

U.S. District Judge Mark Wolf ruled in the case of Michelle Kosilek, who was born as a man but has received hormone treatments and lives as a woman in an all-male prison. Robert Kosilek was convicted of murder in the killing of his wife in 1990.

http://news.yahoo.com/judge-orders-sex-change-mass-murder-convict-165858350.html

I don’t even know where to start. But, let’s get the yellow journalism out of the way – the title is shortened to “mass-murder-convict” which is very different than “massachusetts -murder-convict.”

So, this federal judge orders that the taxpayers pay for a Frankenstein operation on a convicted murderer. I can think of one good way to cut both taxes and health care costs in Massachusetts – don’t be this stupid.

Culture must change before laws can.

No matter how clearly and how righteous one’s views are, until the culture has changed first, the laws will not co-operate with your agenda.

That means more than just writing op-eds on the internet. It means that TV shows must reflect new moral values. It means that authors of novels (not books) must find a market for story-lines that convey anti-feminist attitudes, getting bought by the millions – the way that women eat up “50 Shades of Grey.”

All the activism in the world doesn’t mean shit until the culture changes its attitude, then the laws will change a decade or so later. If you try to do it the reverse way – laws before culture – you will find everything gets watered down with PC Bullshit (TM) – which is why when men try to start Male Studies Departments they wind up getting filled with the most pansy-assed of men that could exist. I wouldn’t be surprised to see David Futrelle given a position in Men’s Studies in today’s climate, to bring “balance.” Who they won’t be inviting is Zed, Angry Harry and Roissy. (Lol! And certainly not me!). Everytime the CBC Radio has a radio program on about gender issues here in Canuckistan, they invite that retard Kimmel to speak on men’s behalf to “give balance.”

We have a long way to go, and there is absolutely no point in forming activist groups to change laws if everytime there is going to be a wishy-washy fagtard included in the White House Council for Boy and Men, to give feminist “balance.” Has anyone looked through the list of people on the board of directors of that “movement?” They are all academics, authors and journalists (and a couple of MD’s) – the very ilk that has been screwing us in the hooper without the wunder-lube for the past decades.

Think about this – if they are gonna ask people how to properly raise children, why is it always lesbians or other such academic wierdos with useless degrees that get placed into government bureaucracies to over-see it? They rarely raise children who aren’t screwed in the head by age 12 (and they usually only raise one designer baby) – yet, they are ingrained in our public infrastructure. Who they WON’T ask to sit on government councils are a farmer and his wife who have been married for 50 years, and have raised eight law-abiding, tax-paying citizens who have gone on to become productive parents and citizens themselves.

Culture must change before the laws. It’s just the way society works.

This is where Keoni Galt is 100% bang on – this is an AWARENESS movement. Mock it as “Men’s Right’s Authors” all one will. Without the awareness, the long march through the culture will never take place, and we will just be useful idiots furthering an agenda designed to lead us down the road to hell.

Awareness.

Culture first. Then the laws.

Learn history, or be doomed to repeat it.

I have a lot of things published on my blog, btw – some of it contradicts with my own personal views… but, a lot of the reason why I have such material and distribute it on some of my side-blogs is to give a well rounded view of the situation. A well rounded view, where one chooses his own direction after being exposed to several ideas is best, I figure.

To add to that – most of what I am publishing on my little “side blogs” is the stuff that I was exposed to over the past several years… which in turn built the foundation for what I write myself.

I’m not gonna stay in the MRM forever… I have a time-limit, and then I want to turn it off. So, I guess I am trying to convey the foundation for my beliefs before I “go ghost.” It’s a constant struggle – for example, I agree with much of GK Chesterton – but only much, not all. E. Belfort Bax influenced my views greatly about “how things were” – yet, I abhor his political stance in society… and so on. Where does one start and where does one stop? In the end, the only views I am 100% responsible for are those of my own, which I have written myself… but the foundations for that comes from multiple places.

Sounds like traditionalist, white knight fantasies to me. In my opinion, this is a terrible kind of thinking. It’s the kind of thinking that, should things change significantly for the better, will lead men not to the light but only to an alternate hell.

In my opinion, men must get over the fantasy that things were ever “good” between men and women. Women have NEVER done their fair share, have manipulated men since the beginning. It’s what they were made (for the creationists), have evolved (for the Darwinists) to do.

Schopenhauer, Vilar, Paglia (to a lesser extent) had it right. Women are to the human race what smelters are to steel mills. They’re necessary to keep the operation running but woe to he that does not manage it or protect himself around it.

Things like sex and sexuality and relationships with the opposite sex are more social problems instead of political or practical or financial or legal and really aren’t within the perview of the MRM.
There is no political solution to a social problem

DarrylX
In an ideal world, sex, sexuality and relationships would be the social problems common sense tells us they are supposed to be. Unfortunately, we live in a world where it has always been politically advantageous to strike people where they are most vulnerable. Our desire for sex makes us vulnerable to everything from extortion through whoopsie pregnancies, incarceration via false rape allegations and blackmail as a result of indiscretion.

Our desires and inadequacies, real or fabricated, have been shamed, mocked or demonised for every political motive imaginable. Feminists, have conjured up more punishing legal, financial and practical repercussions to sex than the Puritans ever did.

Yesterday, a British man was arrested for sexual assault because he tried to French kiss a woman on their first date. She’s obviously a nutbar who, thanks to decades of feminist politics, can exact legally-sactioned brutality against a man just for wanting to get his tongue in.

Feminists pushed their ‘personal is political’ meme so they could attack us where we are most vulnerable: in our personal relationships. To be frank, most women can only comprehend politics through the prism of their own experience. It’s one of the reasons why feminism remains so attractive to women. Not only do they reap massive legal and finacial benefits, they get to be politically powerful as well. This can all be achieved without ever stepping on a dais in their whole lives.

The MRM can’t afford to ignore the fact that sex and relationships have become deeply ingrained with political repercussions. I could be very wrong, but my understanding of game is men using political savvy in order to beat women at their own game. I thought that was why it was called ‘game’.

Feminists turned social issues into political issues . We have to deal with them as such because any other approach is just unrealistic.

I do not believe this is a multi-generational war – or not as much as you and I might hope. For the most part, the Greatest Generation and the first half of the Baby Boomers were out to lunch when all this stuff was happening. Yes, there definitely were a few enlightened men of foresight but almost all were not. Even most of the second half of the Baby Boomers or half of the Gen Xers were unaware of the implications of feminism. But more than previous generations. And to the degree that Gen Xers are/were aware of it, they are very small in number and relatively poor compared to other generations, so are/were powerless to change anything. The Millenials are a large generation, as large as the Baby Boomers. There are two problems with them: (1) they have really no frame of reference. The men think that their slavery is normal and don’t object (not all obviously but enough). And the women are for the most part whores to a much greater degree than their predecessors. They frighten me much more than women in previous generations. In previous generations, the women are/were evil. But they at least demonstrated some motivation and initiative. Today, women of the Millenials are evil but are unmotivated and have no initiative because their is nothing left to steal. Women from previous generations have already stolen it. The feminists have completely subjugated them. (2) As large in number as they are, the millenials are the poorest generation in the histrory of the US. Gen Xers were poor but they had vast lines of credit. The Millenials are poor and with no lines of credit. Despite their numbers, they are virtually powerless and spell the doom of our country. Not just because they seem without motivation because of their lacking frame of reference and no understanding of what they do not have, but because there is little they have to fight for. What good is a reestablishment of men’s rights if there is no way for those rights to be expressed in a country where previous generations bankrupted the following seven generations or more. At this point, the feminists have successfully destroyed all of civilization. Feminists have reduced all human existence to nothing more than the most primitive and short-sighted animalistic behavior. That which is easily most manipulated. Anything more sophisticated has been destroyed. Most men I know from previous generations (I’m in Gen X) have no dog in this fight. From their perspective, they’ve already paid their dues. They endured feminism through a booming economy and could survive it because of that. They’re done. It’s the Gen Xers and the Millenials who are in this fight. And really the Gen Xers represent most of the MRM. And they are the smallest generation in the history of the country. As much as we like to pin some hope on the Millenials, me experience is that despite their numbers, they represent a much smaller part of the MRM than the Gen Xers. I would say that if there was any immediate objective for the MRM, it is to recruit as many of the Baby Boomers and Millenials as possible. Relative to their numbers, for the most part, they are AWOL.

I’m sorry but I disagree with that. Woman have done their share for most of human history. It’s called pregnancy and childbirth, a painful and highly risky endeavor. Giving birth without access to painkillers and an operating suite? No thank you. I wouldn’t sign up for that. Fatality rate is way too high. And if you were an eighteenth century American you’d probably conclude that men owe women – a lot.

Giving birth in the care of Western man-medicine (possibly excluding the UK)? A piece of cake. I’ve seen it twice. Hook up that epidural and read a magazine.

So what do we men today owe women for their past reproductive service? That’s a good question. The answer is not nothing, in my opinion.

Really good comment on the generational issues. One very small quibble about the Greatest Generation. I think most of what you say about them actually applies to the Silent Generation – and, wow, are they aptly named. This discussion of generations led me to doing some research, and the Silent Generation never produced a president of the US. They just got skipped. Every US president from Richard Nixon to George Bush I came from the greatest generation, then we skipped to Bill Clinton (boomer).

Both of my siblings are Silents, and fit the stereotype very well. They have never set the world on fire, they have just gone along for the ride – silently. And, they were sort of on the leading edge of the divorce revolution – both their first marriages crashed and burned, as did about half of those of my Silent cousins.

I think the village of Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius is an appropriate analogy. Earthquakes started about 62 AD, and were considered a fact of life. No one around had ever seen volcano, so they didn’t attach any real significance to the earthquakes. And then… the mountain blew up.

The divorce epidemic spread like a plague beginning about 1970. And, “care” services were not prepared to handle it and were overwhelmed at first. Then they geared up – and now we are in the current situation.

I don’t know whether these social earthquakes are signs that the mountain will blow up eventually, or the villagers will just leave and find a more stable place to settle.

I would not count much on the Boomers. I think our best shot is to educate the Millennials and keep them from getting caught in the machine.

We may not have to do much, however, because most of them will remain too poor to get married, and even if they do the husbands will not have much to steal from them.

My personal views of relation between men and women: it is all about survival of the human race. Men and women relationship are not about companionship, love, self fulfillment it is about continuation of the race.

That’s a very good point.

After all look at how many people are in the world and our pending resource issues.

The whole male/female thing is becoming unnecessary and funneling all of society’s resources into women having babies is counterproductive.

Instead for survival focus on leveling off and gradual decline of existing population and quality of life for those people.

More jobs, cheaper food, better education, etc.

In many respects, that is what we are dealing with right here, right now. This “feud” between the Gamers and the MRAs is the result of two sets of belief systems trying to approach the same problem in different ways.

It’s like watching two of the lowest ranked football teams play each other towards the end the season; the battle for the bottom. Neither wants to be the loser’s loser.

What will happen won’t be the result of anything men do, but rather what they don’t do. The declining marriage rates, single mother “families”, etc. will have to get to staggering proportions before anyone will notice there’s a problem. That’s a shame, because we here can see it coming, the proverbial canary in a coal mine – – but no one will listen… and no one will ask men what they think, and if they do men can’t give an honest answer in public or “mixed” company.

Any hints of fatherless homes, women dominating academia, etc. are quickly squelched by the MSM. Women are simply too valuable a consuming demographic to piss off. I harken back to what Kathleen Parker said in her book “Save the Males” – “The real problem is who will our daughters marry?” (yes I know in typical SoCon fashion)

There are more single women today than at any time in our history. This is a trend that will continue. Yeah, it’ll have to get much worse, for WOMEN!

That is a brilliant analogy, Keyster. That is exactly what it is like.

And, it holds up well to elaboration and extension – the stands are totally empty except for a few really die hard fans.

I harken back to what Kathleen Parker said in her book “Save the Males” – “The real problem is who will our daughters marry?” (yes I know in typical SoCon fashion)

Appealing to people’s self-interest is seldom a losing strategy. The best we can hope for is that it is enlightened self-interest, and not purely solipsistic self-interest.

And, yes, that is the real problem for women – who will their daughters be able to marry?

I think the millennials will emerge as the crossover generation when “grrl-power” gets the upper hand and the burden of carrying themselves, their families, and the government, financially, gets handed over to women.

Congratulations, women, you won….
the dummy prize.

Making sure that men were forced into the workforce and women were not forced, assured that the largest number of women would be able to get their hypergamous instincts met. As women have moved up the economic pyramid, their mating pool has shrunk geometrically.

Many young women today will have the choice between marrying down, or not at all.

Financially secure Beta husbands are a vanishing species on the verge of being hunted into extinction.

Thanks Zed (master of analogies yourself).

Yes, logarithmically or in order of magnitude – – the disenfranchisment of men in favor of women and hypergamy is at the heart of what’s starting to happen. But we’re ignoring hypergamy because women “aren’t really like that”. The MSM will trot out anecdotal feel-good stories about happy house husbands to sort of prime the social pump, but women en masse will NEVER tolerate supporting a man at home. If this were the case it would be much more popular by now.

There is an abundance of attractive, well educated young women in the work force right now, that are single with little interest in most men – – because she’d be marrying down. Meanwhile the few viable high-status young men are choosing the most pleasant house wife material on the market. Those that insist on forcing the cultural meme of “equality”, if not dominance by the wife, end up in divorce. She just becomes disgusted with his very presence after a while; especially when being surrounded with so many hot aggressive guys at work all day.

single mother “families
This needs to end. We should be taking action to ensure that an unmarried womenan is childless. Don’t care about the success of women so what. All of those single women so what as long as ythey are childless. Let the single bitch make 110k a year I’ll make my 32k I’ll still live better. She’ll be the hysterical wreck trying to get knocked up and buy stupid shit trying to show status and credentials to other women. I’ll have my small old house with my internet big sceen tv. A new small commuter car and a used truck I bought at an aution to use as a hunting rig. If need be I can lift the engine and trans mission and replace it with one from a wrecking yard and drive it for 10 years. That rich empowered bitch will hire me to cut her lawn for 50 bucks a week and if she is nice to me I’ll fuck her every once in a while. Shes the one paying 36% income tax not me. That is the way men need to look at women. Trust in the fact that women for some reason get real polite under them circumstances. This isn’t going to be multigenerational either it is going to be real fast. first off women do not care about their daughters (or younger women). An old bitch will encourage the girl to date and fuck everybody (hooking up smart, serial monogamy) and then to establish suporiorty when she can’t sexually complete with the new flesh annouce to the same youg women that when she was their age she was more selective blah blah blah. The only thing women worry about is who is going to be responsible for me today. A 47 year old childless woman never married has nothing but herd status that is gone as soon as her sexual competition for other females goes. She is just a booty call that better learn to be polite. What did you say bitch, your neighber offered to cook me dinner after I changed the oil in her car I’ll think I’ll tell her sure I’ll be free tomorrow night. That is the post feminism man.
But that is not all. Lets not get into a bitch boy apex fallacy NAWWBS (not all of them hos will be rich bitches aka not all women will be succesful) Treat them the same way and even worse because they have no money.
Women are hysterical at the thought of being responsible for any thing including themselves. abortion is legal. A woman can kill an unborn child and claim it is her right. Self interest is alive and well and will rule.there will be no enlightenment but what ever it takes to punt responsibility away will be the path taken and that path will be assigned by us.

because they are so valuable. Think of the nice pool of clean draft eligible males they raise. You can build a divorce industry complete with college for special lawyers and special courts on the backs of those guys. You can set up and sustain huge industries of CS collection, skip tracing, home mortgage, life insurance, suv and minivans, etc etc. the patriarchy at leaste had a few game wardens to help maintain the herd. feminism did away with the game warden and replaced him with misandry and added the event of canned hunting of captured betas to allow all to enjoy the hunt. Hey Darryl. I agree with your general sentiment that the state and law enforcement apparatus supporting misandry is enormous. But, I don’t see how this pertains to my original comment.

My argument was that women have never and will never be selfless, unselfish, or non-manipulative and people that have a fantasy it was ever so (pre giant state misandry enforcing apparatus) or will ever be so (if we can just be more traditional or dismantle some of the state appartus) are kidding themselves and, more importanly, brainwashing other men. Thanks for your reply. I mean no offense but I totally disagree with your using childbirth (maternal deaths, difficulty, etc..) from the 19th century to suggest women used to do their fair share.

I don’t believe you are doing it intentionally; but, I do believe you are using a technique feminists like to use which is to compare apples to oranges.

In any geographic location during any point in history, the “average” man has always had it much worse than the “average” woman. I think we basically see eye to eye I just won’t cut women (past or present) slack because I don’t think they deserve it.

Take care.

Funny, I thought I was directly responding to your point that women have NEVER done their fair share. Which I think is satisfying hyperbole but factually untrue.

Mortality in childbirth in the eighteenth century was approximately 1.5%. Three out of every two hundred pregnancies ended in the mother’s death. That death rate is far worse than that encountered by men in most wars with the exception of the small number of men at the very tip of the spear.

What we have today is a twenty-first century problem, a perfect storm of female suffrage, material abundance and the wholesale elimination of women’s work through the application of male ingenuity.

But that doesn’t mean women never did their fair share. In fact I know some that did. Women who though quite old are actually walking around today. Living dinosaurs in Jurassic Park. My aunt, a farmer’s wife, for a start. These women bear so little resemblance to modern Western women it’s hard to wrap your head around it.

Interestingly, according to accounts I’ve read, infant and maternal mortality – but also total fertility – were significantly lower in hunter-gather Indian tribes than in the white settler population in colonial times (before the epidemics and alcohol really kicked in). I think there was something about the pre-industrial agrarian lifestyle that took a pretty heavy toll on women and children. Probably artificially elevated fertility (as a result of early weaning and cereal-based diet) combined with chronic vitamin and mineral deficiency, I’d guess.

I think, if we’re honest with ourselves, we’d admit that hormonal manipulation and an artificial lifestyle have characterized our ancestors’ lives for thousands of years, rather than just a century or so.

Thinking more about death in childbirth. And one more dimension of women’s ingratitude towards men. The lifetime risk of dying in childbirth for a colonial American women was somewhere between 1 in 12 and 1 in 8. An enormous lifetime risk that has been virtually eliminated thanks to a host of male inventions in the areas of anesthesia, surgical intervention and infection control.

I’m no historian but I think that’s a romanticized, “noble savage” sort of viewpoint.

I read the Lewis and Clark diaries recently and one of the most surprising results for me was how miserable the lives of many of the native Americans were. Many encounters began with extreme relief on the part of the native Americans that the Lewis and Clark party were white men as the native Americans then realized they would not be killed on the spot. Many tribes lived in a state of constant warfare, hunger and deprivation.

“we had not continued our rout more than a mile when we were so furtunate as to meet with three female savages. the short and steep ravines which we passed concealed us from each other untill we arrived within 30 paces. a young woman immediately took to flight, an Elderly woman and a girl of about 12 years old remained. I instantly laid by my gun and advanced towards them. they appeared much allarmed but saw that we were to near for them to escape by flight they therefore seated themselves on the ground, holding down their heads as if reconciled to die which the[y] expected no doubt would be their fate; I took the elderly woman by the hand and raised her up repeated the word tab-ba-bone and strip[ped] up my shirt sleve to s[h]ew her my skin; to prove to her the truth of the ascertion that I was a white man for my face and ha[n]ds which have been constantly exposed to the sun were quite as dark as their own. they appeared instantly reconciled, and the men coming up I gave these women some beads a few mockerson awls some pewter looking-glasses and a little paint. … I now painted their tawny cheeks with some vermillion which with this nation is emblematic of peace.”…….Meriwether Lewis, August 13th, 1805

“when they arrived where the deer was which was in view of me they dismounted and run in tumbling over each other like a parcel of famished dogs each seizing and tearing away a part of the intestens which had been previously thrown out by Drewyer who killed it; the seen was such when I arrived that had I not have had a pretty keen appetite myself I am confident I should not have taisted any part of the venison shortly. each one had a peice of some discription and all eating most ravenously. some were eating the kidnies the melt and liver and the blood runing from the corners of their mouths, others were in a similar situation with the paunch and guts but the exuding substance in this case from their lips was of a different discription. one of the last who att[r]acted my attention particularly had been fortunate in his allotment or reather active in the division, he had provided himself with about nine feet of the small guts one end of which he was chewing on while with his hands he was squezzing the contents out at the other. I really did not untill now think that human nature ever presented itself in a shape so nearly allyed to the brute creation. I viewed these poor starved divils with pity and compassion I directed McNeal to skin the deer and reserved a quarter, the ballance I gave the Chief to be divided among his people; they devoured the whole of it nearly without cooking.”…….Meriwether Lewis, August 16th, 1805

Oh, no doubt it was savage and brutal. I read “The Jesuits” by Parkman about a year ago, and the level of sheer disregard for human life – male or female – amongst the Iroquois was eye-opening.

However, what I’m highlighting isn’t the human violence factor, but rather the environmental one. From what I’ve read on the subject, and it’s been a lot, Indian women and children were remarkably healthy and hardy compared to whites, and childbirth was not nearly as hazardous to them as it was to the typical Virginia or Massachusetts farmer’s wife.

My Yankee grandpa (on my mom’s side), who is still alive although fading, told me that in his own grandfather’s time it was common for farmers to go through two or three wives, as so many women died from complications related to childbirth and childrearing. I think it would be a worthwhile study to see what it was about that lifestyle that made motherhood so dangerous, when it hasn’t always been that way in other traditional cultures in other places.

@ Price,

In hunter-gatherer societies, much of the population died before reaching sexual maturity – thus, the skewed ratios. If you die at eight years old, it’s pretty hard to have reproduced… and would also indicate infertility, statistically speaking. The women who did make it to sexual maturity, spent most of their lives pregnant or nursing… and most people died soon after their sexual usefulness was gone, just like other mammals. (Most Indians died at around 40′ish).

I take your point but I’d like to see some statistics. Pregnancy has been dangerous for women of all races and cultures until quite recently. Russian roulette. Would you rather be your grandfather’s grandfather or one of his three dead wives?

Well, I know you’re of Dutch origin, Rob (I have a little that way myself), so perhaps this description of the natives of new Amsterdam will interest you.

It’s on page 198, about marriage and childrearing.

When it comes to politics in the manosphere what are the real divides?

Culture issue’s? Economic Issue’s? Military Issue’s?

Or is the divide really just in what type of lube we like it in? Republican or Democrat lube pick your flavor?

We all seem to agree on personnel property rights(Corporate Property rights seems to be an avenue of contention).

Most seem to agree that all people should be treated humanely, if not fairly.

Other issue’s seem to be race and sexual orientation. Perhaps a “what is good for you may not be good for me, and what is good for me may not be good for you” type compromise.

Seriously, what are the areas of contention? The only big one I ever see is among Homosexual rights activists who are attempting to use the MRM for their own benefit. Aside from that we all tend to have similar opinions about things more often then not.

Solid article. I’d like to make a shout out to jfinn, walkin in hell12, and darryl x — I think all three of you are complete idiots based on the limited comments all three of you had at the top.
