I used to follow Day by Day regularly when Captain’s Quarters blog linked to it, and kind of lost track after Ed Morrissey went to Hot Air. Looks like I’ve missed a lot.

Surely not >= 10% of American men are even imprisoned…?

I think art and satire is the way to reach a lot of people with a potent hit. Editorials are awesome for the thinking man, but very few people are thinking. Most people react on a visceral level.

So less than a month ago I started writing a piece of transgressive fiction, about the dispossessed Millennial Male. Kind of what fiction writing should do is drag the subconscious out into the light to effect other people, kind of how Ancient Religions were heavy on symbolism, ritual, and music as a way to move people towards group cohesion and a certain way of thinking.

The comments on that site are a laff riot. I would contribute my customary “A man wants a wife, not a co-worker” observation but I don’t have an account.

Here’s a great comment :

Tom Matlack
Boston

At The Good Men Project we talk about this a lot. My wife is definitely smarter than I am, a lawyer for many years before moving on to design and then work with children’s advocacy. And that intelligence was a big factor in my being attracted to her. I don’t think I am alone. As men we are looking for more than a magazine cover girl. I saw research recently that 30% of men on Match say they would marry a woman they aren’t even attracted to. No Chastity is out. Smarts is sexy.

I agree with Elmer, you should submit stuff to places like this…they think only women read and they love relationship articles.

The ol’ “Studies Have Shown” lie. Once again a major “writer” pronounces a correlation between men’s lack of sexual attraction to modern females and men’s “fragile egos/sexual inadequacy” :

“They point to outdated studies suggesting that women with higher earnings than their husbands do more housework to compensate for the threat to their mates’ egos, and that men who earn less than their wives are more likely to experience erectile dysfunction. ”

That does it. ForeignBride wants a new house so after we drive around looking at homes today rather than rogure away the afternoon I am going to finish my Spearhead essay Product Review : FoeignBride.

These grrrls should relax, there will be plenty of men better educated than they are. A trained male short-order cook has better qualifications than a “Master’s in Wimminz Studies” holding swivel eyed loon wimminz.

When will people learn that without specifying which subject the piece of paper is held in, “I’ve got a degree” means sweet fanny adams?

All it really means is that they’ve spent 3-5 years marinating in man hate / misandry and have a mountain of debt and entitlement to match.

Let them pay it off ALONE as waitresses

OT:
“Estrogen turns male snakes into same-sex charmers
Experiment with pheromones may shed light on environmental exposure’s effects”

“Give a male garter snake a taste of estrogen and watch out, as the hormone turns these lads into the sexiest thing on the block, attracting dozens of other males eager to mate.
The other males, in fact, preferred the male snakes with boosted estrogen levels to the small female snakes, the researchers found.”

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/46354343/ns/technology_and_science-science/

— I have wondered if environmental changes such as soy-based or laden foods which have lots of estrogen in them and are everywhere might also be affecting modern societies sexual-orientation behavior especially male same-sex interest and behavior.

Quite frankly, because I am a male who was born in the 1970s to a white, working-class father.

Guys like me who want to have success in their careers are supposed to go into tech, the military or industry — we aren’t supposed to be involved in “culture.”

Just look at the breakdowns by sex in different college departments and it’s all pretty straightforward.

Ugh I’m not getting this comic. Will someone better informed explain the all of the dialogue to me (I’m not getting anything, starting from the first two panels)? All I get is that the red-haired woman is cognizant of the effects of feminism (she’s red like the red-pill, she’s in the kitchen) and that the number of men left who aren’t disaffected are few, while her friend in the black is a femcunt. Please someone make me get this comic, dialogue, situation, humor and all. Thank you.

Reading the comments left on articles that are not written as men women articles but are laced with the usual PC feminist bullshit show a lot of men are at leaste aware and talking back. I make it a point to post up some anti PC stuff on a few yahoo articles as greyghost and have gotten a few thumbs up. That means people are noticing. Look at what the english are doing after the riots and all of the comments that came from the articles written about it. It is most likely lip service but hey, first steps of a long journey.

From the link Elmer quoted:

But that requires ditching the Lois Lane syndrome, where we ignore the attractions and attention of Clark Kent because we’re so eager for the occasional fly-by from Superman.

This of course implies that women choose to find certain kinds of men attractive. It’s the same bullshit that is fed to us when they talk about what men are supposed to find attractive. It’s not how it works. If I could choose to find fat, ugly, loud women attractive I’d be getting maaaaaad pussy.

Character listing for the webcomic “Day by Day.”
http://www.daybydaycartoon.com/about.html

That’s Zed and Sam (the redhead) in the first two panels.

Skye, the black haired woman at the stove in panel four, is Sam’s all out “Progressive” sister. As she says, she has trouble finding “a decent guy.”

Anatoly is a new character, native Russian and Skye’s new boyfriend. Zed is letting Anatoly know what he’s getting into. Skye gets the warning exactly backwards at first, then denies there’s a problem.

That strip isn’t the clearest, which occasionally happens in during the course of the comic.

It’s funny how the main stream media is starting to pick up our meme’s even as some of us rebel against them.

MGTOW is radical activism. It’s rejecting the idea that you need a woman’s permission or approval for anything.

As that comic points out but in some places is still a radical notion.

Women have become a liability in mens lives. They specifically set out to do it, it took them 100 years and they have no intention of changing.

Yet we have men here that would tie our hands behind our backs so we can’t even help ourselves.

Maybe these people would be happier if 70% on the Concordia ship that sunk just drown themselves in shallow water to keep up the survival rate of women vs men.

“Maybe these people would be happier if 70% [of men] on the Concordia ship that sunk just drown themselves in shallow water to keep up the survival rate of women vs men.”

They would.

It’s all about relativity.

Feminists don’t want a world in which men and women are equally free.

They want a world in which women fare better.

Even when both sexes could fare well, they will reject that outcome in favour of men enduring suffering.

So that women come out on top.

A stay-at-home husband who threw his daughter to a freezing cold river because he was angry at his wife’s low-paying job, got five years of probation after pleading not guilty by reason of insanity. Psychiatric evidence showed the husband had been seriously mentally ill and had suffered a psychotic break at the time of the incident — and that he is no longer a danger to herself or others. While the fully-recovered husband keeps custody of the children, there is no word why his hardworking but not so rich wife is not getting the custody. Of course, the above is a parody of this case: http://www.indianexpress.com/news/us-court-allows-psychotic-indian-mom-to-return-home/910894

I’m always amused when I see the same rehashed article as that shown in “The M.R.S. and the PhD” – or the one where they say that men’s ability to have children decrease with age. Yeah – right… Tell that to Charlie Chaplin who was a father at 86. :)

Women hate reality, and that’s why they placate themselves with these articles that all men look at and roll their eyes. Personally, I love the fact that more and more women are getting educated – as one of the older guys who got the PhD and is doing quite well in business, I have my choice of all of those well educated women trying to land a man. Of course, the fact that there are so many young women chasing that unicorn makes it so there is no need to settle for the cow when there is always a lovely little Heifer wanting to have a shot.

But I love Day-by-Day, very much like South Park – poking fun at all of the non-sense spouted on the news and elsewhere. Gotta love it…

If you want a funny web comic, try http://www.Oglaf.com. This strip comes out every Sunday. It’s a swords and sorcery/dungeons and dragons thing but sexy and, yep, men and women each behave with astonishing foolishness.
