Feminists Take Up Arms in War on Christmas

by W.F. Price on December 22, 2011

Feminists have recently adopted the tactic of exhuming relics from the past to look for new material to criticize, perhaps because complaining about how awful women have it today has begun to result in incredulity on the part of normal people.

In the following video, a feminist criticizes songs, most of which are from a half-century ago, for their “sexist” content. The songs are old Christmas classics, such as Dean Martin’s “Baby it’s cold outside,” (“date rape song”) and Bing Crosby’s “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas,” (stereotypes toys by gender).

There is an associated twitter discussion of the Dean Martin song where some feminists are discussing the lyrics and offering their own versions. One suggests the following: “you’ve got to go home” “but baby its cold outside” “get out of my house” “but baby its cold outside” “I’m calling the cops…”

Oh, what a knee-slapper! Feminists are soooo funny…

The feminist narrating the video gives away her Christmas wish list, which includes a Buffy the Vampire Slayer doll with what appears to be a pole-axe. In this case, a lump of coal might be more appropriate.

Leftists like to claim that there has never been a war on Christmas, but in their unending criticism of how people choose to celebrate it, it’s pretty obvious that a lot of them hate the holiday with a passion.
