Feminists Take Up Arms in War on Christmas

by W.F. Price on December 22, 2011

Feminists have recently adopted the tactic of exhuming relics from the past to look for new material to criticize, perhaps because complaining about how awful women have it today has begun to result in incredulity on the part of normal people.

In the following video, a feminist criticizes songs, most of which are from a half-century ago, for their “sexist” content. The songs are old Christmas classics, such as Dean Martin’s “Baby it’s cold outside,” (“date rape song”) and Bing Crosby’s “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas,” (stereotypes toys by gender).

There is an associated twitter discussion of the Dean Martin song where some feminists are discussing the lyrics and offering their own versions. One suggests the following: “you’ve got to go home” “but baby its cold outside” “get out of my house” “but baby its cold outside” “I’m calling the cops…”

Oh, what a knee-slapper! Feminists are soooo funny…

The feminist narrating the video gives away her Christmas wish list, which includes a Buffy the Vampire Slayer doll with what appears to be a pole-axe. In this case, a lump of coal might be more appropriate.

Leftists like to claim that there has never been a war on Christmas, but in their unending criticism of how people choose to celebrate it, it’s pretty obvious that a lot of them hate the holiday with a passion.

The reason she hates “Baby It’s Cold Outside” is because no man would ever even dream of trying to stay at her house.

Baby, it’s cold inside, and you’re stuck there alone.

Feminists deserve their share of the blame for the “War on Christmas,” but it’s really part of a larger leftist (pc) effort. That feminists take it to such extremes is really not surprising. They take EVERTHING to the extreme.

As for those who claim their is no War on Christmas, consider that seemingly overnight in our culture “Merry Christmas” became “Happy Holidays,” Christmas parties and Christmas vacation became “Holiday parties” and “Winter break.” I’ve even seen printed ads for “Holiday trees” instead of “Christmas Trees.” But there is no “War on Christmas,” right? I mean, this just happened spontaneously, with no outside influences from anyone or any organizations, right?

And it truly is amazing how ubiquitous this change has become; so much so that I am genuinely surprised when I see an ad on television that actually acknowledges Christmas instead of using one of the standard substitutes.

In the mind of feminists, sexism is wrong when directed at females. Sexism is fine and appropriate when directed at men. Feminism strives for equality except when it doesn’t which is usually the case since feminism is about supremacy. BTW, the speakers name is Anita Sarkeesian.

How boring, unstable, and counter-productive families and societies would be if the only difference between males and females is physical.

To give dear leftist sisters lurking in the dark around this wam forum fireplace, a little taste of Christmas feeling, let me present my favourite saint in history of Christianity:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_the_Great

Born as an illiterate Egyptian peasant in 3rd century . At the age of cca. 25 gave all his land to neighbours and went to the desert to pursue life of ascetism and celibacy. Became the founder of desert fathers’ movement and all Christian monasticism.

Now, there are three explanations for “why the hell did he go to the desert”.

CHRISTIAN: Because Jesus said “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasures in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

FEMINIST: Because he was an cowboyish macho pig and hated wimmin’s company and/or too childish to grow up, get married and work on a farm to feed his family.

SCIENTIFIC: Four words: Roman imperial tax collectors.

Yes, fellows, all Christian monasteries in the worlds owe their existance to a simple illiterate egyptian peasant, who boldly escaped the greedy Empire, challenged the wilderness and conquered it. And probably left some puzzled village girl behind, waiting forever in vain for that stupid man to come to his senses and return to her.

Glory to MGTOW.

Well if that isn’t a demonstration of solipsism, I don’t know what is. Somehow “All I want for Christmas is you” is, in her opinion, a female whining but for a man singing it’s stalking. As if women have never been stalkers.

Note too that she refuses to understand the chronological context of these songs. I mean when “baby it’s cold outside” it was cold outside because most people walked ten miles in the snow. And the man is demanding which is a trait only allowed in women. But it was a song that broke down the old rules of etiquette: it was assumed that an unchaperoned woman seeking alone time with a man was looking for sex, and the female vocals in that song beg the question.

Now what if we were to analyze the misandrist song lyrics of many pop songs today.

Put a comment on but it is “awaiting approval”, so not much chance of seeing it (comment was mildly jocular in character)

Anyone can play the game of imagining what message is being given by throwaway lines in even more throwaway songs. As if we’re all blank slates waiting to be written on by a couple of XMAS tunes we hear…

Her irritating assumption pervades most of feminism: that THEY KNOW better than us what messages should be pumped into our brains morning, night and noon, so we think the RIGHT things that they want us to think!

This is child’s playground stuff (like needing 50% of newsreaders to be women), the kind of thing no rational adult should suggest.

The war on XMAS is a strange leftist thing. Part of challenging views, along with anti-patriotism. It’s a very easy thing for feminists to agree with.

Aharon said…
“In the mind of feminists, sexism is wrong when directed at females. Sexism is fine and appropriate when directed at men. Feminism strives for equality except when it doesn’t which is usually the case since feminism is about supremacy.”

=> Don’t confuse equality with feminism. Equality is just a term that feminists hide behind. Its part of their version of marketing and propaganda. Its to trick regular women to follow feminism.

In practice, feminism is about the “rights of women”. It has nothing to do with children or men. To put it more precisely, its about obtaining special privileges for women via authoritative backing…Its about destroying the family unit in favor of government playing Big Brother. (Rules intrude more and more into people’s lives. In order to regulate how you think and what to say!)

Some say its all part of a grand scheme of a “World Government”. A single government to rule the planet in order to bring world peace. For the USA, it means all Americans are going to have to give up their freedoms. Family destruction and more dependence on govt benefits facilitates this path. What will slow it down is more families and people becoming independent of the government.

Unfortunately, such people (extreme left) lack the mental capacity to gasp that concept of costs and consequences. ie: If you boost something up, you have to pay for it from elsewhere. That’s where men come in. We pay through being treated unfairly when it comes to false rape allegations, etc.

Equality is about fairness. Feminism isn’t. It never was. Feminism is hatred and victim hood at its core. The overall goal is the total destruction of the male gender. (The recent Agent Orange intelligence gathering on the private part of the Radfem hub forum demonstrates this)…When people realise this key difference between equality and feminism or “Fairness VS Hatred”; that’s when we can evacuate regular women away from the feminist infection.

I guess this is the only way to be able to end this so-called “Gender War”. By clearly highlighting the big differences. That’s what the MRAs should be pushing for. (Its really a propaganda war. Getting public support is the key. Why do you think feminists get celebrities to chant their “This is what a feminist looks like” nonsense? Celebrities are idiots. They will say anything to get attention or a paycheck.)

The day I’ll be happy is the day when we no longer need to “go our own way” or MRAs, etc…That’s when feminism is all but gone and we can all get on with our lives as an entire species.

Christianity is one of the big three groups that it is OK to attack these days. One of the others is men.

If they tried that on Islam or Judiasm, it would never fly. They have a very nice victim narrative, the best in the world: question jews and you’re an anti-semite, a Nazi, the Holocaust and the 6 million. Further, one can see that many people who would never attack Muslims or Jews happily insult Christians. These are just like your white knight enablers.

Feminism is a subset of multiracialism. It’s not about equality. It’s about destroying and attacking the majority. It is in fact much more totalitarian than the system it is trying to replace.

“If they tried that on Islam or Judiasm, it would never fly. They have a very nice victim narrative, the best in the world”

In reality, feminist atheists, pagans, liberal Christians and Jews have openly attacked Judaism as the place where patriarchy started oppressing women. Feminists currently allege that modern Orthodox Jews treat women terribly and discriminate against them in the worst patriarchal ways which is more feminist bs. It was probably the first religion to formulate rights and protections especially for women. The feminazis claim that prior to Judaism the pagan religions were happy matriarchal fertility religions… In Israel, the country is reeling from the effects of feminist growth and influence the past 20+ years with its misandry influence and fracturing of family relationships. In Israel, it is literally against the law that a woman can be prosecuted for rape even for that of a child. The feminists know how to play off the Orthodox white-knights there and here. Back to America, the attack on American Jews is done primarily by Jewish Feminists who seek to undermine the core morals, beliefs, unity, and values from within. They have done tremendous damage the past 45+ years and it doesn’t help that the Orthodox male Rabbis are often white-knights who believe the feminist statistics on rape, domestic violence, and murder claims.

Ryu, are you by chance a self-hating fat Jewish feminist?

Perhaps she would have been happier to be a woman oh, say a hundred years ago. No electric appliances to speak of. Women spent most of their time washing cloths, dishes, cooking, cleaning, taking care of children. That is what they had to do to keep a husband supporting them. The only other option was to be a whore like the unhappy woman in the clip.

Women have never had it so good. They should shut up and be happy.

Yup, pretty much, but I think it’s even more interesting than that. Not that long ago, it’s been estimated that about 1/3 of the women in London were married, about 1/3 were char women (housecleaners), and about 1/3 were whores. So, basically, the women that were married paid other women a pittance to scrub their floors, do the laundry, and clean out the fireplaces. It’s my impression is that the married women maintained a strict and distinct boundry between them and the other women. The whores presumably did their own laundry. It was probably different in the countryside, where men needed their wives to support him so that he could support her.

If feminists hate men, and since no holiday comes to mind that can be extricated completely from men, as even the turkey baster needs semen (and men probably invented the centrifuge that sorts X sperm cells and Y sperm cells) so the dyke couple can conceive a kid out of wedlock but in principle cannot celebrate Mother’s Day as fetuses need semen to exist, but Jehovah’s Witnesses expect the FATHER to almost always be the head of the Jehovah’s Witness nuclear family, I wonder what the feminist is left to do.

Oh, that’s right. She is left to not celebrate a single holiday of any religion or country, nor be a Jehovah’s Witness if she wants to have any principle left when it comes to holidays, but then again “feminist principle” is another oxymoron.

Im sure that song has cowed hundreds of little girls into gender stereotypes over the years. while we cant do anything about the generations of battered women this hateful song has created, at the very least we can demand it be taken off the airwaves. I say we band together this christmas and empower our daughters by buying them a toy gun instead of the barbie they asked for. She’ll thank you later!

Feminism envisions either a world without men; or at least one where men are kept in a state of subservient subhumanism. Christmas has to go, along with all other religious holidays and traditional religions. All traditional religions and their associated holidays stress the importance of monogamous marriage and family; and feminists exalt feminine independence, abortion, and misandry.

Christina Hoff Summer wrote something about a feminist Harvard teacher who “discovered” “hidden notes about rape” in Beethoven symphony.

No so long ago feminist were complaining about a video game franchise for Nintendo DS called “cooking mama” you can guess why, put women in the kitchen and cooking, feminists wrote to Nintendo for a new version of the game with the character in high status jobs they even suggested the name “CEO mama” “Doctor mama” “Executive mama” etc, of course Nintendo didn’t pay attention and keep selling “cooking mama” the game was so good among women and girls that new version were released “Cooking Mama 2: Dinner with Friends”, “Cooking Mama: Cook Off” and “Cooking Mama: World Kitchen” for the WII console.

I still remember watching women playing frying eggs in the subway, you can see how mush they enjoy it, I m pretty sure a “CEO” version will be a failure. they din’t pay attention but theirs DS screen, companies know women like this kind of stuff, not matter how successful and master degree women have they love to be in the house cooking and cleaning in the real or virtual world, do you notice how women are the target for games like “The Sims” or the “FarmVille” for Facebook?

Like Simone Beauvoir said:

“No woman should be authorized to stay at home and raise her children. Society should be totally different. Women should not have that choice, precisely because if there is such a choice, too many women will make that one.”

Feminists can never be funny without tearing something traditional down first. Every single instance of feminist comedy is always a parody and always of the vile, mean-spirited variety (although in some cases, that venom is disguised by a veneer of good-natured gaiety and smiles).

And ever notice how they’re always so insulting in their comedy? They never make fun of themselves, only other people. Mostly men, female “traitors”, and heterosexuals.

And forget about sheer goofiness. Feminists are incapable of goofiness.

I would have to say to date, I have only seen one feminist capable of goofiness and that is Ellen DeGenres. And that’s only because of her performance as Dory, the blue tang from “Finding Nemo” (which I’ll admit, was awesome).

And you see how I was able to admit E. DeGenres did a good job?

Feminists can never do that if a red-blooded male is involved in a movie.

Ever notice that?

Feminists are never capable of giving even a tiny amount of credit to anything regular males or anything male-oriented.

You’ll never see a feminist say, “Oh yeah, this movie was totally violent, sexist, and demeaning, but that bare-chested guy leading the squadron was pretty hot. Rowr!”

Yeap!

In European Union many governments are pusing extremely unpopular pension system reforms because of “unpleasant demographic situation”. Giant black clouds of abortion-guilt, contraception-hangover and spinsterhood-discomfot looming over the female population are so obvious, they can almost be touched. Many of them women would rather spend the Christmas holiday hidden in the muslim ghetto than have to watch all those cute pictures and plaster figures of BABY Jesus, born in the stable. I hope they don’t yet go berserk this year and start burning churches and feeding priests and monks (and perhaps even nuns) to the lions in the zoo. Ordinary men will of course get their generous share of “Man up and solve the demographic problem until friday next!” education, one way or another.

On a lighter note, perhaps Santa Claus will finally fulfil my wish this year and invent a virus of “chronical feminist laryngitis” that will make all the nagging wimmin on the planet go mute and bring Global Peace to man kind.

…but if I must take it seriously, then where, I enquire, back in the 1950s, were the female lyricists – for I assume even without checking – that each of the five song’s lyrics were written by men? No, don’t tell me – the women were as usual being oppressed by the Patriachy; being kept at home with all the time in the world, and nothing to do… …except write Xmas song lyrics . No hang on…

‘So here it is merry xmas,
Everybody’s having fun
Look to the future
It’s only just begun’.

That little ditty by Slade, is THE xmas song here (though I assume unknown in the USA – and thus also unknown to Ms Paste-face) but I have little doubt that were she to be acquainted with it she would find fault – how dare, men have fun?.

In European Union many governments are pusing extremely unpopular pension system reforms because of “unpleasant demographic situation”. Giant black clouds of abortion-guilt, contraception-hangover and spinsterhood-discomfot looming over the female population are so obvious, they can almost be touched.

Actions have consequences.
Let these spinsters get what they deserve. These spinsters can live the last 25% of their life, sharing a 2 bedroom, 1 bath dingy apartment with 5 other roommates…or whatever arrangement they can muster with with the money they have leftover.

Nobody is going to starve to death but the living conditions will get tighter

I propose that in future we abandon the use of the word Feminst – which gives too much authority to these harpies, and return to the word that was used at the beginning of the 18th century: Bluestocking. Rather appropriate I would say, especially at this time of the year. Let me begin; Miss Sarkeesian is a Bluestocking.

Just an FYI, Bill:

“Baby, It’s Cold Outside” is not a Dean Martin song per se. He just covered it on his Xmas album in 1966. The song dates back to the mid-1940s (!) and was written by Frank Loesser — the guy who wrote the musical “Guys and Dolls.” It was introduced by Bing Crosby and Margaret Whiting.

So to be “relevant,” feminists have had to exhume a song from the Greatest Generation. To paraphrase the Beatles, this song was actually a hit before (most of) our mothers were born.

Maybe next up, feminists can go back to the 1800s and pick through Stephen Foster’s lyrics.

About men never having it so good as they do today. I would disagree. Though life has naturally had its difficult aspects in the past for men because of less technology, it was much better for men “back in the day” because they had some control over “their” women and children and subsequently, their mothers, wives and daughters weren’t the insane, selfish, neglectful, know it all, abusive, intolerable, intolerant, ungrateful, illogical, disease ridden, ignorant, cold-hearted, murderous, society destroying, un-virtuous, non-cooking, un-motherly, divorce causing, poverty causing, deadweight dysgenic bastard and sons of bitches creating sluts and bitches our women are today. (Sorry for the overly abbreviated list.)

I’d rather work in a fucking coal mine and live in a shack with a good wife surrounded by human dignity than live with the modern feminist bitches we’re forced to deal with today. Working in a coal mine would be hard no doubt, but it wouldn’t be as fucked up as what so many men in our society have had to deal with in their marriages with their “wives and the state” during this era of female dominance.

That is why for me, the sooner the shit hits the fan the better. I think we all need to experience hunger and fear to the point that we our backs are up against the wall. I can imagine the following playing out in small and large groups of hungry and scared and hackle raised people everywhere. The discussion of what to we do now arises… A man makes a suggestion and a bitch insultingly puts him down. She is promptly knocked the fuck out by a real fucking man and the other women and manginas and white knights understand that it is a new day. And it will be like spring is in the air.

This is a female’s idea of a Christmas song:

Santa baby, slip a sable under the tree, for me
I’ve been an awful good girl
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa baby, an out-of-space convertible too, light blue
I’ll wait up for you dear
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Think of all the fun I’ve missed
Think of all the fellas that I haven’t kissed
Next year I could be oh so good
If you’d check off my Christmas list
Boo doo bee doo

Santa honey, I wanna yacht and really that’s
Not a lot
I’ve been an angel all year
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa cutie, there’s one thing I really do need, the deed
To a platinum mine
Santa cutie, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa baby, I’m filling my stocking with a duplex, and checks
Sign your ‘X’ on the line
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Come and trim my Christmas tree
With some decorations bought at Tiffany’s
I really do believe in you
Let’s see if you believe in me
Boo doo bee doo

Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing, a ring
I don’t mean a phone
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Hurry down the chimney tonight
Hurry down the chimney tonight

I just could not finish watching that eyerolling harpy past 2:00. How sad to live in a world where each and every word and act by a male is a form of rape, stalking, harassment, potential genocide…
Just last night a young female I know was telling me about having been “stalked” numerous times on her college campus by males her own age. My god, to be talked about behind one’s back! To be shown sexual intrest by a penis-owner; oh! the Humanity! At any moment one might actually ASK FOR A DATE!!! Trying to explaine what was going on to her made no difference. Telling her that young men act like assholes all the time to get sex was totally wasted air. No, something sinister was going on and, you guessed it; I’m now on the “rape supporter” list. Oh well, might as well make it worth my while. Where’s that damm duct tape anyways..?

St. Anthony was indeed one of the richest illiterate peasants in his village. So, according to the Roman imperial tax laws, he was obliged not only to pay enormous wheat-tax himself, but also extort enormous wheat-tax from his poorer neighbours, so the Roman tax collectors wouln’t need to visit every house in the village themselves. And if he refused or failed to do so, his own land would be confiscated and his family sold to slavery. So it went. (It was actually one of the most efficient tax collecting methods in history. It caused so much poverty, rebellions and even mass suicides, that the Roman Empire never recovered from it.)

After St.Anthony generously dropped the tax burden of his property to his neigbours’ shoulders, he lived in 3 places:

a) an ancient egyptian grave hole in the west desert plain, overlooking his village in the Nile valley
b) a place described as “abandoned Roman fort” (but it was more likely to be an abandoned desert robbers nest) on the other side of the Nile, a bit more up the river.
c) In a natural cave in the eastern mountains overlooking the Red Sea, where he died.

That’s true.
“Oh Susannah” has patriarchal overtones, such as “Banjo on my knee” being a reference to an erect phallic symbol. Also, “The buckwheat cake was in her mouth” is an obvious reference to forced oral sex.

Speaking of monks – I just thought: Are not nuns actually feminists of some kind?!

After all, they live in secured women-only environment of convents, they are subordinate to one alpha male ( officially to Jesus, unofficially to their local bishop and/or pope in Rome), but they are fed by a crowd of beta males (local men donating money or goods to the convent).

However their happy girlie life comes with a price tag: Poverty, ascetism, celibacy, childlessness, patience (avoiding “Jesus loves me more than He loves you” catfights) and, in many orders, also active usefulness to society (nursing, schoolteaching, feeding homeless…).

It seems the traditional churches were aware of female hypergamy and tried to usefully socialize it in the form of nunhood. But then feminism took all the goodies of the nun status, but on the other hand, refused to pay the price.

To sum it up: Modern feminist are actually NUNS GONE WILD :)

The only other option was to be a whore like the unhappy woman in the clip.

Women have never had it so good. They should shut up and be happy.”

Baby it’s cold outside definitely implies that the girl is at the man’s house. Basic PUA strategy tells any man that if he wants to make it with a girl that he has a far greater chance of success by taking her to his place and ensuring that she has the choice to leave at anytime, which is exactly what Dean is doing in the lyrics.

‘If you ast me there ought to be a dang “War on Christmas”. I hate this infernal female holiday and its orgy of shopping/road rage excess’

It wouldn’t be so bad if we had a Saturnalia and had real orgies but this gift giving has got to go. The only one I give a gift to is myself. Everyone should just buy their own gift and make it easy rather than have females returning the gifts after Christmas because they’re never satisfied with anything. Ever notice that?

“I stupidly acquired a wife on Nov.27, who has a birthday Dec.20. The damn New Year’s hangover is barely behind me when this stupid “Valentine’s Day” crap starts.”

There shuld be no girlfriends or ‘relationships”between the start of these holidays in Nov. and Feb 15. Avoid all of the drama and stupid gift giving. And declare the entire month of January a legal holoday with all courts and government agencies shut down. The girls won’t be ding any divorce filing and we’ll dedect a month’s salary from the useless flinkies who work for the government (you won’t even miss them)

‘It’s like you can’t even scratch your nuts in this country without someone expecting a payment for it.’

War on Christmas? Guys come on. Winter Solstice has been celebrated since time Immimorial. The death of winter and the beginning of rebirth and life. The Romans celebrated Mithra at solstice. The pagans brought in their trees to worship. The Catholics apporpriated it and assigned it to Jesus’ birthday to convert the unfaithful. Anyway, tons of religions/faithes celebrate in winter, so happy holidays is fair from a government and business point of view. From a personal point of view, nobody is stopping you from saying and doing what the hell you want. You just have to share your public space with others who may not worship as you do. As an atheist I could care less but don’t claim to be rational men and then not think rationally. If there is a war on christmas it is one in your own home and if you are a man you’ll defend what you believe, but you won’t try to push it on me. I don’t believe in Jesus so I couldn’t care less about it being called Christmas, Festivus, Kwanzaa, Hanukah, Mithrimas, or solstice. Rationality is the way forward.
