Vancouver BC — three teens went online to lure men into liaisons with fictitious teen girls, then met with them dressed as superheroes and denounced them on camera.
Of course, it’s a bad idea to meet underage girls online, but in most of these stings it is the “girls” who are taking the initiative, which is entrapment. It really isn’t very hard to find men willing to take the bait when sexually mature (i.e. post-pubescent) females offer sex, so there’s nothing heroic about luring guys in such a manner. It’s actually a pretty lousy thing to do, and likely only encourages those who are not caught to make a go of it. It’s akin to offering drinks to former alcoholics.
The boys who filmed the encounters must have thought it was funny, and a good way to get some positive attention, but if they’d pulled this stunt on the wrong man they could well have ended up dead. If I ever caught my son doing that as a teen, I’d be pretty angry about it, mainly because I’d be worried about him. Unfortunately, the message a lot of young men are getting these days is that this kind of dangerous, amateur white knighting is acceptable and to be commended.

In my opinion, the best (and most humane) way to cut down on older male/teen girl sex is to discourage sexual precocity and promiscuity amongst unmarried young females. Having a society in which teen sexuality is blared from every TV screen (e.g. Miley Cyrus) is only going to encourage men to see girls as sexually available. Today, the solution is draconian statutory rape laws to discourage people from acting on impulses, but this is akin to flooding the country with cocaine and threatening people with very stiff sentences if they buy a rock of crack.

I disagree. If it were a crime every time someone under the age of 18 engaged in sexual relations with someone else, the overwhelming majority of Americans would be sex criminals.
In my state, the age of consent is 12, which is reasonable. If a 12-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl have sex together, it is not a crime in Washington state, and I support that standard. Of course, if an adult has sex with a 12-year-old it would be criminal, and that’s reasonable, too, but minors can and do legally consent to sex all the time.
Consent with adults over four years older than the minor is accepted at age 16 in WA, which is also reasonable in my opinion. A 22-year-old male who sleeps with a 17-year-old female is neither a pervert nor a criminal, but rather a normal young man engaging in entirely normal human sexuality. Same goes for a 16-year-old male with a 25-year-old female.
If older women had their way, men over 30 would be arrested for sleeping with 23-year-old women, and that’s ridiculous. It’s all about “me” here. Nothing else.
Listening to women where these matters are concerned is an enormous waste of time. Men, who happen to be fathers as well as lovers and husbands, are perfectly capable of being pragmatic and reasonable here. But you still had to be 21 to marry (18 for females) without parental consent because that was the legal age for contracts etc. Today the age is 18 for both sexes.
And btw, the age for a male in Mexico to marry without consent is 20. A pregnant female can marry at 14 but needs a parents’ of judge’s consent. Under a certain age you can’t marry at all. It’s odd but that in some of the most liberal and feminised places the age to marry is low.

So the question is, what arbitrary age of consent do you choose? Every state has a different answer. There is much to agree with in your submission. Over the centuries, both our edudcation system and Feminists have pushed for the stretching of childhood well into adulthood.
The Bible states clearly that, (paraquote) “Her breasts were formed and she was ready for love.” Most Aboriginal groups in Canada and the USA hold that adulthood starts at puberty. Traditionally, culturally speaking, Hebrews hold that adulthood starts around age 12 [bar mitsfa/bahmistfa (spelling?)].
My maternal grandmother got married late at 19 instead of 14 as WWI had intervened and her fiance had joined the British Army (Royal Flying Corps/RAF) and wasn’t discharged in Canada until 1919. Their next-door neighbor was married at 14 and had several children and was responsible.
The body is ready for sex by the early teens typically. The culture which avoids responsibility is the problem. Let’s grow up and have children at younger ages and avoid the problems of Feminist-style responsibility avoidance with its higher rates of birth defects and allergies with older mothers.

Every young person could be a POTENTIAL VICTIM (caps lock is cruise control for cool) and that right must be protected at all costs. No young person should be responsible for what they do or what happens to them if they are young, well except if they murder somebody or something. They totally should know better!
Did you know that men find girls who have hit puberty and have secondary sexual characteristics attractive? Did you know that men value looks more compared to women? Did you know that men have greater sexual drives than women? Did you know that men instinctively like younger girls? Did you know that most of the time when men and women have sexual relationships that that man is usually older? Did you know that other people have feelings and viewpoints that are different from yours and that whatever you and your feminist overlords say aren’t automatically “correct”?
Men are programmed to acquire young and beautiful girls. Women are programmed to acquire a man who provides resources and is able to be violent to protect her and her offspring from danger. This is how life works.

My friends, allow me to educate you on the problem with age-disparate relationships/sex and why it is in the best interests of both MRAs and ‘feminists’ to eradicate the ubiquitous psycho-/biological disease that is at the root of such behaviour.
First of all, I think that I see why it is so easy for so many of you to think that 50 year old guys screwing 16 year old girls is okay. It seems to me that the underlying assumption of this claim is that, for the purpose of romance, a 16 year old (or 14, or 17, etcetera) girl is mentally equivalent to a much older woman. Given the current state of our species, culture, and male-female relationships, I’d have to say that strictly speaking, that may very well hold true for a significant percentage of females (especially the dumber ones). However, I think you may have neglected to consider the causes of this most astonishing phenomenon. There are two possible explanations for it, both of which I will discuss, but first keep in mind that one of the most common arguments used in favor of old dude/young girl relationships in these comments seems to be that older men (or at least some of them) are much more mature, accomplished, and intelligent than the girl’s teenage male peers, and therefore make better mates.
Moving on to the two aforementioned explanations for 16 year olds making perfectly good wives, one or both of which could be true:
(1) ) 16 year olds are mentally equivalent in every way to much older women. This means that the female brain (unlike the male brain, so you argue) does not change in any notable way whatsoever after the age of about 16. In other words, the cognitive development of the females of our species is SEVERELY STUNTED compared to that of the males, and consequently adult females are butt stupid compared to males their age.
(2) The ways in which 16 year olds and adult women are not mentally equivalent are not important as far as sexual relationships go. In other words, even if females, like males, become more mature, accomplished, and intelligent with age, it does not make them more attractive as mates in any way, even though the opposite is true for males.
I understand that most readers of the Spearhead dislike the fact that the females of our species tend to be utterly stupid, useless, and care only about their vaginas. If so, I implore you to put your money where your mouth is and do something about it. Here’s what you do: The former scenario implies that something is severely wrong with the sexual dimorphism of our species and female humans should be bred to have more male-like brains ASAP. In the latter scenario, males apparently don’t care about their mate’s intellectual abilities and only want to have sex with the youngest females with the perkiest tits, therefore making females stupider (or at least not any smarter) by both biological and cultural (i.e. teaching women that nobody cares how smart or accomplished they are so they shouldn’t even try) mechanisms. Both possibilities entail that only the most intelligent females should get to breed and be respected/admired if women are to become less stupid and stop giving you MRAs such headaches. Telling middle aged dudes and teenage girls that it’s great to hook up with each other is counterproductive to this goal at best, so please cut it out, tell the middle-aged guys to go have sex with somebody who isn’t a dumbass, and tell the teenage girls to do something useful with their lives. And in case it isn’t obvious, yes, I think that older women boinking teenage boys is just as bad.

Why do you expect teenage girls to have better judgement than a thirty year old man? Are you saying that teenage girls should have better judgement than thirty and forty year old men? Study after study shows that teenager’s brains are not fully developed and inherantly have poor judgement. The men that chase after little girls have no excuse.

I don’t see how expecting adult men not to rape girls is “akin to offering a former alcoholic a beer”
If a young girl propositions sex to an adult, it is up to the adult to say no, because it is up to the adult not to rape a child.
If a minor solicits sex from an adult, I think it’s safe to assume they are not in a healthy environment, and it’s SICK to take advantage of that.
