The Decline and Fall of Antioch College

by Pro-male/Anti-feminist Tech on March 2, 2011

In my last post I predicted that the University of Cincinnati would collapse due to its embrace of feminism and leftism at the expense of real scientific disciplines like computer science. Several commenters brought up the example of Antioch College which had collapsed due to its embrace of feminism and leftism.

Antioch College was originally founded in 1853 in Ohio by the Christian Connection movement and the Unitarian Church.  Beginning in the 1940s it became a hotbed of progressivism and one of the first colleges to experience leftist student activism.  This continued to the 1960s when Antioch College became one of the primary locations of student radicalism, the New Left, the anti-Vietnam War movement, and the Black Power movement in that part of the US.  The 1970s were more of the same for Antioch College, but it expanded to include several satellite campuses under the name of Antioch University.  In the late 1970s Antioch College started having problems with its finances and experienced a decline in enrollment from around 2000 students to around 1000 students.  While Antioch College’s financial situation stabilized in the 1980s it never was able to increase student enrollment beyond 1000 students.

Antioch College started having problems again in the early to mid 1990s when its “Sexual Offense Prevention Policy” received national publicity.  According to the policy, consent for sexual behavior must be mutual, verbal, and reiterated for each new step of sexual behavior.  The original version policy was created at Antioch College’s “Womyn’s Center” due to the agitation of a group of students called “Womyn of Antioch” and called for immediate expulsion of any man accused of a sexual offense with no rights given to the accused.  A revised version of what the “Womyn’s Center” wrote became policy for Antioch College.  Even the revised version was so absurd that it became the basis of a Saturday Night Live sketch called “Is It Date Rape?”

Things continued to deteriorate at Antioch College so that by 2000 Mumia Abu Jamal and transgendered rights activist, Leslie Feinberg, were invited to be speakers at that year’s commencement.  This also recieved national publicity, and in the few years after enrollment declined to 600 students.  By 2003 the situation at Antioch College deteriorated to the point where a renewal plan was started.  This was done alongside deep cuts in staff which included eliminating Antioch College’s Office for Multicultural Affairs.  The led to a student protest called the “People of Color Takeover”.  Antioch College created the “Coretta Scott King Center for Cultural and Intellectual Freedom” in response to that protest but Antioch College still deteriorated.  By 2007 enrollment had declined to 370 students.  Also during 2007 the faculty of Antioch College filed a lawsuit against its Board of Trustees.  Soon after operations were suspended at Antioch College, and it was closed in 2008.

Currently there are plans to reopen Antioch College in the fall of this year.  Even if Antioch College reopens it is unlikely that it will ever regain the status it had.

It is refreshing to hear about the real world failure of feminist institutions. It gives me hope that soon feminism will start collapsing in on itself.

This is a good article, I’ve often wondered if post-secondary institutions were shooting themselves in the foot by getting (publicly) too cosy (and indeed becoming one with) with the Feminist and Marxist fifth columns.
The seem to forget regularly that they hold views which are not accepted by 90% of the rest of the population, and they only survive by obfuscation, secrecy and even some self-preservatory discretion, on their part.

With the greatest respect, your conclusion is too negative…

Even if Antioch College reopens it is unlikely that it will ever regain the status it had.

I have full confidence that the lefties have learnt nothing, it will regain its status as national laughing stock within years.

‘Progressives’ have a curious mix of pure stupidity together with an absolute inability to face reality and complete commitment to shouting down any criticism (constructive, or otherwise).

Was there ever a non-shitehole marxist country?

PC thinking and behavior along with feminism can only go on so long as they are dependent on the slave labor of others. Imaging that wealth and power can simply be stolen err transferred and then the leftist utopia to continue is unrealistic as the mechanics of such a society are unnatural.

The above example at Antioch is representative why I don’t necessarily believe the American people will wake up en-mass and change course before a collapse hits America. To quote Thatcher: ‘the problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.’

America could use 12 solid months of Sharia Law. After that cleanup, go back to the US Constitution and Bill of Rights. Unfortunately, I don’t see that happening.

The Progressives and Feministas will be doing alot of crying in years to come as institutions collapse (lack of $ and investors~ MEN!) and they’ll be screaming for politicians to find them $ elsewhere in the population.
Want another shining example? The boo-ha-hah over the defunding of PLANNED PARENTHOOD….
Funny thing about socialism…it epic-fails once there is no more $$ to be siphoned from the hard-working and successful citizenry.

My main concern is that public universities get a ton of welfare from the gov’t already. Will they just keep getting more government cheese so the Marxists and man-haters can keep their jobs?

I would be really interested to see the enrollment data by gender. The number of students dropped very quickly after the college enacted the draconian date rape/consent rules. My guess is that all the guys realized they had a target painted on their butts and got out quick. Then all the women who weren’t the most hardcore feminists decided to leave because their were no guys to have fun with anymore.

I can’t imagine trying to get down with a girl and then stopping to say “Do I have your consent to touch you boob? Can I take off your pants and lick your vagina?” That would take all passion and excitement out of it. Girls would lose interest. My girlfriend gets most excited when I am rough and unexpected.

I submitted an article about internet dating which is either in the queue still or has been rejected.

If I talk nicely to women on dating sites, I get nowhere.

If I tell them I am going to fuck them rotten in all their holes and video it and make them beg to suck my dick, they keep coming back for more.

I’m about 25 years past the point where I last tried to work this out, now I just accept it and go with the flow.

It (these archived EXPLICIT emails and SMS and video) also provides excellent proof against any future False Rape Accusations, to such an extent that there will be sufficient evidence to prosecute them for Perverting the Course of Justice.

They were pretty darned infamous for those silly “verbal consent required for every escalation” rules that displayed invincible ignorance about how sex actually *works* between men and women. It was good to see them crash and burn, I’ll admit. It would be too bad if they managed to get back on their feet — some dragons need to remain slain.

- birth (foundation of the school)
- rise (19th century +)
- peak (1940′s)
-stagnation (60′s and 70′s)
- slow decline (idiotic sex policy)
-step decline (inviting transgendered speakers)
- death rattle (2007-2008)
- death (2011? 2012?)

I’m going off-topic with this, but I find it vastly amusing that I spent the last third of my career as a full-time instructor teaching college grads how to do the job for which they’d been hired – I, who had only a high-school diploma but decades of true learning in “the trenches”. I believe I was actually and effectively taught more in my high school than many of my students had learned in college.

Once the cash is gone (other peoples) they dry up … the collage could not sustain itself due to lack of paying students….

Why not hoist Feminist’s upon their own petard. If all collage campuses are nothing but “Rapist Hunting Grounds” ya know the good old 1 in4 bit. Lets play it up! A collage campus is the most dangerous place in the country! What ever you do, DO NOT sent your kids to ANY place of higher learning if your daughter isn’t gang raped every week she will be enticed into amateur porn! and drugs! Your sons will (if they haven’t already) Become the rapist “We” always knew they could be, OR accused of it regardless. If you look at the “statistics” any parent knowingly sending their son or daughter to one of these places should be held legally accountable for placing them in obvious danger!

The cost is to high the danger to great! don’t send your kids to collage!

How would the Leftist/progressive / Feminist Cabal feel if we simply Pushed THEIR agenda thus making it the “safest” choice to NOT feed the beast.
somebody think of the children!

They will have to either eat crow, or choke on it and die.

Meanwhile i would like to suggest to many of the VERY learned and possibly accredited MRM members to band together and consider creating different option for higher learning for our Men young and old. There HAS to be a number of Professors and Teachers who are sick of the PC craziness and wish to teach valuable subjects to people who want to learn. I have no idea what it would take im sure it would be hard and costly. I for one would pay to go to and pay for my child to go to such a school even if it meant sending them to even another country or even a reservation. I wonder if any American Indian Tribe would be willing to host a University based on Solid values and true scholarship.

OT; Study: Scientists develop first reliable test for prostate cancer
Submitted by fondueguy on Wed, 2011-03-02 00:10.
Article here. Excerpt:

‘Guildford – Scientists at the University of Surrey have developed a unique urine test, which is twice as effective at diagnosing cancer that has developed in the prostate than the current prostate specific antigen (PSA) test.

The findings are being hailed as a major breakthrough in the early diagnosis of prostate cancer in men. The urine test is so accurate it could be in use to screen all men over 50 within twelve months. Scientists have found a protein called E-N-2, which is only produced by prostate cancer cells. The new test identifies E-N-2, and detects 60 to 70 per cent of cancers.’

Good timing because March* is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.

*In the UK. In the US, it’s September. Too bad it’s not all 12 months, though..

Female studies is a pile of worthless shite (IMHO), why are we talking about correcting that problem by creating male studies?

I sure that the lecturers are all for it; jobs for the useless waster lecturers.

The solution is a clear out of worthless subjects, not adding another one.

Subsidise STEM degrees and hands on tech training. You’ll be doing everyone a favour – women’s studies / sociology / fine arts / politics / anthroplogy etc etc are worthless degrees. Graduates have immense loans and get no jobs, they’re better off not wasting the time and money.

IMHO (clearly)

Feminists intentionally demand this behavior, because they want women to lose interest in men. It is done on purpose. When women feel vagina tingles for men, they respect and follow them. When women feel no vagina tingles, they become bitter man-haters and depend on their vibrators (direct clitoral stimulation) for pleasure. Radical Feminists are using operant conditioning to kill women’s natural attraction and healthy submissiveness to men.

It is very simple. If a man is forbidden to take the lead in the bedroom, he is forbidden to take the lead in any other way.

Since none of us know the future we can make guesses.

If left unchecked, I believe that this feminist juggernaut will continue until every last productive corperation, educational institution, government agency and productive individuals leave the US or are destroyed by the same feminists that destroyed Antioch.

The feminist parasites will not leave the host until it is completely and absolutely dead. And like the flea’s they are, they will jump onto the next poor host and start to bleed it.

Look at Antioch, surely a feather in the cap of the feminist educational industry. The feminist hyenas killed it, dead. Left nothing on the carrion but bones.

Our country right now is controlled by a few very wealthy people, an Oligarchy, that has hired a few semi-smart people who graduated from the right university, Harvard (as an affirmative action hire), example, Obama, the Clintons.

These people doing the day to day running for the country are very very invested in “experts” running the country. I think they see it as similar to Plato’s philosopher Kings from “The Republic”.

Our founding FATHERS were very much influenced by the thoughts of the Ancient Greek philosophers as well as more current thinkers of the time like John Locke.

So there is no way that our leaders will elimate the source of their ideas and decisions, the liberal marxist professors that were their teachers. As long as someone goes to college, to keep those professors in Prius’s, our government will extend ever greater government money until college is an extension of welfare for women 18-22 so their parents don’t have to support them.

And why not. Even for the expensive schools, it is daddy, not mommy paying, therefore, it is a transfer of wealth, as much as 120K from men to university professors, male feminst mangina’s and actual female, well, mangina’s.

For most men going to college, they have to support themselves, mommy doesn’t care if Johnny gets an education, she was taught well in college, even her Johnny, on turning 12, is a potential rapist. Thats why 12 year old boys are not allowed in DV shelters.

So college becomes a transfer of wealth from boys to university professors, this is much more pernicious as these boys will take their entire lives to pay back these loans. For degrees that make them targets for femininazi’s in training looking for the MRS degree.

These young men will end up paying the goverment 1K a month for student loan, cupcake, 2 k per month for alimony, and another 3K per month for the rugrats. All of whom hate him like he was a serial killer rapists of new born babies.

So his financial imprisonment is complete. He works his life long. Lives in a 500 square foot single apartment. And if he misses a payment it becomes a real prison or he must wear a GPS device so the slave cannot escape.

He is a slave.

Except some if not most slaves were able to have wives and children:

“Slave Marriages

Most slave-owners encouraged their slaves to marry. It was believed that married men was less likely to be rebellious or to run away. Some masters favoured marriage for religious reasons and it was in the interests of plantation owners for women to have children. Child-bearing started around the age of thirteen, and by twenty the women slaves would be expected to have four or five children. To encourage childbearing some plantation owners promised women slaves their freedom after they had produced fifteen children. Several slaves recorded in their autobiographies that they were reluctant to marry women from the same plantation. ”

http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/USASmarriage.htm

So to young guys get an education for you, not some mythical dream of a family and loving wife, our women gave that up 80 years ago.

If you want children use a surrogate.

Do it for you and be careful about the ROI, return on investment, or the cost of college versus what you will make with that degree because student loans are permanent and you are the collateral.

The reason it sounds like Sweden, IMO, is that our intelligencia is brainwashing our young men and women into thinking this is normal so that 20 years from now, these laws will seem like common sense.

My daughter will be starting college this Fall. She want’s to be a Veterinarian (been saying this since she was 6 years old), so I’m looking at 8 years of College to pay! I dated a woman a while back who was from Nicaragua originally. Her parent’s are still there, and we went visit down there while we were dating. A Doctor, Dentist, Lawyer, etc, only goes to school for 5 years in Nicaragua. The first year is the basic classes, Spanish, Math, Science. The next 4 years is your actual schooling, i.e. Doctor, Lawyer, etc. I told her it was like going to Vocational School. You only take the courses required to get your doctorate (Vocation). In the U.S.A. what are the other three years of college filled up with that you actually need to have to go to the advance degrees? Are the colleges requiring these courses just so people have to spend more time, and money, to these places? Is this why it is costing more?

I just stopped by one of the feminist sites. A feminist poster (not seemingly attractive) made a statement how she hates those Azz-xxxxx men who objectify women into being their fetish. Her head-shot photo was next to her post. She was wearing a mask over her eyes with eyes slits and she was spouting bright red lipstick.

This is why ultimately the NWO will fail even if it does succeed for a time. The NWO and feminism is not natural and human. In this one small example, men are biologically born with far more visual neuro-receptors (I can’t recall the technical names) than women have so we respond more assertively to visual stimuli. If womyn do not want to be treated like sluts or sexually objectified then they need to grow up, gain some emotional maturity, and dress like an adult woman.

There was an outdoor auditorium with a large mural of some 1970 era hallucinogenic-hipsters. Interesting thing was the mural featured the dudes in prominence with their women in supporting poses. Most likely painted by a chick. Definitely patriarchal; I’ll bet the Womyn painted over it since then.

By Danielle Steele :

Meet Maxine Williams, a dedicated doctor with three great kids, a challenging career, and the perfect new man in her life. Her only problem? Her irresistibly charming, utterly infuriating ex-husband, aka the . . .

Rogue

Being married to Blake had been an amazing adventure for Maxine. Brilliant, charismatic, and wholly unpredictable, Blake Williams made millions and grabbed headlines as a dot-com entrepreneur. His only shortcoming was as a husband—first his work and then his never-ending quest for fun kept him constantly on the move, far away from Maxine and his family. For five years Blake and Maxine have worked out an odd but amicable divorce, with friendly though infrequent visits, a yacht he lends her every summer, and three children they both adore. Blake enjoys his globe-trotting lifestyle—dating a succession of beautiful, famous, and very young women—while Maxine raises their kids in Manhattan and pursues her passion, working as a psychiatrist, a world-renowned expert on childhood trauma and adolescent suicide. Then everything changes….

For Maxine it starts when she falls in love with Dr. Charles West, a man who is everything Blake is not—mature, grounded, and present. For Blake it begins when a devastating earthquake strikes near one of his palatial foreign homes and he sees hundreds of orphaned children in need of shelter. Now Blake wants Maxine in his life again—as a partner in a humanitarian project that could change countless lives. For Maxine the choice is clear. But Blake’ s sudden transformation—from carefree playboy to compassionate, responsible grown-up—raises questions she’s never managed to answer . . . and some she’s afraid to ask. After all, Maxine is on the cusp of a new life, about to marry Charles, and almost certain that Blake Williams, aka the Rogue, is a man capable of doing anything—except change….

An unforgettable story of two people pursuing happiness from opposite directions, Rogue is a journey of choices and the amazing opportunities that come together—just when life seems to have been successfully rearranged at last.

While reading the portion discussing increasing rates of student loan defaults in the Forbes article I couldn’t help but wonder if part of the increasing default rate is because previously, women amassing student loan debt while obtaining some useless BA degree could still snag some hard-working, responsible sucker to marry her and pay off her debt while she stayed home bitching about the wage gap. That’s not so much of an option today.

@CajunQM- the last time I checked, the average career length for female graduates of UC Davis School of Vet. Med. was six years. Average. Six years. After eight years of study. Assuming at least some women worked what would be considered for men a full career (~40 years), it’s clear that many female graduates only work for a few years after graduation. The State of California should not be subsidizing these students, as the rationale for subsidizing vet. students is that it benefits the residents of California by increasing and improving veterinary services.

Any of you who are interested in the career trajectories of graduates from your local medical, veterinary, or law school might want to ask the respective career services offices if they could provide that information to you according to the sex or gender of the graduates.

I think a similar effect is at work in the current villification of Charlie Sheen.

“Noteworthy alumnus: Steven Jay Gould, a lifelong opponent to evolutionary psychology.”
— Great writer. I’ve read several of his books on popular science (for us non-scientists).

“Radical Feminists are using operant conditioning to kill women’s natural attraction and healthy submissiveness to men. It is very simple. If a man is forbidden to take the lead in the bedroom, he is forbidden to take the lead in any other way.”
— Interesting comments. Still, it is no guarantee that a woman who lets a man take the lead behaving in a sweat traditional way will not later put a knife in his back and put him through the all too common nasty divorce.

It really is one of the most incredible stories in political history that it was mostly white men who built up western civilization (not without its faults) and mostly white women who tore down western civilization with the white men standing passively aside like sheeple letting it happen. After the white female dominated feminist utopia fails to blossom and endure it will be interesting to see the fate of what replaces it and the quality of life for white women.

The original version policy was created at Antioch College’s “Womyn’s Center” due to the agitation of a group of students called “Womyn of Antioch” and called for immediate expulsion of any man accused of a sexual offense with no rights given to the accused.

Someone should look up who these “womyn” exactly were and what they’re doing now. Maybe I will if I have time.

And colleges and universities around the country have become hostile environments for men. True sexists of academia, which includes 9 out of 10 to be generous, like the Duke 88, have wasted the human potential of three generations of young men.

What we fail to admit is the connection between this and the current rapid decline of our country.

And that’s why I have no hope we will.

And thank you for proving my point that the parasites will never admit what is happening and will not leave the US until it is dead and gone.

All the rage with the college crowd, the Wolverines also played for dances at Miami University of Ohio and for fraternity parties while continuing to perform as the house band for Doyle’s.

And so began the long road to campus rape hysteria.

And once again, Antioch leads the way in reducing rape and sexual abuse on campus by going POP! Thereby eliminating the campus on which such things can no longer occur. Hoo rah!

I’m sure others were as amused as I was in Mr. Correlation-is-not-causation’s comments about the decline in enrollment, followed immediately by the implication that rape/sexual abuse at Antioch was prevented, and caused, undoubtedly, by their absurd policies.

Antioch used to have a unique niche. I was there in 62-63, a freshman when Steve Gould was a senior. One of the first niches was that it was a good place for Jewish students who couldn’t get into the Ivy league because of quotas. The problem was that most other colleges got to be like Antioch. When I heard about the faculty reaction to false rape accusations at Duke, I thought gee, that’s what you would expect at Antioch. I was approached for donations by the alumni group, who wanted who wanted to reconstitute Antioch “with respect for faculty tenure.” Sorry, the only way to establish a viable college would be to dismiss most of the faculty and start over.

Antioch College crashed & burned, eh? Parallels the trajectory of a young
Jewish gal from the 70′s. When I knew her, she was a “stocky” little Lefty
who dated “Brother’s” for political reasons (supposedly) and could be counted upon to spout the Party Line anywhere, anytime. One year at AC
and she returned 25-30 lbs. “stockier” and a full-on-in-your-face dyke. Very unpleasant to be around as her inner demons were constantly on display.
The very last time I was in her presence she sat across the small room in a chair with her heels up next to her butt and legs splayed open. As I was directly across from this display, combined with her look of sheer hatred
towards me for “breathing while Male” the full understanding of “Feminism” became crystal clear. Antioch certainly educated me…

The feminist fuck-up of institutions started with the churches, because that’s where feminism itself started in the nineteenth century. Churches’ fault, so churches have to pay up. Simple law of karma.

Second, feminism invaded and fucked up education, so that is the next place where karma’s inescapable embrace is working. After that will be government.

Actually, karma is a scarier bitch than your unfriendly neighborhood feminist. Western bitches have put so much resentment, anger, hatred, pure evil into the stratosphere that they can’t help but be drinking their own satanic medicine. The only use I have for political partisans is as useful idiots. Unfortunately, they’re not that useful. One side spreading lies about men and the other side criminalizing men and sending them to their death in foreign wars.

Dutton on politics:

Liberal and conservative perspectives on most social issues have become extreme in their divergence. It is an error to pigeonhole this critique of the Duluth model as a “left–right” issue. It is not. It is a critique of ideologically driven suppression of science, rational policy models, and innovative, promising program development. Scientific empiricism is often rejected by both the left and the right when findings deviate from approved ideological or theological views. The “strange bedfellows” consensus about always-guilty, brute, male perpetrators and always-innocent, pure, female victims speaks to a deeper set of cultural archetypes underlying the shared prejudice of both the left and right on this issue. What is the appeal to “conservatives” of what appears to be a “liberal feminist” framing of this issue, with its use of activist rhetoric?

Simply put, it provides a rationale for the further criminalizing of deviance and an expansion of the power of the criminal justice system. There is a closed-mindedness shared by the left (“feminist”) and right (“law and order”) perspectives on the issue of domestic violence. Both views share a belief that the exercise of social control is the preferred response. Both share a commitment to the belief that criminal behavior (“battering”) is fully voluntary and strategic, independent of psychological or psychiatric mediation.

Actually, karma is a scarier bitch than your unfriendly neighborhood feminist.

Demographically, while the many new immigrants to America vote for social-welfare programs they are also very traditional people, other growing populations in America are Mormons, Asian, Hispanics (mostly Mexican), and the deeply-conservative Christians, Muslims, and Jews. Attempts to brainwash the kids in public school are a mixed bag of results. Increasingly, more women are not pro-feminists — yeah I know so they say that yet they love the biased laws in their favor.

No one really knows the future. The alpha-males and government alpha-females will still continue publicly pushing feminist programs to continue their big-picture game-plan of controlling the population through divide and conquer. Obama’s Admin are continuing the anti-male politics as if they are clueless or unconcerned that people are mostly, for various reasons, of the view that feminism has gone too far.

Personally, when it comes to my health, safety, liberty, and prosperity, I’m more concerned about the domestic forces that are against me in this country than I am some bearded guys hiding in a cold damp cave on the other side of the world.

In the US academic system there are only two true streams of funding.

1. Sports based funding for areas such as football, basketball etc. Athletic funding is used to alleviate shortfalls in funding from other sources, for the more popular university athletic programs, funding can amount to tens and in some cases hundreds of millions of dollars a year, if a new stadium or other facilities were being built. Boosters and alums can bring in donations which match or exceed what comes in from gov’t and other sources.

2. Research based grants and funding which in the more successful science oriented institutions can comprise 50% of the revenues of the institution, frequently up to 75% if alumni endowments are counted in.
Science and technology is where the big money is at, Harvard, MIT, Caltech, Stanford, Princeton are examples of institutions which have figured out this funding formula and doesn’t allow anyone monkey with it!

Numbers 1 and 2 require that the collage produce results! not inflammatory rhetoric, not political activism and the “bite the hand that feeds you” mentality.

If you can’t get jobs and careers for your “customers”, the undergraduate students, then future customers are going to see this and go elsewhere.
Nobody is going to foot the bill for their son or daughter to go to a leftist, radical institution to produce the next generation of radicals. Most alums will not donate their hard earned cash towards schools which promote radicalism. And most radicals never become wealthy enough to donate even a penny to the school they attended!

Feminism doesn’t produce anything, it destroys without replacing. It labels results oriented fields like engineering, the hard sciences and even the business field to be patriarchal and therefore to be eliminated.

Womyn’s studies, Gay/Lesbian studies, Left wing political thought, produces no revenues for the collage. Antioch learned the hard way about useless fields and radical leftist academics, they don’t pay the bills and they drive away all your customers.

Your customers are your students, and your students will not earn a living in the real world(though not the academic world) shouting radical slogans.

Antioch is dead and I don’t think it’s coming back no matter what plans they have in mind.

I have full confidence that the lefties have learnt nothing, it will regain its status as national laughing stock within years

.

Gendeau is right. Lefties/feminists never learn, change or evolve. They are forever stuck in the hamster wheels of self-delusion and arrogance, spewing bile and self-pity. The reformation of a true believer is often the most pivotal event in their lives. It’s like kidnapping a Moonie from a compound and unscrambling their brains so thay can at least participate in society in some kind of menial way.

Whatever intellectual/moral flaw that enabled them to deny hard facts presented to them by people like us is embedded in their DNA. They are recalcitrant and dangerous and will never, ever learn.

They will place the blame of Antioch’s failure as far away from themselves as they can – this is their MOD. No sunlight ever pervades their inner monologues. Starving these beasties of funds is smart approach as they are utterly dependent on the much-bitten hand that feeds.

I also agree that the whole Men’s Studies idea could possibly work, but only if it refuses to interact/debate with the feminazi bitterati that inhabits campuses (campi?). Debating/persuading them is a waste of time and can only generate negative energy. We’ve all tried to negotiate with these cretins – so let’s not repeat this blunder with more pointless babble.

America could use 12 solid months of Sharia Law. After that cleanup, go back to the US Constitution and Bill of Rights. Unfortunately, I don’t see that happening.

I’m very doubtful of the wisdom of allowing something like Sharia Law to dictate morals/laws/rules to any Western man. Don’t we have our own history/philosophies that can guide us? Why replace one repressive system with another? Isn’t the point of the MRM to restore the rights and freedoms of men, whether traditional, MGTOW, veterans, young dudes gays or straights.

I don’t understand why putting my poor old mother in a sheet and beating her up for saying “G’day” to some (unrealated) male aquantance in the local shop is supposed to be some kind of smart alternative to what we have now. I mean, is that really the best we can do? Calls for Sharia Law are usually met with silence at ‘The Spearhead’, which leads me to believe that I’m not alone in this view, or guys aren’t entirely sure how to respond to it.

White & Blue, your anecdote expresses well the venomous attitude I got from Antioch females whenever I passed through the town, which happened often as I would head to nearby John Bryant park . After I got out of the Army I looked up a nice gal I knew in high school who had moved to Yellow Springs. She had gone full-on Butch. Frankly I didn’t care that she identified as lesbian but my god, the haughtiness and condescension towards a beta “heteronormative” male (me) was insufferable. I was just a nice guy pushing towards my mid-twenties and seeking long term female companionship.

Hi Andybob,

Thank you for your kind words. My comments at the top about bringing in Sharia Law are essentially a figure of speech to express my disgust and anger at feminism. Sharia Law is known for keeping out of control women in their place. OK, :) that too was a bit of an exaggeration as some Islamic societies are way too extreme and others more moderate in their use of Sharia Law. All things considered Sharia Law is part of culture and religion that while requiring men to be responsible to their families does not treat them as western feminism treats men and boys.

There are I believe many forms of patriarchy. Some are good requiring males and females to practice responsibility and accountability, and some brutal and oppressive to the people in society. Matriarchy in theory sounds nice and sweet though smothering and limiting. The reality of matriarchy is the evolving authoritarian pro-feminist anti-male state that is evolving around us.

Personally, I do not want to live under Sharia Law though it might be better than ending up in a feminist gulag re-education center.

I hope that answered your question.

I can’t help but think that Antioch foreshadows a pattern for other declines; not of universities and colleges, but of various levels of government (municipal to federal).

Related blogs have opined on the looming social welfare bubble, and how various cash-strapped governments are forced to cut deep. One that particularly sticks in my mind is how some (states? counties?) are opting for gravel roads instead of paving.

Now, the roads in question are probably tertiary routes that are only traveled by a few people a day, and this is probably a reasonable move to maximize the value for tax dollars spent. But a part of me cannot help but see this in terms of vital infrastructure being neglected and allowed to deteriorate.

Compare that with Antioch, how it eliminated it’s computer science programs while maintaining the women studies (and similar) programs. The productive sacrificed to sustain the unproductive, trying to delay the inevitable, if only for a little while longer.

Governments at all levels are facing tough budget decisions. Many will likely avoid confronting economic reality as long as possible, fearful of the even more immediate political reality: the entitled and the parasites will scream the loudest and react the angriest, perhaps even violently. My chief once commented that you rarely saw real professionals and working stiffs like us at these shrill rallies because we’re too busy actually working for a living.

Productive assets, whether it be people, objects, or institutes, seem safest to ignore since we’re often not the squeakiest wheel. Maybe we’ll forget by the next election, maybe the next administration will have to make the unpopular decision. That’s a long-term problem, ideally someone else’s. Meanwhile, the People’s Queer Vegan Freedom Coalition for Womyn has set up a drum circle in a politician’s constituency office, and their B.O. is making the paint peel. That’s an immediate problem.

Today, Antioch, tomorrow, CUNY and NYU, and the day after tomorrow, Yale, Princeton, and perhaps even Harvard!

The same forces which are asserting reality with Antioch playpen (No, I am not going to call that feminist, green, and “afrocentric” bloody mess a college) are also working–largely unopposed–to bankrupt and destroy those other houses of bedlam. Afterward, who knows, but even if so-called ‘progressives’ can’t learn from experience, the rest of us can, and hopefully will!

What will the ‘graduates’ of such mental asylums do with their lives, once the demand for “diversity enhancement specialists” and EEOC and save-the-cockroaches environmental attorneys dries up? I suppose that there will be a lot of people with little tin cups on street corners, until we pass some anti-vagrancy laws and “rehabilitate” those over-educated vagabonds (mostly female, but also a few “males”) for useful work on a county farm or “chain gang”

PEACE AND FREEDOM!!
