Gloria Steinem and Friends Launch Shaming Campaign

by W.F. Price on September 3, 2010

A new media pressure group called “Name It.Change It.” has gone online with the mission to stomp out forms of speech that feminists disagree with. Sponsored by Gloria Steinem’s Women’s Media Center, the group features a large, interactive “Pyramid of Egregiousness” that categorizes sexist statements according to severity. The pyramid appears to be based on the USDA food guide pyramid, with the really juicy words, including “slut,” “cougar,” and “feminazi” being the chocolate mousse of sexism, less obvious words such as “PMS” and “nagging” the roast beef, and banal, potentially sexist words like “temperamental” and “high maintenance” the oatmeal version of misogyny.

Although I find the categorizations rather arbitrary, I tend to agree that one should use the heaviest, most larded words sparingly when referring to feminists, as overindulgence might lead to a red-faced, flabby, atherosclerotic rant as opposed to a lean, efficient refutation of feminist dogma.

However, in a “Statement on Equality,” Steinem takes it a step farther, providing a proscriptive treatise aimed directly at those in media. Like a grade school teacher, or, more menacingly, a commissar, she lays out the correct manner in which to speak:

The most workable definition of equality for journalists is reversibility. Don’t mention her young children unless you would also mention his, or describe her clothes unless you would describe his, or say she’s shrill or attractive unless the same adjectives would be applied to a man. Don’t say she’s had facial surgery unless you say he dyes his hair or has hair plugs. Don’t say she’s just out of graduate school but he’s a rising star. Don’t say she has no professional training but he worked his way up. Don’t ask her if she’s running as a women’s candidate unless you ask him if he’s running as a men’s candidate; ask both about the gender gap, the women’s vote.

Clearly media people had better listen; if they break the rules the equality police will come after them…

The group absurdly claims that the media is oppressing women, and cherry-picks a few statements made by political commentators to create a video, featured on the home page, in which a couple floppy-haired manginas and an equine feminist (see, Gloria, I used “reversibility”) parody sexism in the media:

I wonder where they find these guys.

It remains to be seen whether these heavy handed and offensive tactics (e.g. graphically describing torrential menstruation) will have the desired effect, but if grassroots media is any indication NameIt.Change It. will be fighting an uphill battle. Widespread revulsion for feminism and what it has done is leading to more – not less – openness on the airwaves, and even on television. Although those at the very top of the media hierarchy will likely go along with the drive to censor speech, they are increasingly losing control of the national dialogue.

……..the mission to stomp out forms of speech that feminists disagree with.

Ah yes, censorship, one of feminisms final goals. Muzzle free speech and only hear what feminists want to hear.

Of course these same women and manginas somehow miss all the antimale sitcoms and advertisements which dominate television.

It just proves that language is one of the most important battlefields today. Who wins the linguistical battle controls thoughs and mental frames of people.

That video is so stereotypical. Just look at the giant chin of the feminist women and on the thin necks of manginas. It just proves that stereotypes are more often valid.

How is it sexist to call a woman a bad mother? Please tell me these shrieking hyenas are joking? It’s ‘severe misogyny’ to call a prostitute…a prostitute? And the video almost made me sick to the stomach.

I am surprised that Gloria Steinem is still alive. I thought she was dead a long time ago.

The old saying goes, mean people are the last ones to die. I don’t know what they say about the stupid ones though.

The media is sexist towards the females, actually the media is sexist towards the males. What in God’s name are the feminists thinking. It seems that rational thinking in a feminist mind had flown the coop. Typical feminists, they’re really that stupid. I am starting to wonder if there are any brain cells in a feminist mind. After reading the article thrice, one of the pieces in the article reminded of a description of a health food nut section. This time, it’s really out of hand.

As for the manginas along with every gay male, they’re patsies, and traitors. The she-men hated the cold hard truth. Hold the mirror long enough they will hate what they see in their reflections.

I wonder if people who buy into the feminist and PC dogma are friggin intentional idiots.

How about “Don’t celebrate womens current superiority in english unless you would be prepared to celebrate men’s superiority in Maths and Physics” or “Don’t suggest that women might be naturally better at some things unless you are prepared to admit that men are naturally better at others things” or “don’t citicise negative statements about women and applaud negative statements about men”

I love the fact that they had to make something up to try and get their point across. And its so ridiculously dated…..as IF that kind of conversation is happening in the media now. And yet to find examples in the media of misandry is just as easy as pie – they are just EVERYWHERE!!

I actually found the sketch quite funny – but then I am filled with a sense of foreboding when I remember that people have been laughing off ridiculous feminist statements for 40 years. But by making the lie big and repeating it over and over and over again it has been successful in making changes to culture and legislation and law which are incredibly damaging for the whole of society itself.

Best not to underestimate the damage things like this can do if they go unchecked!!

While this campaign by Steinem & Co. is risible on the face of it, I would not laugh too hard. This exercise is a test of power, and with few exceptions, organized feminism—from circa 1978 to the present—has not failed many tests of power. Maybe the ERA and election of the Hildabeast to the White House. They always push the envelope, usually with varying success. In this case, they OWN the media in matters gender. I pessimistically expect minor incremental accommodations first by female newscasters followed by a widening ripple in the media at large. Textbooks. Schools. Casual conversation. Young men will begin to wonder why they have very little vocabulary with which to criticize women.

Strategically, this little sally is in response to the growing anti-feminist presence on the Web. Personally, this is Gloria Steinem trying to may one last gasp shot at relevance.

I don’t think feminists have lost their minds, this is yet another example of their position, meaning their emotions over logic. These words can make women feel bad about themselves of course, so therefore, they must be outlawed and removed from the vocabulary. Why is there not a list for men as Ubermind suggested? Because what does it affect a woman at all to demean men? Insulting television shows, movies, or commercials which are rampant with misandry don’t affect women whatsoever, and therefore, aren’t viewed as a problem.

Some may say that shaming is effective means of control, which gives yet more leverage to women against men, so what do they get out of it by halting this tide of misandry? Nothing, so they have no reason to give it up.

The feminist Globalist Pavlov has spoken and the spell impounding bell rung. Take out your clipboards and observe, gents, this current siege could be another long one.
Feminists have reached the top of the political pyramid by also capitalizing on sympathy to assumed sexism. Example:

“Honoring the 90th anniversary of women winning the right to vote, the Women’s Media Center has launched the “Name it. Change it” advocacy campaign to combat sexism in the media.”

(That fictitious video was hilarious. If only! The other vid feature Marc Rudov. Go Marc!).
– Voting rights for females came relatively shortly after enfranchisement rights were secured by the majority of business owners, entrepreneurs, dying or being maimed on the job working stiff or other tax-payers without representation – IOW, collectively, men. You know, the ones who played a huge part toward paving the way in providing a level of convenience and comfort the world has never seen before, that still impacts much of the world.
The state of industrialized humanity is far from perfect, and has created many sub-cultures (we’ve got the goods on one of them), unlike the world has previously seen. With men still predominantly dying in the work and battlefield, obliged to be provisional for all and commonly under-represented as compared to the common female I very much doubt the world is going to be a much better place because government funded organized females are fixated on dominating exclusive priviliges for only themselves. Especially by not actually having to work for them by way of organized fraudulence, maudlin or otherwise.

Maybe even get a few more men living under over passes or killing themselves. Any speech that allows a man to hold a woman accountable for her manipulative actions is sexist hate speech. Just go down the list of words and each one describes a woman who has earned that word through her actions.

What feminazis really want is the de-facto criminalization of any man who challenges a woman’s behavior. After all, grrrl power is all about having her cake and eating it too. “I can dress like a whore and manipulate men with my sexuality but men must treat me like a lady unless they are rapist pigs”

Its funny that the only sexiast words that seem to bother her are the ones used towards women, yet she claims the “sexism and & equality don’t mix” (emphasis added). Since when is the word “girl” sexist? When the empowered female says “You go girl” is she being derogatory? I know the word “boy” has frequently been used as a put down. Feminists are more than willing to discuss “testosterone poisoning,” but want to outlaw “PMS” when applied to her poor behavior. I noticed that she forgot “welfare queen, ” perhaps that will allow her to use “deadbeat dad.” “Cougar” is now sexist, but not “lecher” or “dirty old man.” I always thought “prostitute” was the polite word for “whore.” I guess now they are “sex traffickers?” “Cunt” is off limits, but not “dick,” “trash” but not “bum,” as is “slut” but not “womanizer,” and “maneater” but not “wife beater.” Ms. Steinem seems to have forgotten half the equation. That’s the sort of sexism that really does make equality impossible.

“Strategically, this little sally is in response to the growing anti-feminist presence on the Web.”

Yes, exactly!
Here’s the breakdown: The internet is stealing eyeballs from television because its NOT censored by political correctness. So in order to compete, television is beginning to stray from proper fem-speak. (Have you seen Tosh.O on comedy channel?) The major networks are held hostage by their sponsors, which in turn are held hostage by the feminist thought-police. It’s a tired old broadcast medium for old people.

The scope of the internet doesn’t recognize political correctness, in fact it skewers it and serves it up for what it is, hypocritical idiocy run amok. The fear is as the internet savagely tears the envelope wide open, the major networks will need to push the envelope on PC speak. Cable networks are not the competition, its the internet.
The revolution WILL NOT be televised.
It will be on a blog or a YouTube channel.

Certianly feminism is jumping the shark. No doubt.

Well, non-feminists certainly don’t hold any monopoly on shaming language. “Loser”, “Virgin”, “Bitter”, “Misogynist”. Insults designed to shut down debate and shut down another so that you may feel morally superior and disregard their message – even if that message is given in good faith.

If they truly believe in equality, they should target their own negative insulting shaming language towards those who disagree with them or have issues with their “movement”.

Above all else, never argue with a feminist because if you do, then you give credit to their very existence: something they do not deserve.

The most workable definition of equality for journalists is reversibility. …Don’t ask her if she’s running as a women’s candidate unless you ask him if he’s running as a men’s candidate; ask both about the gender gap, the women’s vote.

Huh? How about applying a bit of reversibility to that last bit? Who’s up for asking the candidate how she palns to capture the ‘men’s vote’? Or where she stands on ‘men’s issues’ or the ‘health gap’ in spending on men’s vs women’s diseases?

Anyone?

The thing is though, this is how it’s done. Anathas10 is right. We’ve had forty years of feminazis issuing these insane demands, everyone laughing at them, and then twenty years later they’re mainstream articles of faith only some of loser kook with a small penis could possibly disagree with.

It’s a perfect one-two. Designated nuts like Steinem claim that, say, we should do away with rape trials since, hey, the accused is obviously guilty anyway. Meanwhile, faux reasonable femiloons say that obviously they wouldn’t go that far BUT clearly, this is an issue that needs to be addressed so, hey, why don’t we abolish the right to cross-examine the accuser, know anything about previous false claims or….

And so what was once lunacy becomes mainstream.

Right here, you can see what’s going on. Plenty of manginas and femiloons will be out there laughing along saying that, of course, old Glorias gone a bit far again, BUT we do need to address the issues raised….

And so any MSM discussion of the downsides of feminism, like broken families and wall-impacted cat herders will be given a late-term abortion.

Sure, there might be some superficial differences in terms of dress code and the like, but Nazis and feminists both share the same central belief: all of the world’s problems are down to a chunk of the population having the wrong genetic structure, and the answer is to – at best – reduce these vermin to serfdom, and at worst to simply eliminate their deviancy from the gene pool.

No the problem was that the actress who played his wife was the victim for being such a great woman for putting up with such a terrible man. So even when in a man/woman relationship and the man is portrayed as a baffoon and the woman is nearly perfect its still sexism against women.

That pyramid looks like something produced by a grade school kid. It’s funny how the lefty/feminist response to anything they don’t like always appears so childish. It’s such tired rhetoric even in my lifetime; don’t these people get bored with themselves? You’d think after being around 100 years Gloria Steinem would be able to have noticed a shift in the landscape by now, but sadly, she wears blinkers and has an image to maintain, ugly as it is (and I’m not referring to her lack of physical attractiveness).

“In this case, they OWN the media in matters gender.”

Well, perhaps the main-stream media (aka lame-stream media), which is swirling down the toilet. The MSM has marginalized itself out of relevance.

Re: Women voting in America

Three words: Lydia Chapin Taft

Voting in America since (at least) 1756. At the time, property ownership was required for voting (see also, history of voting in New Jersey), bursting the “women couldn’t own property” bubble, as well (another famous example of a woman owning property way back when is Martha Dandridge Custis Washington, who secured her real estate holdings by marrying a rich, older Daniel Custis who died. I.e., she did not earn her wealth, she inherited it from her dead husband.).

I look forward to some feminist trying to silence me with this stuff. I will agree with her that I shouldn’t use the term she objects to, and unleash a fusillade of terms several orders of magnitude more offensive in her face (hopefully in front of an audience of other women). Agree and amplify.

“Strange, isn’t it? I thought only patriarchal misogynistic evil men treated women in this way. Apparently women like to do it as well.”

Except that these “evil women” are not really evil. They are victims of patriarchal oppression who find that in order to compete in a man’s world they must imitate their oppressors.

“In America today, we’re seeing a lot more boys disconnected with their own sense of masculinity, due in large part due to higher divorce rates, dad’s working longer hours – the strong father figure is often not around and that’s why the ‘geek’ has become much more mainstream,” explained psychiatrist Dr. Paul Dobransky, author of “Masculinity Code.”

Ubermind and Greyghost (and everybody), let’s not forget that the default gender for *all* negative epithets, particularly the mindly-off-color ones, is male.

“Some jackass tossed a cigarette on the street right in front of me.”

“You can’t trust a low-life like that.”

“The imbecile behind the counter gave me the wrong change.”

“Who are those losers?”

When visualizing the action in those sentences, did you imagine a woman as the negatively-described person?

But for good-sounding words, you could visualize someone of either gender:

“God bless the kind-hearted soul who found my lost child in the museum.”

How about a movement to use generic insulting language to describe women, without mentioning the gender? Then, ater in the conversation, you use the pronoun “she”, and when the listener expresses surprise, you answer with, “What? An ‘asshole’ has to be a man?”

So it’s ‘SEVERE Misogyny’ of threat color red to use the words ‘fascist feminist’…..WTF? Don’t call us fascists, we aren’t fascist, we just want to control what you say, think, do and even how you act and identify as a male person, which doesn’t exist outside of gi joe tv series cause all males are defunct females in need of proper training and engineering in our re-education camps, er, schools.

Oh nooosss, cant be saying anything bad about the wimminz, they might get their lil fee fees hurt.

So next time I see a story about a woman drowning her, er, her baby daddies children in a lake and then blaming it on the nearest black man, I can’t call her a bad mother?

This is the kind of overreach that could be good or bad, it could be good in the sense that it shows how fascist these feminists(see I didn’t use the word, I put ‘these’, measning plural in between so I should be good) really are…..

Or, they control the entire structure and politics, economy, and law and they use this along with their street harassment campaigns to institute laws making it a felony to use the word bitch. They will probably line up with the conservative right, cause they always want to ban rap music and videogames and R rated movies, and we might find ourselves in a concentration camp in five or ten years.

It’s crazy, they claim they are for equality but they push laws that used to be in place to protect female sensibilities from harsh words. before the 20th century there were alot of laws in place that could land a man in jail with heavy fines for simply saying ‘wiords’ to a woman. It was equivalent to the laws on ‘fighting words’ and was meant to promote civility.

Make no mistake guys, they want office place sexual harassment laws, where a failed pick up attempt of, “you wanna go to dinner?”, can get you fired, placed in the public context. This is why they are pushing for laws to protect women from street harassment.

But yeah, trying to regulate the open expression of free individuals totes isn’t feminist fascism(see, again I didn’t use that exact word, I switched it, Im so smart with my man brain)

The most workable definition of equality for journalists is reversibility. Don’t mention her young children unless you would also mention his, or describe her clothes unless you would describe his, or say she’s shrill or attractive unless the same adjectives would be applied to a man.

Ha Ha!

Not falling for that old trick twice!

Hidden beneath the examples is the suggestion that if journalists stuck to this ‘reversibility’ code, then we men could finally call the media on using negative language about men that they don’t dare use with women. And as soon as some logic is conceded that the proposed code would benefit both sexes, and the argument won to adopt this code, the inherent bias within the media and law enforcement would make sure it is only applied against men.

So predictable. So utterly dull.

I doubt it will get any traction though. Gloria Steinem’s audience is shrinking away to nothing. The old femhags are dying, the new ones have nothing new or interesting to say – just rehashed feminist fascism. The manosphere is the only place to go these days for an interesting read, and to get the impression that there are still intelligent decent people left in the world.

Umm, I think you already know this, but Ill answer anyways.

What about the menz votes? Well, females are a minority group, even tho there are more females in america than males, they are a majority with a minority status. On top of that, alot of men can’t vote because of prison status and crime records, there is an ever growing underclass of men in america with no rights what so ever.

The male vote doesn’t count, it simply doesn’t. If every woman in america voted for a female and every man voted for a male then the female would win. This is why they shouldn’t have to vote, that and their ability to dominate men by getting other men to dominate men, aka the police state.

Here’s an article from 1909 written in the social democrat against suffrage:

And another one by the same guy, E. Belfort Bax called: Heterodox Notes on the woman question

a quote:

It is hopeless for a man to attempt to get justice where his adversary is a woman. This has reached a condition of scandal in this country that every assizes shows a crop of spurious charges of indecent assault brought by women against men, without a single instance of one of these women being prosecuted for perjury

.

Written in 1887, nothing has changed in 100+ yrs.
Here’s some more from the same guy:
http://marxists.anu.edu.au/archive/bax/1887/10/mysogyny-equality.htm

This guy was a british socialist but also antifeminist, very strange. But he saw feminism for what it was then, here’s some more:

And the more they try to push for such “power”, the more they actually hurt women. The falling marriage rates as a result of the mutation of marriage into a mockery is proof of that. Feminists constantly reach for control, but even if they gain that control, it comes at a cost. There is no free lunch and there are no actions without consequences.

Try to control the terms of marriage and less men will marry.
Try to make sperm donors liable for child support and less men will donate sperm.
Try to broaden the definition of sexual harassment and less women will get attention, EVEN if they want that attention.

Feminism hurts women far more than it hurts men, but a lot of women don’t seem to grasp that.

Yep but don’t forget most of average women (and even men) aren’t independent thinkers, just stuck to the mainstream, and that’s all. Nowadays feminism happens to be the mainstream, and the masses don’t question it. When the wind will change, they will change as well.

That’s why this (and similar) site has extreme importance, some people can’t figure out the truth themselves, but when read it, recognize.

Feminism’s time is over.

Feminism does indeed hurt women more than men, all one needs to do is look around. I have a friend who bought the Feminist message of men and women being the same with the exception of plumbing hook, line, and sinker. She wants to get married and have kids, but unfortunately her time is up. She had let herself go, but has a decent job, (thinking since that’s what she finds important, a man would also) and has HIGH expectations.

She’s 37 and NO prospects.

This is just the current paradigm, what do you think will happen to women when this current Farce we call the West finally collapses? Ever hear Black women’s favorite lament? The dearth of good men? Guess what, with women in college outnumbering men 2/3, it won’t just be Black women complaining about that anymore.

In my opinion the ones who will be decrying Feminism the most won’t be us dudes or the smart and responsible women we have here. The loudest voices will be Western Women as they blame Feminism for lying to them about the way things are.

Feminism hurts women far more than it hurts men, but a lot of women don’t seem to grasp that.

Well, it’s goal is to neuter men, so I think it hurts men worse. But there is definately a blacklash or blowback created by feminism against women.

It definately does harm women, but I don’t care anymore. Women don’t help men, atleast not in my life. I can count on one hand how many women have actually helped me and Ill still have fingers left over. I simply don’t care if they get hurt, they are supposed to be independent and better if not equal to men.

Guys, I don’t think feminism is close to being over. I would hope, and with a shrinking tax base they are going to have major funding problems and hopefully they will wither on the vine. But if you have watched them over the last few months, then they have gotten even more brazen in their power grabs. I hope it leads to an overreach and that it will die off but im not so optimistic. Looking at feministing and seeing how they have fallen in rank lately, does not mean that feminism is dying. Instead it means that Valenti just had a baby. It’s funny too, for all their crying over c-sections and natural birth and birthing rights and what not, she gave birth prematurely and had to have a c-section to save her life from preeclampsia.

I don’t want to deflect from your site Bill, but all you guys need to read through those links I posted. Feminism has been going strong for 100+ years, before female suffrage it had a strangle hold. I just wish the Bax guy had lived through the socialist nazi regime, I would like to be able to read his thoughts on it, since he was a socialist.

Feminism is about power, just look at what they say, “power, power, power.” I may not know much, but I do know that any time someone, man or woman, talks about power so much then they are the last person who should have any power. But they do have power, and they want more.

I see three basic options based on our current trajectory:

1. Revolution- I would hope it would be a mrm revolution, but with the increasingly weak power structures of civilization and with america being a powder keg ready to explode, and with sucha split between the average person as far as politics goes, well, there is a increasingly large power vacuum and someone will fill it when the states and government fail. Will it be us men? Feminists? Christian or muslim? Socialist? I don’t know!

2. Genocide- Now im not a historian expert, but it seems to me that females divide men into classes, and all throughout history there has been ‘undesirables’ or the untouchables(because they dealt with dead bodies) and when the economy shrinks and the society at large is looking to blame someone, that’s when the undesirables get rounded up and killed. Will it be males? Or maybe hispanics? It depends on who’s in power and who they blame.

3. Anarchy and tribalism-with 40% of children born to single mommies by choice in 2007 alone, well what happens when boys grow up in a matriarchy? When there isn’t a single man on the street, except for a few 19 yr old boys who have managed to stay out of prison? They get together, they mark their territory and they sell drugs. These are also called gangs.
We might wake up in 10 yrs or so and realize that every single street corner in america is controlled by the local gang/tribe and with a broken economy and govment, where will the police be? This might be our best option, afterall all politics are local. But then again it also means more and more and more dead 14 yr old boys in the street.

Which will happen? I don’t know, I kinda hope Im wrong about all of them, but I know one thing. No where in history has a communitarian philosophy not resulted in blood being spilled. Whether the crusades, or socialism and communism or the communitarianism of modern PC groupthink that trickles down from the systems of government. There will be blood, whos and when? Again I don’t know. Hell, it’s already happening…not counting gang violence, just look at how many guys kill themselves after a divorce or someone else.

Maybe we mra should mobilize as a nationwide gang and recruit that way, we could call ourselves the brotherhood or something.(just kidding, well, kinda) Cause in detroit cops are sitting down for negotiations with the local gangs in hope of curtailing violence….again, kidding.

Junk food, booze, Pharma & psychiatry are at the ready to dose tens of millions of women with whatever it takes to keep them “happy.” Feminism will never end in several generations of women, because they will always blame men and ease the pain with food, drugs, and liquor. That’s the pinnacle of empowerment they have chosen.

I’ve given up on the women. I’m focusing on men. To that end, I’m really active on Twitter (under my real name) and have been sending The Spearhead to any man that seems receptive. Been getting some good feedback, along with a few “head exploding” negative responses.
I also talked a young friend out of proposing to his girlfriend a couple of weeks ago. He’s not gotten to the point of breaking up with her but is seriously reconsidering marrying her.

I am pretty much in the midst of getting that wake up call, and I’m not too thrilled about the lies and brainwashing I feel I’ve been subject to in my culture. Which is why I’m here I suppose.

On a larger scale, it’s progressives that are to blame, of whom feminists are a big part. I’m just naturally inclined to be a little more conservative than a lot of the people around me (in liberal Toronto) but it’s taken me a long time to be able to see it for what it is and then put it into words. In the meantime, it does feel like it’s too late to do much besides try to save my daughters from the same fate. And I’m doing that as a single parent – talk about an uphill battle, but I refuse to believe the lie that kids don’t need a father so I can feel better about myself. thereby passing the same bullshit down to them.

Dammit, sorry, I sent the post accidentally before I was finished.

So as I said, small car, one bedroom apartment, used furniture, you get the idea. In fact, I was even thinking about downsizing from a one bedroom in the basement of the building to a bachelor since I really didn’t need so much room. I had actually met my soon to be wife just before I moved out, but I wanted to get some time alone before making any commitments. Now, check the changes out.

Her washing machine broke so since I had quite a bit more disposable income than she, I bought one for her.

6 months later, I moved in with her, furniture and all. My furniture was thrown out (it was all donated anyway HINT) so it didn’t matter to me. I happen to live in a relatively snowy area in Canada so my little Nissan Sentra was getting beaten up in the winter AND the fact that my wife’s kids where cramped in the little backseat. That car was awesome if you where a single guy, but it was a crappy family car. I traded up, and got a pickup truck.

When we got married, it was a decently sized affair, I really couldn’t care less, so long as she was happy and I know we spent low 5 figures on everything.

I have purchased a new couch and sofa set as the old ones where wearing out.

Here’s the deal, I have very serious ADHD, and my fulltime job requires quite a bit of attention to detail. I’m not permitted to blog about my company, but it is along the same lines as where Homer Simpson works. Even with my medication, there are times where things can be hard. I contemplated quitting, but the truth is that I do get paid a lot better there than anywhere else I would most likely end up. So I hunkered down, and sucked it up.

Then, we bought a house, the dream everyone has right? It needs work and we are slowly renovating it, many trips to the Home Depot, thank God we have a truck. On my credit of course.

I return my old truck and buy a new one, as the lease was now up. I got one with a bigger cab as the kids are teenagers now and we need the space.

What’s my point, simple? Think about how much money I have ‘re-invested’ into the economy since I got married. What do you think I would have done if I didn’t get married at all, or maybe just dated a woman here or there? Do you think I still would have stayed in that one bedroom apartment?

Yup

Do you think I would have kept my Nissan Sentra instead of buying two huge V-8 trucks?

Yup

Do you think I would have gotten a lower paying job to make my life easier in the long run due to my ADHD?

YUP

Do you think my life would actually have been quite a bit easier if I had never gotten married in the first place?

Yup, my car would have been paid off, I wouldn’t have a mortgage and I even though I make 40% more now in my fulltime job, I would be a heck of a lot less stressed. In fact, the ONLY reason why I moved out was for the ladies anyway, the inconvenience of home was beginning to get to me.

Consider the amount of money that a single man essentially reclaims for himself simply by remaining free. The difference between 35 year old me and the 27 year old me is several thousands of dollars a year easily. Consider things like gas, finance on the vehicles, maintenance, taxes on my pay, taxes on what I spend, repairs on the house, and so on. The list is quite large, and maybe it should put into context just how little men can exist on when there is no need to splurge and just how much we do spend when we do get hitched.

Right now, the Government is getting what it wants (taxes, an economy that ‘works’) and Feminist are getting what they want (marriage, children, men’s money) so there is no reason for any of a man’s suffering to stop. However, the marriage strike makes women’s lives more difficult, and also in the end, the Government’s as well.

It doesn’t take the whole country of men to give up on marriage to make a negative impact; I bet 15% to 20% of all men would upset the already strained apple cart and break the camels back. Then remember the school system with women fighting for a shrinking number of men, the rest of them remaining immature. I’m a black man so I have seen this first hand, but I can tell you one thing. The black community is very much the canary in the mineshaft for the rest of the country. Feminism is indeed turning the West into a gigantic ghetto; it’s just that no one cares to see it. I’m not seeing more and more white women imitating black behavior from just 5 short years ago, and it’s amazing how many single mothers I happen to know now. Blacks of course can mate with other races so it isn’t as if they will simply die off, but what happens when the issues this community faces becomes nationwide?

Personally, I think Islam is also going to push the envelope and force society’s hand. Think about what a man’s needs are. If a man marries, his wife get’s fat, weaponizes sex, treats him like crap, and monopolizes all his time, and then he still faces a 50% chance of getting divorced, losing his kids, and becoming an indentured slave to his wife. WHY would a man get married now? What does Sharia Law give to men? A way out, a means to get back some of the freedom that has been taken from men by Feminism and the Government. I’m sure you have heard of Raoul Moat. I didn’t hear about his life from any MRA, I actually stumbled across his ‘exploits’ on Facebook. One article had stated that it was surprising to see how many men could identify with Moat and his backlash against ‘the machine.’

http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2010/jul/12/villain-to-hero-raoul-moat
http://bloodworthweb.blogspot.com/2010/07/raul-moat-hero.html

They had felt that the government and society doesn’t need or care for them and they heralded Moat standing up for what’s right.

While all this is still conjecture, the one thing we can be sure about is that the current paradigm cannot continue, something will happen, and I bet it’s going to get real ugly, before a solution arrives.

In my opinion the ones who will be decrying Feminism the most won’t be us dudes or the smart and responsible women we have here. The loudest voices will be Western Women as they blame Feminism for lying to them about the way things are.

You’re being overly optimistic. Women will just become lesbians, which many are starting to do already.

How bout asking a feminist where they stand on the gap on percentage of men wounded in combat.

How bout asking a feminist where they stand on the gap in deaths of men vs woman in combat.

Ask a feminist why woman are not doing jobs where they can die.

Ask a feminist why are men paying for kids when they could just raise them themselves.

Ask a feminist why men are more likely to go to prison for longer sentences than woman for the same crimes.

Ask a feminist why woman recieve a living wage from welfare and men don’t.

Ask a feminist why men are not getting the custody of the kids and allowed to go on welfare to raise them.

Ask a feminist why do colleges need to be equal on sports to the detriment of men.

Ask a feminist why is the united states losing in the world race for excellance.

Ask a feminist why is the us edging closer and closer to parity with developing countries on ability to provide healthcare.

Every woman in states could go lesbian and there would still be enough woman outside states in global economy to outsource their job.

Gunslinger”Every woman in states could go lesbian and there would still be enough woman outside states in global economy to outsource their job”

I’ve recently set up an online dating profile for the first time in several years. 2/3 of the women declare themselves bisexual and about half of them declare themselves polyamorous. Now whether this is real bisexuality or just feigned bisexuality to appear fashionable i don’t know.

I can understand why this might bother some men looking for more of a traditional relationship. If all the women go for cooter as well as cock that causes more scarcity.

I personally don’t care, as I’m not looking for anything exclusive and I don’t look to a woman for anything other than some laughs and perhaps a roll in the hay.

I wouldn’t read too much into this. People who are looking for something ‘a little different’ will go online for it first. Heterosexual women looking to meet guys generally do not need to use the internet for it.

I think this far to pessimistic. They do this when the first choice, men, is already gone. We have forgotten one thing; that women will become lesbians when their other choices have dried up. Sperm banks, and government handouts may allow women to continue their way of life after that have decided to become ‘switch hitters’ shall we say. What happens when the government’s tax base dries up too which is only a matter of time.

No government handouts, and a lack of men to marry and therefore support them will result in less choices for women to be ‘independant’ in the long run.

I think that the Steinem Sisterhood is giving us a very effective way of attacking them—humor!

Most of her objections are so childish and petty that efforts to comply will sound downright silly to an intelligent reader or listener, male or female. It is long past time to point out the absurdities and even insanity which feminist visions of equality have foisted upon us, and to hold the Steinems of the world fully accountable for the consequences!

Feminists of the Steinem persuasion have proven that women, as a group, whatever the dear things may otherwise be, are NOT equal to men, in judgement, in rationality, or intelligence. If you doubt this, look at how our society and economy has “improved” with the Armed Forces, the police and firefighting agencies, the upper levels of the judiciary and Civil Service–along with the asinine rulings and regulations issued therefrom–the halls of academia, and the dismal quality of television and Hollywood, geared in the past thirty years ever more toward the fair sex. The notion of improvement or progress in any of these areas would make you laugh (before you cry)!

Society suffers from problems, abnormalities, and dysfunction which (in many cases) were UNHEARD OF as late as the 1950′s when it was still accepted by most people, including most women, that a man’s place was primarily committed to work outside the home, and the woman’s place was best filled by her commitment to work in and around the home. That world had its problems, and lots of them, but it would be fair to say that its institutions were capable of serving and even fulfilling the responsibilies that they were supposed to fulfill–Universities would research, Police would police, armed forces would fight, lawyers would practice law (NOT crackpot social advocacy), teachers would teach (at least barely), and governments would govern…

After fifty years of feminuttery, legally enforced equality of the sexes has made a bloody mess for everyone. I say, if this is ‘equality, the hell with it, I’ll take patriarchy and male dominance of the econonomy and culture any time!!

PEACE AND FREEDOM!!
David K. Meller

PS–I am aware, of course, that even in the fifties, life in the USA was starting to become seriously unravelled. After all, it was after the traumas of WWII and ‘Rosie the Riveter’, the New Deal and Eleanor Roosevelt, The glamorization of women like Amelia Earhart and the actresses of Hollywood, and the emergence of the “dagwood bumstead” caricature of maleness in our society…

I chose the fifties as a starting off point because the 18th and 19th centuries were simply to remote in time for effective and reliable comparison. DKM

””””’Feminism hurts women far more than it hurts men, but a lot of women don’t seem to grasp that.”””””””

I am not thinking far worse either. That is bullshit. They enjoy the pain they inflict while they do it. Just because it may backfire on them later doesn’t make it right. Guys are suffering a massive amount that does need to be trivialized by comparing with the suffering of woman. They are making choices to do what they do. Accept responsibility.

I guess my second post wasn’t clear on this, but I thought about that statement after making it and realized that was a bit much. No, feminism doesn’t hurt women far worse than men.

If by ‘feminism is hurting women’ you mean that the women…

1) Ratch up one dick count too many on the pussy odometer, possibly contracting a couple of STDs along the way.

2) Price themselves out of the dating market (hint: see the personals on PoF)

3) Saddled with bastard kids without a man to ‘step up to the plate’ to pick up the tab.

4) Reduced to corporate spinsters slaving away 60+ working hours per week at the cubicle.

5) Become confused and lost regarding what it is like to be feminine.

6) Whimpering incessantly ‘Where are all the good men left?’ when looking to settle down past their expiry date.

7) Wondering what happened when their precious teen daughters join gangs, do gangbangs etc. (Single moms, please cry harder)

…then ‘feminism is hurting women’ can kiss my behind.

You broads have rode on the feminist gravy train for quite a few decades now, will you derail it now? Yeah you, you entitlement bitches and non-proactive, typical passive-reactive womenfolk. Will you do it yourselves? Don’t get men involved.

For starters, scrap Title IX. Stop buying products and services with misandrist ads. Teach your daughters to cook and clean before allowing them to step an inch into any university, and only if they possess the mental faculty to obtain a useful degree.

Will you do it? I am not holding my breath. Let’s see how hurting feminism is to you women.

In addition, until places such as Gloria Steinem’s Women’s Media Center are closed down and their members thrown in jail without parole, there will be no peace, and our war against feminism will continue.

Ya, right Gloria. Cause it’s mostly men that buy those magazines at the check-out counters that diss female stars for wearing ugly dresses, having cellulite, counting who’s had the most plastic surgery, emphasizing the problems they have getting or keeping men etc.

Did you not notice it’s mostly women putting women down for women’s entertainment?

Oh what’s that Gloria? The men make us do it? Oh how silly of me not to remember that everything is the fault of men. Everything.

The pyramid appears to be based on the USDA food guide pyramid, with the really juicy words, including “slut,” “cougar,” and “feminazi” being the chocolate mousse of sexism, less obvious words such as “PMS” and “nagging” the roast beef, and banal, potentially sexist words like “temperamental” and “high maintenance” the oatmeal version of misogyny.

soooo now there’s a list of words we men cannot use.
