I get emails quite frequently, and they are much appreciated. There are legions of men out there who are starting to wake up, and that always gives me a boost. However, nothing quite does it like a young man who has awaken to what he faces. When I hear from these guys I know I am doing something objectively good.
Therefore, I am happy to post this email, which ought to let us know that our efforts are not in vain:
I turn 23 this August, and I have been fighting with my depressed bi-polar girlfriend for 3 years now. I just want you to know that I have been reading your site for four days now, and, well I fucking love you man. Seriously, just by reading the articles here you have solved a multitude of my personal relationship issues. I feel like I finally understand the world I live in, and you need to know that more men in my age need you to keep writing. No matter what happens you have my total respect for facing the issues head on, without letting any social or political prejudices cloud your work.
My whole drinking party has been busy this week discussing the content here, and I think we will be for a long time.
We are making progress, and it will be measured by the choices of younger men. We have an undeniable responsibility to them, and it is reassuring to see that we are having some influence.
