Is the Catholic Church trying to bring men back into the fold? If so, its latest campaign won’t help. Some of our readers may have seen the Catholics Come Home (catholicscomehome.org) commercials that have popped up on TV recently. I just saw one that didn’t leave me – a lapsed Catholic – feeling anything but pissed off. After a quick search I found it on Youtube, and thought I’d post it here to invite comments from Catholic and non-Catholic men alike.
Let me ask you: how do you feel about this kind of portrayal of men?
I’m beyond disappointed, but not really surprised.
