Ashley Cole, a famous UK footballer, has been following in Tiger Woods’ footsteps by having a string of affairs with blondes despite having an attractive, accomplished wife. His most recent escapade was in Seattle, where his Chelsea team was playing an exhibition game against the Seattle Sounders.
Cole hooked up with a 28-year-old City Council staffer named Ann Corbitt at the Four Seasons Hotel. The soccer player is portrayed as being a sly, tricky devil in this article, but the tactics he allegedly used to bed the star-struck staffer, including sending her pictures of himself in underpants, were pure cheesecake.
His clumsy attempts to “seduce” the young woman didn’t matter, because all she could think of was his status as a famous athlete. It took very little for Cole to convince Ms. Corbitt to go to bed with him the first night they met. Pictures of her with the athlete portray a giddy woman grinning from ear to ear, looking for all the world like she’d just hit the jackpot.
Corbitt claims not to have had any idea he was married. Of course, she could have asked, but it probably wouldn’t have mattered, given that she is the kind of woman who will jump into bed with an athlete at a moment’s notice and then make the details public (she has even hired a British publicity agent).
Here’s Ann Corbitt spilling the beans:
“All in all, the sex lasted three or four hours,” she told us. “I was very taken aback by how intimate he was and how needy he was.
“It was like having sex with a boyfriend, someone who loves you. Ashley took my clothes off and was incredibly attentive.
“He was a creative and adventurous lover. At the end he was satisfied and so was I. He was aiming to please, not just out to satisfy himself.
“When we went to sleep, he wanted to snuggle up close. I don’t like sleeping like that and he made me too hot.
“But even when I moved to the other side of the bed Ashley still wanted to hold hands and have that contact. And that was sweet.”
Why do American women love sharing with the world what sluts they are? Could it be because they are rewarded for it? Whatever the reason, it takes not only shamelessness, but a vicious attitude toward the man’s wife to do something like this. I suppose the only conclusion one can come to is that Corbitt is pure trash, and as low-class as it gets, but unfortunately she’s the norm.
An additional observation I would make is that women who are attracted to politics seem to be amongst the most consistent offenders in this regard. Perhaps this is how they get their jobs as “staffers” in the first place. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if a plurality of female staffers sleep with all the high-status men they can get their hands on (as opposed to those who only do it sometimes and those who don’t do so at all). Perhaps Tom Rasmussen, Seattle City Councilman and Corbitt’s boss, hired her for just that reason.
