Mary J. Blige, singer and prominent women’s advocate, started a fight with her husband over his alleged wandering eyes, punching him in the face and leaving him bleeding in front of shocked onlookers.

According to the New York Post, she unleashed her rage in club M2 at her record release party on Tuesday night:

Mary J. Blige punched husband Kendu Isaacs in the face at her record release party at club M2 Tuesday night. The singer slugged Isaacs, drawing blood, after she thought he was flirting with a waitress.

[...]

“They got up in each other’s faces before someone tried to separate them, at which point she shoved the guy aside, pulled back and popped [Isaacs] in the face.”

[...]

“She was yelling at him, ‘What are you gonna do, Chris Brown me?’ Four of her bodyguards and two of the club’s kept them apart.”

Ironically, Blige recently opened a battered women’s shelter in New York, and claims that her father, who left before she was five years old, was abusive to her mother. Perhaps her father did beat her mother, but it is just as likely that her mother exaggerated stories of abuse as revenge for the failed relationship, as many women are wont to do, leaving Blige with a lingering hatred of men that erupted into interpartner violence on Tuesday night.

It remains to be seen whether Blige will face any consequences for her public display of aggression, but if the Tiger Woods affair is any indication she will get off scot-free, with a green light to perpetrate further domestic violence against her husband.

Blige’s punch was caught on tape on the following video at about 1:08 (view partially obstructed by someone’s head):

That’s what little girls learn from abusive mothers under our currently insane laws as they’re enforced. Women can physically assault men, and if men retaliate in kind then the woman’s the victim.

Nothing could be surer to breed this kind of behavior than they way we let women get away with it. They need to be publicly shamed – the full Chris Brown treatment (though he had a better excuse). Every guy who excuses women for this is encouraging the woman in his life to think he is her bitch for slapping.

piercedhead January 1, 2010 at 12:51

And Kendu Isaacs needs to dump her arse right now. Women who hit men don’t respect them, and the disrespect just grows uglier and uglier over time. He can do way better.

globalman January 1, 2010 at 13:01

A woman assaults a man…surprise surprise.

Western women are lying hypocrites who condone all manner of crime. Those who claim ‘we are not all like that’ are the worst lying hypocrites of the lot because they will not try and incarcerate women like this who commit crimes like assault.

Young men might want to take note of this. Women will not hold other women to the law of the land.

piercedhead January 1, 2010 at 13:09

Speaking of women out of control, get a load of this news story. It’s about those admitted for medical treatment for drunkenness at a concert over the last 3 days. 90% were women. In previous years it was 50%.

Paul January 1, 2010 at 13:11

Since the age of 12 ( those reading my other posts will know that this was a long time ago) the only people to have assaulted me, sometimes drawing blood, have been women.

Brian January 1, 2010 at 13:19

There are times when a man must use his superior physical force (including hitting) to control a woman’s abusive behavior, and this is one of them. There should be no domestic violence laws, period. Male physical force is an essential element in keeping the relationship between men and women in order.

It’s getting kind of hard to sweep this stuff under the rug, isn’t it?

I’ll have to post that one too.

Rebel January 1, 2010 at 13:43

Funny: when I was (quite) younger, I used to admire women as graceful beings. I thought they were wonderful God-given persons.
That has changed. Not me: women did.

Most of the time now, I perceive them as quite repugnant, like this one here.

In a sense, I am quite glad I have become older: I don’t have to cope with such beings anymore.

Some women are really disgraceful. I can’t help but despise them very deeply. What a waste. What a disgrace they are..

Robin January 1, 2010 at 13:44

I wonder if radio stations will pull her music from their play lists like they did to Chris Brown when he assaulted Rihanna.

Skank Basher January 1, 2010 at 13:59

Mary J. Blige is a maniac with clinical issues that are well documented. Still, she deserves to be in jail for this assault.

Until men start holding women LEGALLY accountable for this type of behavior, it will increase.

Men have a responsibility to ensure that violence against men is acted upon by the police and by the courts. America discriminates against men in ways reminiscent of the old south when whites could assault blacks without fear of prosecution!

ray January 1, 2010 at 14:18

perceptive comments and thanks to Welmer for posting

the irony of Mary J. (“Captain”) Blighe opening her own DV shelter (for 1st class citizens only!) and afterwards punching her husband in the face is WAY too good to pass up

“circumstances” have shown everyone exactly what this talentfree little diva is: just another spoiled brat psychopath built by der matriarchy, with carte blanche to “punish” any male who “offends” her delicate and heightened sensitivities

what a set-up she’s given the MRM

god, i love god!

the face of the western Medea needs to be rubbed — like any disgraceful dog — in the shit of its own hypocrisy and supremacist lies

kudos also to Mensactivism.org and Matt, who also are on this, using the Blighe story as their headline runner

http://news.mensactivism.org/

Barbara Kay may pick this up, that’d be great, she usually does a good job <– p.s. too bad that in our matriarchies mere males arent allowed to join the public discourse, unless they kowtow to femdom

theyre getting worried, ladies n gents . . . like Cap'n Blighe, the matriarchy loves to stomp on boys and men, but has no taste for an actual fight that they might lose

good start to the year, this one's gonna be a Doozy

Paul Elam January 1, 2010 at 14:34

The most interesting part of this story for me was that she was quoted, after smacking the snot out of her husband, as saying “What are you gonna do, Chris Brown me?”

The implication is clear. Blige was taunting her husband after assaulting him, and bringing up the Brown affair to remind him that if he ever tries to defend himself it will be him that gets destroyed by the media while she gets away with being an abuser. That is, after all, what happened to Brown.

These DV savvy female sociopaths are fully aware of how the game works and are now using the reality of DV disinformation and cultural misandry to put even more pressure on their victims.

Advocatus Diaboli January 1, 2010 at 14:58

Is any man here really surprised?

Brian January 1, 2010 at 14:59

The most interesting part of this story for me was that she was quoted, after smacking the snot out of her husband, as saying “What are you gonna do, Chris Brown me?”

That’s pretty much what a woman did in NYC a few years back. She and her boyfriend were accosted by a mugger who held them up and demanded their money. This stupid American woman — obviously imbued with feminist thinking — looked the mugger in the eye and yelled: “what are you going to do with that, shoot me?” The mugger pushed her back, but she repeated taunting him: “what are you going to do with that, shoot me?” And that’s exactly what he did. The boyfriend was unharmed.

globalman January 1, 2010 at 15:01

Guys,
if you want to tell the young guys just how disgraceful women are now point them here:

http://www.menarebetterthanwomen.com/forums/forum-30.html

Currently 810 posts of ‘annecdotal evidence’ of women doing crap things. No one can get through these posts without their view of women dramatically changed for the ‘more realistic version’.

The men over on MABTW scour the news sources in an effort to out do each other for ‘cappy wimmin’ stories. There is also a vast amount of personal testimony there. It is a valuable resource in educating the young guys. Dicks book is also a masterpiece for educating men about women.

Snark January 1, 2010 at 15:04

@ Paul Elam,

Yes. Very insightful. If ‘Chris Brown’ (the verb) simply meant domestic violence, then she would have realised that she had just ‘Chris Browned’ him, making her statement ridiculous.

Clearly, she intended ‘Chris Brown’ to mean a man defending himself against a female who instigates violence. The implication of which is that women are entitled to hit men, but men are not entitled to self-defence.

The entitlement of these pigs never ceases to disgust me.

“Men have a responsibility to ensure that violence against men is acted upon by the police and by the courts.”
I totally disagree. The police and the courts are totally corrupt, just in case you haven’t noticed. Why would you insist that a bunch of criminals are responsible for dispensing justice.

Men, real men, ones with real balls between their legs and not whatever the current crop of manginas have between their legs, MUST, simply MUST be willing to create de jour courts and to dispense justice themselves. And the FIRST lot they should dispense justice to are the corrupt judges. I have two magistrates on criminal charges of theft in Australia and am working on a judge in Ireland. I am also working on empannelling a jury of women in Ireland to try my ex. I know I am not going to see ‘justice’ from the ‘criminal just-us system’.

A good question for men here is how many of you are willing to take justice into your own hands by sitting on juries in de jour courts? So far few have shown an interest in even learning how to claim your rights. You think your rights are protected by your CON-stitution.

Rebel January 1, 2010 at 17:19

“Men have a responsibility to ensure that violence against men is acted upon by the police and by the courts” ..or in ANY other way.

And the FIRST lot they should dispense justice to are the corrupt judges.”

I have been dreaming about that for a long, long time.

“The entitlement of these pigs never ceases to disgust me.”

I am with you on that. But I object your comparison with perfectly honorable pigs.
To me, they are not much more than insects. I deny them any humanity. I am NOT of their species.

Niko January 1, 2010 at 18:43

If the authorities don’t arrest her for assault then its obvious women as a group are deemed not to have the physical or mental capacity of an adult.

The Fifth Horseman January 1, 2010 at 19:37

Check out this projecting loon :

The whole reason why these men claim they fear cuckoldry more than rape is because they seek to trivialize rape. The difference between cuckoldry and rape is like the difference between a small cut and an amputated limb. They’re not even in the same league. So what happens when you claim cuckoldry is worse than rape? You communicate that rape isn’t that big of a deal. This is perfectly consistent with the way so-called men’s rights activists frequently downplay and even justify rape.

Whether it is a man or woman is almost secondary.

The Fifth Horseman January 1, 2010 at 19:43

America discriminates against men in ways reminiscent of the old south when whites could assault blacks without fear of prosecution!

Exactly,

Misandry is the new Jim Crow.

newly divorced January 1, 2010 at 19:50

He needs to prosecute her ass. Sure it will never happen.

I guess men have no right of self defense against women. What are we supposed to do if she’s actually dangerous (i.e. has a weapon). If we defend ourselves, it’s DV. If we don’t, we’re dead or injured.

The Fifth Horseman January 1, 2010 at 19:55

This is one instance when HE has less money than HER. This is unlike the Tiger Woods situation.

So there will be divorce lawyers seeking a piece of the action and side with HIM.

Rebel January 1, 2010 at 20:26

“The difference between cuckoldry and rape is like the difference between a small cut and an amputated limb”

Then it means that Tiger Woods did not commit anything bad, or did he?

I mean: cuckoldry is a little cut. Why then do they make such fuss?

Can anybody explain?

Jesse January 1, 2010 at 20:31

But does anybody actually believe that the courts would do anything if he did lay charges? And the media? Does anybody think they’d take his side instead of hers? Of course not, it’s ok for women to do anything to a man up to and including murder. Men on the other hand aren’t even allowed to raise their voice. In that climate all you can do is stay the hell away from women.

InternetWood January 1, 2010 at 21:16

Well, dead men don’t complain, and the cops rule it a suicide. Nice and tidy. I don’t see why you are upset.

iron clad January 2, 2010 at 00:03

The in between position is, “Ooops!” ….I’m sorry…I justly musta slipped up and spilled that rather large pot of squalding coffee all over your star photographed ass …I’m so sorry….somestimes…. I can just be so clumbsy…so sorry…would you like me to get you some peroxide for those nasty burns..should hurt too much once its all cleaned up…owww..looks like that’s gona leave a nasty mark..so sorry…and would you just look down at those shoe strings of mine ! They are most certainly and most matter of factly are untied…must have accidently tripped on one and dumped all over you , while trying to catch my fall and fell on you instead…I’m so sorry…now ….( optional ) about last weeks slap …

iron clad January 2, 2010 at 00:58

I disagree with the adage. “Revenge…is a dish, Best served…cold !…. couldn’t be more wrong ! Hotter than hell, if posibile…blood makes me sick….

Paul January 2, 2010 at 02:19

I suspect that if this man did complain and lay charges then he would be viciously attacked for – ‘Not Taking it Like a Man’. The attack on his face would be nothing as compared to the attack on his character.

Thats the best thing Mr Isaacs can do is keep his dignity and dump the bitch, just walk away and tell all and sundry who ask exactly why,I mean whats next? kitchen knife between the shoulder blades? pan of boiling fat over him? (tho i doubt such a diva even knows where the kitchen is)

What’s more damning in the eyes of his peers: getting cold-cocked by a woman–or letting her get away with it? That will determine what Isaacs does.

But not for the MSM; the majority follows that like sheep.

You’re preaching to the choir. Even though an eloquent presentation, NOTHING will come of this incident.

Those of you

be deluded.

Zammo January 4, 2010 at 11:03

So far, none of the usual feminist bloggers have addressed this story… nor will they ever.

Snark January 4, 2010 at 11:16

The usual feminist bloggers all believe that Chris Brown instigated violence against Rihanna (sp?), and revel in the money that Tiger Woods is going to lose to his abusive wife.

They’re a lunatic fringe. Not really worth our time. Their lunacy is not even funny.

The Onion >>> Feministing

Zammo January 4, 2010 at 13:31

Lunatic fringe or not, their ideas end up being really shitty public policy, IMBRA being a perfect example.

Black&German January 5, 2010 at 13:08

Perhaps her father did beat her mother, but it is just as likely that her mother exaggerated stories of abuse as revenge for the failed relationship

Nah, it’s probably both of them.

In my experience, these couples tend to beat each other up on a regular basis. It’s just the way they operate because they’re incapable of, or unwilling to, deal with each other like sane human beings. And if one of them isn’t physically aggressive, then they scream around hysterically, or they’re passive aggressive. Some of them really get off on their mutual antisocial behavior. I know a few couples like this personally (relatives) and they drive me absolutely batty.

It’s always funny when they divorce and then remarry because they do the same stuff with their next spouse. Although there are occasional innocents who deserve our help and assistance, sane people generally marry sane people and nutsos marry nutsos. That’s another reason to forbid divorce: keep the nutsos together and out of the dating market.

andrew January 19, 2010 at 10:36

Domestic Violence is wrong period! No excuses.
MJB is guilty of it. Clearly a woman not in control of herself. I am sure this was not her first time. Sad thing is that she misleads other women in her music. This is PROOF that she causes the “DRAMA”. Freakin Hypocrite.

The Man On The Street January 27, 2010 at 07:26

I seem to recall the stadard femikook mantra that young boys learn abusive behavior from their abusive fathers….

Does this hold true to MJB and her mother? Oh wait, silly me.
