Better move:

Don’t tell them you are videotaping.

Then they don’t know to lie about venue or time.

I could see a man who did this being charged with “unlawful recording”[or whatever sophistry the sophists say]; and the recording would inadmissible. He might get a reduced sentence or let out of his first parole hearing though. So that’s at least something.
